I m from Laredo and went to CC for my daughter s game. After the game we were debating what to eat and we just drove thru Bella Luna and gave it a try. My daughter had a lasagna she love it! We had traditional pizza and a chicken Alfredo. Price was about $100 dlls but it was worth it

I had my birthday dinner here today, I LOVED IT. It was classy, the restrooms were clean, our server was so helpful and my family and I loved her recommendations. It was a lot of us but she managed to stay accurate and helpful. She catered to all of us diligently and respectfully. The portions are HUGE, we all took leftovers home, the food is delicious, I do wish the seafood was fresh caught being that we are right by the water, but had I not asked I probably wouldn t have known, 9/10 will DEFINITELY eat here again.

My husband and I both ate there for the first time last night. I had the lasagna and he had the linguine and clams. Both were absolutely. The lemon cello dessert was to die for. We are so happy to find our new Italian place in Corpus Christi. We will be back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MEAL AND SERVICE. Though corpus Christie isn t somewhere I visit often, Bella Luna will be a definite eating spot or recommendation to anyone I know visiting corpus. You can tell the food is freshly prepared and with dedication to putting out fantastic meals. Our waitress was also super nice and attentive.

This place is amazing! Wonderful food and service! The environment was charming and quiet, perfect for a date night. There is a stage set up for live music though. We had breadsticks and oil, which were complimentary, Trifolati, Crab and Shrimp Ravioli for entrées, and Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake for dessert. Everything was very reasonably priced for the portions and quality received as you can see in the pictures. They gave us more than we could eat. I would highly recommend each of these dishes and this restaurant for anyone looking for good food and a date night.

My husband and I went last night for our anniversary. The atmosphere wasnt quite what we were expecting, there were lots of large tables with teenagers for birthday parties. Since the dining area is just one big room there wasnt much privacy and we were put at a very small table. Now...the food was really good. I had the shrimp and crab ravioli and it was absolutely delicious. They were out of lasagna (at 6:30pm) so they made something similar for my husband with penne pasta. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was really good, garlicy and a slight spice. The breadsticks with olive oil and balsamic were good as well. All in all, it was a pleasant experience but would like more ambiance for a special occasion like our anniversary. Parking: Fortunately, we parked in the handicapped spot in the front. There were spaces available a bit further down on the street.

Bought their Living Social deal of a prix fixe dinner for 2, and Im glad we did. Service was friendly. The place looks a little rough right now as someone recently drove through one of their walls, and its being fixed up. They have a stage for live music. The food was really good. Entree portions are large enough for 2. They serve warm bread with balsamic vinegar and oil. Delicious. The spinach and artichoke dip was very good. The ceasar salad was good with shaved parmesan. I had the lobster ravioli - delicious. My husband had their lasagna and said it was really good. Their tiramisu was delicious. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful dinner. A little pricey but worth it as everything is made in house from scratch. My compliments to the chef/chefs. Everything was delicious. Waitress did an excellent job of taking care of all our needs. Wait time for food was a little long but worth the wait. We had a large party of 18 so that may be why it took a while aside from it being made from scratch so that wasnt a real problem. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because there was no live music as theyd had it before. It, however, did allow us to visit with each other which was nice. Excellent place to eat. We will return.

Wow. It s a contender for the best Italian food in Corpus for sure. I literally closed my eyes to enjoy my first taste of the Sacchetti alla Gorgonzola. Divine. Perfect consistency and flavor. I like a good tomato based sauce, but if you are a lover of cheese & garlicy white sauces like myself, you need to try this. Great service as well thanks to Toni! Will be back.

Wow, was this place a great find for a special night out! We ordered the Mussels Fra Diavolo as an appetizer and the lobster ravioli to share and it was still too much food . I thought the mussels would be too spicy, but they were perfect. And the BREAD! I dont know what they put in it, but it was addictive. Our server was also lovely. We enjoyed great service and a nice chat. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

I wanted to do something different. And I found this little gem on the strip. Its a little Italian restaurant. Dont worry if he wants seafood it has it. But you can also get the traditional Italian food. Why not Youre on vacation! Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my main dish. But I was able to get the Caesar salad and the wonderful bread. Overall I had a good experience and the service was wonderful on a Wednesday night. Also it is walking distance for some of the hotels in the area.

