EDIT 10/3/24 Tell me why you would stay anywhere else?! As per my previous reviews, this hotel is impeccable from the front desk staff to the rooms to the location to the price point. Thank you Hyatt for being consistently wonderful! Still my favorite-have stayed at a variety of hotels in the Dallas/Frisco area eg Statler, Warwick-Melrose, Hilton Curiio, Embassy Suites, Drury this is by far the most dependable. The room was clean & very comfortable, front desk staff were kind & accommodating (genuinely nice), great location, reasonably priced. We ll be back! Thank you!

We were told we had a view of the city and the pool. Nope, just a rooftop. A/C didnt cool the room very well. Pool had quite a few crickets, but no net was to be seen to scoop them out. Room was clean!

To say that I am disappointed with the way my situation was just handled by the personnel at the Hyatt Regency in Frisco is an understatement. My son was traveling to Frisco today for a few days with his girlfriend so I wanted to do something nice for them and booked them a room yesterday afternoon. As luck would have it, my son texted me at 3am this morning telling me that hes been up all night sick as a dog and in no shape to make the 5 hour drive from San Antonio. I promptly called Priceline (with whom I made the reservation) and they in turn contacted the hotel to explain the situation and inquire about issuing a full refund being that I only made the reservation less than 24 hours ago (their policy is to keep one nights stay if cancelled within 2 days of your reservation). I was informed by Priceline that there wasnt even a chance that the person they contacted at the front desk of the hotel was even willing to negotiate- it was a hard no and that was it. I could understand if I had made the reservation weeks in advance but I only made it yesterday so I wasnt even given the 2-day cancellation window. Unfortunately, life isnt black and white- sometimes things happen out of our control and a little compassion goes a long way. Not only is my son still planning to travel to Frisco (hopefully tomorrow if they feel better) but I fly to Texas twice a year and will be in Frisco in November for 10 days. I have done a lot of research on this hotel since my last visit to the area and was very impressed and had every intention of staying there during my upcoming visit (also the reason why I wanted my son to stay there). I can assure you, that is no longer the case nor will it ever be after the treatment I just received by Hyatt. My time as well as my money will happily be spent at the Omni Star where they know how to treat their guests. Shame on you Hyatt- I certainly expected more from you.

Best hotel in Dallas for sure. The price of $178 is unbeatable, considering the ultra luxury rooms that are clean and ultra modern, and the fact it is connected to a shopping mall is essential. What a hotel, honestly, and parking was super easy.

Decent place, but at this price point need to do better. Room service menu clearly states until 10 pm, I called at 9:40 (after online ordering w the QR code didnt work) and was told its too late and I have to come get my own. Came down and there are barely any staff available with a busy bar, had to wait another 30 minutes down there for mediocre food (although rest of the time food was decent, they were clearly struggling that night.) Asked for a late checkout, was told ok if you sign up for some membership, and its $25/hr. What the heck. The staff thats there is nice and doing their best, if this was a $150/night hotel - would be 4 stars.

I travel to a lot of places and cities on business and this was my first time at this location. The staff was war and friendly. I met the bartenders Justin and EJ in the lounge. They were warm and attentive and made me feel special by checking on me to see if I needed anything. The drinks were great and the food delicious. As I was ready to exit the lounge the manager Nathan stop me to see how my experience was. I appreciate the extra attention they provided me and other guest. I ll definitely be back.

4th time here. Seline at the front desk was super sharp and hospitable. Impressed by the thoughtful care: I stepped in from 100degrees temperature outside, told her it is hot. She knew to offer some cold bottle water, saying the water in the room is not cold. To me, that is really EXTRA and beyond. Truly thoughtful- did not expect that. She gonna make it big one day.