One of us ordered the Cajun pasta. There were 3 crawdads on top. They were cooked in plain water and smelled bad 1 was totally inedible. I had the shrimp pompdoro. Too much pasta and the tails were left on the shrimp. Hate using my fingers to eat shrimp In a gravy dish. They would be better off using processed shrimp and crayfish. The lasagna was terrific. I also resented being with a recipt with tip suggestions. Especially since they start at 20%

Had a very enjoyable dinner at Bella Luna. Based on other reviews I had no doubt that the food was going to be excellent. It did not disappoint! Tried the Truffle fries and toasted ravioli. Bothe were excellent. Portions where so large we really did not need anything else but we had already ordered. My nephew ordered the Cavateeli Bolognese and shared with his wife. They where kind enough to split the entrée in two bowls before bringing out. They still looked like full portion meals. While I did not taste theirs it looked awesome and I was feeling like I should have ordered it. Neither one of them finished there meal and still enough to take home. I ordered the Frutti Di Mare, I dont like spicy and based on reviews I knew that the red sauce they used might be spicy. I asked to see if they could do a garlic wine sauce and they were happy to accommodate. It was amazing. I wish I took a picture to share. Will be back for sure and will but this place on my regular rotation of restaurants.

Great tasting food and very friendly and accommodating staff! One of our new favorite places to dine out in Corpus. Live music is great too. Weve visited a couple of times now and will definitely return. One suggestion to the Owners is to post a sign stating: Only well-behaved children allowed. During our most recent visit everyone dining had to endure the annoying, unwanted and bothersome screeches and crying of a small child(ren) (approx. 2-3 in age). The parents didnt seem to care or be bothered by it, but the patrons, staff and even the musician we completely relieved when the family of 6 left with children in tow. PLEASE!! We enjoy a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere when dining out and Im sure were NOT alone.

This is my favorite Italian place in Corpus Christi! If you feel like authentic Italian this is the place to go. The Cavatelli Bolognese is my favorite dish! The toasted Ravioli is a great appetizer.. Their lasagna is delicious as well. Their deserts are to die for. Their flat breads remind me of Italy. I was going to remove one star because the hostess was not a pleasant person but maybe she was having an off day. At least I hope that is what it was. The restaurant is always clean. They have jazz in the evening and it makes for a nice relaxing atmosphere.

The dish I ate was good but is not an italian dish it is a Texas one. The staff is nice and charm. But it is not italian food. Update 5/27/2022. I was invited to this place by friends. I asked for a lasagna which is a typical Italian food and difficult to do it wrong. It was overcooked and the lover layer was stuck to the dish and so hard that it was very hard to cut and eat. The sauce was tasteless so, another no Italian food. I guess these people have a quite big problem in their kitchen. My grandfather was Italian and I used to live in Italy so I know Italian food very well, and these dishes are not the kind you expect when you think of Italian food.

For a pricier Italian restaurant, I kinda of had expectations that it would be nicer. My husband and I dressed accordingly. But when we got there, it was not very classy at all. There are beer signs on the wall, yes one is neon. The clientele clearly had more money than we do to go to a place so costly, dressed so casually. In fact, one of the other customers there was wearing shorts and a pleather crop top... it was pretty unappetizing. Of course, thats no fault of the restaurant. Thankfully, we had used a Groupon and did not pay full price. The food was decent. I wouldnt say anything was amazing except for the bread. I got the lobster ravioli and throughout the entire dish, got about 2 bites of actual lobster. But the fries for the appetizer, pretty good! But the reason that Im giving it 3 stars is because the service was pretty good. Our waitress was great! Aside from that, probably wont be back.

It was our first time here so we made a reservation, when we got there there was only 2 other couples in the restaurant. We were greeted and seated our waitress was great and helped me pick a wine. The breadsticks were delicious, I got the carbonara and my husband got the chicken Parmesan. The carbonara was very oily and didn t taste quite right but it was okay. My husband thought that his was good.

We recently moved to CC and have had dinner here twice. Hubby & I have been pleased with the food and service both times. They have wonderful fresh crispy & doughy garlic bread that you have to control yourself so you dont make it your meal. Their menu included mussels fra diavolo. Our 1st visit my hubby wanted it with shrimp and they accommodated the change. The 2nd visit (last night) we tried the spaghetti ala puttanesca and added shrimp. I had clams, we ordered a bottle wine and we took our desserts (Italian & layered chocolate) cake home for later. Our whole meal was delicious on both occasions! Thank you Jessica for being so welcoming! Will be back!

The service was top notch and the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. Overall it was a great experience here going on a date with my partner. Were not too big on Italian food but we heard good things about this place and it didnt disappoint. The food was great, but heavy like most Italian food. We started with the garlic bread and artichoke dip for an appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered Lucky Lous crushed meatball lasagna and it rocked. This is an amazing and quaint little place. Found it here on Yelp! Food is outstanding, server was fabulous, atmosphere was out of this world. Do not come here for anything fast. Take your time, relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy your evening and the company you are with...this is a very laid back place. They do not rush people, thus it means that they might turn people away and if they have a party already coming, they will not seat the empty table. Reservations were taken as well. We ended up sharing and entree and had some to take home! The server we had was Jessica and she was absolutely super! We will be back next time we come to Corpus.

My wife and I just moved to Corpus Christi and were looking for an authentic local Italian restaurant. We found it! Very happy to say everything from the breadsticks (could be their own dessert) to the appetizers, salad and entrees were all amazing. Service was exceptional. Our server, Toni and the co-owner came out to check on us to make sure everything was good. They made a fra diavolo that was top shelf with huge gulf shrimp. You wont be disappointed with this restaurant. We need more of these great family restaurants to fluorish, especially after what we have all been through the past two years.

Somehow as a south Texas local this was my first time visiting and I m almost mad at myself for just now discovering this place! The food completely knocked me out of the park and the service was amazing too. We had a group of 6 for a birthday party and we were effortlessly accommodated. Our entrees ranged from the seafood ravioli, lasagna, bolognese, and carbonara and there was absolutely no complaints amongst the group. Seriously the most authentic food we ve had with the most fantastic service! I was nervous with us being a larger group on a busy Friday night; especially in these short staffed times but we received above and beyond service regardless and felt like we were having our own private dinner party fully staffed! 10/10 to say the least!

Bella Luna always has great dishes and such a friendly staff. Love coming here and highly recommend the lasagna dish...thick spiced meat layers almost like a meatloaf with a very tasty savory sauce and the mussels appetizer in a butter wine sauce was cooked to perfection and the plate was huge. Have been here multiple times place was completely empty called tonight said there was no wait. Our party had 7 so we drove separate cars while trying to find parking half of our party was there and they would not sit them without us. Parking was hard to find then they told the few that were there it was now a 1.5 hour wait. Will never come here again terrible service

Slow servers, really slow. Had a reservation. Sat almost 30 min. Before menu, drinks or anyone spoke to us. Then we saw people that came in after us, had their apps( we didnt) had to ask? The whole night was awful. We went for a special dinner.

Fantastic Italian esp the fruitti de mare. Didn t really care for the bread. Appetizers also good. Live music was excellent- more like a Spanish guitar than jazz but lovely and didn t overwhelm conversation. Located in a cute older building so has a nice feel.

Our waitress was awesome and very accommodating and the pizzas me and my mom ordered were amazing. The chef even came out and asked if my daughter and niece wanted mushrooms and onions in their meal before he prepared it. Then, the most amazing thing happened. I asked our waitress if we could buy a cheap wine key because we flew into town and forgot to buy one for the wine at our hotel room. She literally gave me one. Super sweet lady and great service. I just wish the tables werent wobbly. I would still rate it 5 + because the wobbly table scenario seems to be a thing no matter where you go.