My family of 6 had a stay-cation at the Hyatt Regency Frisco with 2 adjoining rooms (be sure to call ahead of time to see if they have some available, we lucked out) and it was a great experience! Every one of the staff members we interacted with were so accommodating and so nice. We even had some confusion with awards and points while trying to check-in and the front desk staff was so helpful, patient, and understanding. The management I interacted with was also very friendly and helpful. The pool area is both kid and adult friendly. This hotel is great at accommodating families as well as adults looking to have a pleasant get-away. My family and I are already thinking of the next time we can experience this again. Rooms: The rooms were very clean and well organized. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Nearby activities: Shopping, movies, restaurants, minor league sports, and several other attractions very close by. Safety: Since it is located at the Stonebriar mall, safety is very good. Walkability: The hotel is directly connected to the mall so you have a lot of access to shopping and then there are a few dining areas that are definitely in walking distance, but the weather will require discretion on whether is suitable for a medium-range walk or a very quick drive.

Just checked in today and while the hotel is beautiful and we had amazing service from the front desk (Octavia), I was terribly disappointed with the service of the restaurant to the point where we left and drove to a nearby restaurant instead. EDIT: The Manager responded to my detailed review about the onsite restaurant so I dont see a reason to leave that here. Theyve taken that feedback and promised to address it so I added a star back. The balance of the hotel is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is relaxing and enjoyable. We may have benefitted from a holiday week and low vacancy but I generally had the pool to myself. The exercise room was also lovely but I didnt try out any of the equipment. Having access to the mall was great for food, movies, and simply browsing the stores. Honestly, in my 3 days there I only left the hotel/mall twice. This will likely be my go-to destination for my future quarterly visits to the Dallas area as it has everything I could ask for. Nearby activities: As stated before, the mall is great and you re in the heart of Frisco which means plenty of things to do nearby. Walkability: I come here because I can walk through the mall all day. The neighborhood is a suburb with multi lane roads and high speed traffic so I would call the area walkable. I have walked to a few nearby restaurants but it s always a bit dicey since no one watches for pedestrians anymore.

I was on business trip and I stayed here at Hyatt Regency. The experience was truly amazing. Everyone starting at check-in desk to house keeping crew all are very nice, friendly and welcoming. They will do everything to make your stay memorable. The rooms are spacious and view is just amazing from top floor. When I get chance again I will surely come back and stay here. Lack of communication at this location was evident. Front desk did not coordinate well with Shuttle and left us stranded outside for return from destination for nearly 1hr. Details revealed a rift between employees that impacted guests. Lack of coordination with attached attractions was horrific mismanagement. While the basics of a nice room and location were present, service leaves a bad taste.

Booked this hotel for a business trip and was really impressed! Im a WOH member from Canada and I booked with my member rate, and upon arrival the guest service agent said I was being upgraded complimentary and handed me a card with a nice note from the management and signed by all the staff + $50 F&B credit - what a great touch! I got a junior suite which had plenty of room, great finishings, and very very clean. The staff were all really pleasant and friendly, and it was great to see the hotel property was attached to the nearby mall. There is plenty of free parking available and the location is amazing. The bar and restaurant area is really nice, and there is ample room to hang out, grab a bite, meet clients, read a book or just get some work done. Thank you for making my trip memorable, Ill definitely be recommending your property in the future to friends, family, and colleagues. Thanks!

Mixed feelings here. The Google photos show a pool on the roof and a nice big comfy bathtub to soak in after a long 6 hour drive. The pool is actually on the 4th floor and there are showers only. I was going to surprise my wife with a rooftop pool for our vacation and soak in the nice big tub that is advertised. It would be nice if you could look out around the pool towards other buildings, roads, cars etc but there is a wall surrounding the pool area. My plans are ruined. I specifically booked this hotel based off the misleading photos. Never again. I hate trickery and if I wasnt so exhausted from the drive, Id check out and go someplace else, with a bathtub...

Ive had the pleasure of visiting the Hyatt Regency Frisco numerous times over the years, and Ive always been impressed by the hotels amenities and atmosphere. However, it was my recent visit that really stood out due to the exceptional service provided by Vanessa, a server at the hotels coffee shop. As a frequent visitor, Ive had the opportunity to interact with many of the hotels staff, but Vanessa truly went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. Her kindness, accommodating nature, and genuine care for her customers were evident from the moment she greeted me. She took the time to learn about my preferences and made recommendations based on my tastes. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service were impressive and much appreciated. What struck me most about Vanessa was her warm and friendly demeanor. She made me feel like a valued guest, taking a genuine interest in getting to know me and making an effort to remember my name and preferences. Her hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Im so grateful to have had the chance to experience Vanessas exceptional service at the Hyatt Regency Frisco. Don t get me wrong the rooms are beautiful but it s all superficial. They tried to be like Marriott and give you streaming options but used Chromecast which is buggy as can be and doesn t work. They ve locked the TVs down so you can t plug in your own electronics like an Xbox, Fire Stick, or Apple TV. The most annoying thing is the choice to get a desk chair with no wheels but feet that are basically daggers. Be careful walking to open the window barefoot. You stub your toe there and you will regret it. It really is a nice hotel but they have absolutely failed on the technology front.

Eric and Nathan at the bar were very engaging and positive. They provided efficient and respectful welcoming service. Because of them I stayed a longer time at the bar than I anticipated. They started a conversation and informed me about their summer smoked drink tasting that brought a unique experience as they were new, fruity and tasty. Explorist member here. This is a great hotel, new, with a convenient location to the business partners we were meeting. I typically request slippers in the room and an upgrade but didnt get the upgrade nor the slippers. The front desk agents here seem to be a little asleep at the wheel. I have a much better experience at Regency Dallas which is where Ill be returning for future trips or give the Thompson a try. *Edit* They dont read their reviews take a look at their response.

I will never ever going to stay at that place! It was not my first time stay at this hotel! I landed in DFW and drove 35 minutes when I got here! Unprofessional woman sat at the front desk! I was here for the Frisco Fire Department annual awards banquet. There is plenty of parking in the covered garage. The entrance was a bit confusing as well as navigating to the ballroom upon entrance from the garage. The ballroom is beautiful and the staff was awesome. The banquet food and dessert was really good. We had a choice of chicken, steak or fish. I had the salmon and it was grilled and seasoned to perfection.

Normally, our stays with Hyatt are quite good. This one started out normal, right up until about 9pm when we heard noises at our door. We looked out the peep hole and saw several Hyatt employees at our door. I opened and asked if I could help them and saw one of the employees kneeling at the door disassembling the lock. Apparently, someone said it was their room, and their key didnt work. They didnt bother to knock, call, text, or verify in any way if there was anyone already in the room or even to verify this other persons identity. This is wholly unacceptable. I spoke with the manager and felt completely dismissed. This really has us rethinking where we will stay in the future for business and pleasure trips.

The Frisco Location is the best one yet. This was my second time staying in the HYATT franchise but I love how convenient the Frisco location is. Not only is it connected to the mall, you really don t even need to leave. Its really a mini vacation! The food was amazing and the staff Akhil and Vinod went above and beyond with their service. Being stuck due to flight cancellations turned into a treat with a stay at the Hyatt Regency Frisco. The front desk staff (Patrick and Esther) took great care of a late night arriving guest. Modern and spacious. Thanks God Hyatt is changing their typical arquitectural model of the old days (Tall buildings with all the rooms around a balcony setting with a central area). Good job on that! I also liked the rooms and bathrooms, because they are sleek and cool without getting unpractical, like other hotel chains. Based on the service at the restaurant, I could tell that the staff is probably new as much as the hotel but you can see their effort on doing a good job so it is actually ok. There is a mall with in 5 steps from the hotel through the Norstrom entrance which is super convenient.