Oh man. We went here a couple weeks ago, and wow. We looked it up online first and the menu looked great, though pricy. I m down for paying for good food though, so I was unfazed and ready for a nice night out. However the vibe of the place is like a downtown bar. Were there beer neons?? I can t remember. The women s bathroom, which was a little scary had it been clean and normal, was full of standing water. The food was ok, but for sure not worth the price. The breadsticks were like somehow not even as good as Olive Garden? The pasta was ok, I got the mushroom ravioli and it was pretty good, my husband got mushroom pasta and it was awful. The onions were raw in it. We asked for Parmesan for the pasta and I figured it would be freshly grated, at the prices we were paying, but no! It was like the shakey kind you get a pizza joints! And the shaker was dirty! My mind was blown. The reality of the place matched up with the menu and the prices was just wild. To be fair, we also had the truffle fries and they were super tasty. And our service was fine, though when we were all finished and waiting for the check we eventually had to ask another server for it. Our server was outside across the street sitting down, we could see him from the window. We still laugh about the whole thing, we were expecting a nice night out and we re just kind of bewildered the whole time.

Came to Bella Luna for my boyfriends birthday and I was very pleased with the taste and service. Daniel was a fantastic waiter. Making sure our drinks were full and delivered our food in a timely manner. He was personable, professional, and kind. We had arrived when the resturant just opened and so we were able to talk to the employees openly. They were all friendly and fun. Full of laughter and really made it a good experience. Highly recommend.

The food was pretty good. It got the picky eater seal of approval. Nice atmosphere and location. The service is the reason it gets 3 stars. It took a whopping 45.minutes to get our meal. It is a small restaurant and has a small staff, but 45 minutes is way too long for pretty good Italian food. It wasnt worth the wait.

Omg were do i begin first the food was cold i got shrimp and crab ravioli and i only got one shrimp and it was cold the ravioli had crab shells in it the sauce was tasted like it was out of a can...oh and it took a hr and a half to get our food also people at other tables got their food before us...i understand the short staff but this was absolutely ridiculous never coming back..oh and the manager with the pink hair was rude and was throwing things around menus and bills on the bar it was really childish

Daniel was our server and he was wonderful.. We didnt go when they were busy but the food was amazing.. Best pasta Ive ever had and the breadsticks are hard to stop eating.. Were probably going back to try a dessert.. Also prices are very fair with the portions they serve.

This little Italian restaurant is a gem in downtown Corpus Christi. The wait staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Especially Daniel. The food menu is extensive and the wine is wonderful. Its the perfect place for a romantic dinner or just a dinner with great friends. Corpus Christi is fortunate to have this restaurant. Bring your out of town friends to impress them.

After moving to the area and trying multiple italian restaurant letdowns wed almost given up. It was by chance we found this cozy place on a side street downtown. The spaghetti carbonara is a favorite and they do it right. From the friendly service to the fantastic food this spot is a 10/10.

For a place that you need to put reservation and they call you to confirm we waited at or table no waitress for over 30 minutes and when she came with water she never came back we had to wave her down just to get our drinks again she never came back 3 other customers came in and had good service they ate and left but we still havent got our food when I had enough I went to pay for the drinks she was putting it on the cooks it wasnt the cook it was her because I over heard the cook say she just put in the order we were there over a hour and a half for a place you have to make reservations it was a joke I will never go back or recommend this place to anyon

Honestly we went in for a take out order, with only (maybe) three other groups, and it still took us over 40 minutes to get our food. Now we were expecting it it to be hot and fresh so we went with complaining. Got back to the hotel and when we opened the bag we were not that happy about the portion of food compared to the price. One appetizer, two entrées and two beers, literally ran me over 70$. My plate was not flavorful but his had some flavor. Over all we were not happy by the time to cook, the cost, or food itself. Safe to say we are not going back.

OMG!!! Delish, Hot, HUGE portions, wonderful and unique menu items! Was in the area and vowed not to eat anywhere we d eaten before. So did a search, this place popped up, and we re like, YES PLEASE!! after reading the menu. Hubs and I shared chicken parm, Bella sampler and indulged in the Italian Cream Cake! Holy Cannolis!!! Excellent customer service during phone ordering and pick up. Extra care was taken to make sure hot food was hot and chilled cake stayed cool! Wow! Breadstick and utensils included in Togo bag. Yum! We will be back in the future! So many tasty options! Also btw, we shared the items and we still have enough leftovers for dinner tonight.