Hotel is in a great spot connected to a mall. Staff are always above and beyond to offer a great stay! 4th floor pool area is great to take a moment to relax. Copper Steel has a great Rosetto, Ribeye, Sea Bass, and the breakfast buffet has great options! Its definitely one of our favorite Hyatts. Area has a lot of restaurants and shopping for couples or families! Safety: Always felt very safe and secure during stays at Hyatt Regency Frisco! Walkability: The hotel has 3 floors to explore for safe walking, and you can take walks in the mall thru hotel connected access. As a 6 years Hyatt world member, I m disappointed that they have 0 response to my lost item in hotel room. I left my Apple Watch in my room while my stay 12/31/2023 there, I filled out forms they required, made a phone call, but there s no response so far. Let me start this review by saying, Ive stayed in many Hyatt properties and I work in Meetings and Events industry where I source Hyatt properties. I checked into this property at 530pm on Sat, as a staycation. I recently had a baby and needed some time to myself. I booked this stay on points. I stayed in the room until 1130pm until receiving a call that required me to leave to get back to my newborn. I told front desk this. The room was in tip top shape. I barely touched anything in the room. I asked front desk if I could be granted at least half of my points back since I had to check out early. The night auditor advised there was no manager on duty and I would need to contact them in the am. I did just that and spoke with DeAndre, I believe is his name. I explained the situation to him and he advised he didnt have the ability to give points back, that I would just need to contact Hyatt directly and let them know of the situation. I contacted Hyatt first thing Monday explained the situation yet again, they placed me on hold and said they spoke with this same DeAndre at the property regarding the situation and he said they couldnt give me points back because they couldnt resale the room. I have a HUGE issue with this because he made it seem like I just needed to speak with Hyatt corporate and explain the situation. And regardless if you could resale the room or not. Where is the humanity in this to know I had an emergency. As an explorist Hyatt member I expect more. It shouldnt really matter what level of Hyatt member I am. Im not asking for all points back just half. I tried to call DeAndre a few times again, this more but havent been successful to reach him. Im very disappointed.

I liked this hotel a lot. The rooms were spacious and modern and the hotel was clean. Great staff who were attentive and caring. I don t like the sliding barn door for the bathroom. When traveling with your family you want greater capacity for privacy. I don t like that the lobby was slim on general seating. I felt like I had to sit in a restaurant space which didn t always seem welcome.

Me and a close friend were greeted by a large open lobby still decorated with the warmth of Christmas. We d booked a shared room so that neither of us would have to drive after the Triple Crown New Year s event held on the hotel s second floor. The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and we loved the bartender (Peter)! The only time I felt a slight air of annoyance is when I d asked one of the cooks in the restaurant what types of food was served, I was directed to the bar for a menu. I was not yet ready to order but was instead looking for them to say, American or Mexican food. Our room was spacious and situated on the 8th floor with beautiful views of the Frisco skyline visible from each end of the hall. Checkout was a breeze and parking was convenient without the need to valet. I would stay here again and recommend!

The staff is a joke and doesnt communicate with customers. If you tell someone youre to call them back in 45 minutes then dont call them back. I was told I would receive a call back in 45 minutes because the manager was at lunch 2 and 1/2 hours later I had to call them back. Also the Hyatt globalist status means nothing to them.

We loved this hotel. The desk clerks that checked us in were very nice. The had water with lemon and herbs upon check in/check out, rooms were clean, it is very very quiet and we didn t hear our neighbors. The only reason I gave the rooms 2 stars is the lights that are behind the headboard. They would not go off! I called, they said they were motion activated, but not affected by the TV, 30 minutes, no one moved, lights stayed on. Turned TV off, no one moved, an hour later, lights still on. We can t sleep in a room that is not dark, much less one that the lights are on. We used all the towels to put on top of the headboard to darken the lights, which left us no towels the next day. I love the motion lights under the bed, and in the bathroom. They are great when you have to get up and use the bathroom, you don t have to turn any lights on, and they go off after a minute or so. The lights behind the bed that will not go off, have to GO!! Rooms: The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom is pretty and clean. The TV is like a 65 inch, which is way better than most hotels. I wish they would just download all the streaming services so you could just log in and out easier Nearby activities: The mall, light displays, things for kids, family Safety: It is a very safe location Walkability: There s plenty of shopping, convenience stores, restaurants, etc that are in walking distance Food and drinks: It s attached to the mall, and there s plenty of restaurants that are in walking distance.

We visited dallas for the weekend. Stayed here since its an easy access to the mall to go to Kidzania. Staff were nice. Rooms was super quite and clean. Looks like this hotel is also new. We love it. Just fyi if you arrive here late at night better grab something to eat before heading to your room. Their restaurant closes at 10. They do have market place that sells sandwiches and salad but it might not have dressing and utensils. And you pay at the front desk. They also have a bar across from it but no more food at 10pm. Rooms: New. Clean. Nearby activities: Next to a mall. Restaurants nearby and hotels. Safety: I dont see security on scene. But have cameras.
