I recently hosted my wedding at The Courtyard at Gaslight Square and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The communication with Danielle (the owner) was horrible from start to finish. She was unresponsive to our questions and concerns, which added unnecessary stress to the planning process. Our down payment took forever to be pulled. We booked the first week of March and the down payment wasnt pulled until the end of May. I had to remind her several times to run the card and it was always an excuse, she would get it done later that day and it didnt happen or she would not return calls or message when I reminded her. It even came down to the point where I asked if she ended up double booking because she wasn t pulling the payment. I also had to be the one to say I will be at the office on this day and this time and hoped she d be there so that we could finalize numbers. After many unanswered text messages and no call backs I addressed my concern with her lack of communication she handed it over to Kelly who thankfully was so awesome. Kelly broke down expenses, answered our questions and got back to us within a reasonable time. I only worked with Kelly a week and a half before my wedding and she was able to help finalize everything the Thursday before our Saturday wedding while that should have been completed 15 days prior to the event according to my contract. On the day of the event, the air conditioning was out, making the space uncomfortably hot for our guests. This situation was also particularly distressing as it caused our cake to start melting, compromising the presentation and enjoyment of our dessert. We also had His and Her favorite candy and it all melted before our guests could enjoy them. At the end of the night it was 86 degrees in the inside therefore I m sure it was in the 90 degree range when most of my guest were there. The next day I remember that we should have had two Port-o-cool fans and they were not out. (we had the twilight collection). Overall, the experience was far from what we expected, and we would not recommend The Courtyard at Gaslight Square based on this experience. We hope they can address these issues for future guests.

Very nice venue. My daughter had a dance there with her school. The parking is lacking but it is a kind of drop off type of place.

We had our wedding there and it was absolutely perfect. Kelly coordinated the day and there were no hiccups at all. All of the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond. We had the pasta station for dinner and it was SO good. We received a lot of complemented for the food and the venue from our guests as well. This is a GREAT options for events, especially weddings. They provide so much all in one contract and they absolutely deliver! SO worth it.

We recently got married at the Courtyard at Gaslight Square. We had the time of our lives! Our coordinator Sabrina was so helpful - she understood our vision we were going for and made everything flawless and perfect for us! She took great care of us, we wish we could do it all over again!

I believe the coordinator was Danielle. Very nice the place was great. Everything went off without a hitch. Family had a great time. Just be careful with the break around the oak.

Dr Quraishi s pain management office has helped me immensely. I appreciate that they are not from Corpus and travel here on the weekends to see patients. And the appointments are late enough in the day so I can still sleep in.

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and everything was so perfect! Danielle/our wedding coordinator was so so amazing and helpful!! We had such a fun and memorable time here. Everyone loved the venue and enjoyed the food so much! I could recommend this place over and over again!!

Seemed disorganized. Chairs were placed in a way that seemed cluttered. There s a drain right in the walkway of the isle for the bride who you know is wearing heels. It s Beautiful venue, but for the cost should work on being more excellent in execution.

Really enjoyed it. Nice small getaway venue that offers a closed of portion both inside and outside for small events or weddings. Enjoyed the actual dance floor area and the setup. Inside was very clean as well as outside. Staff was amazing and very professional to all guests. Very attentive staff. Parking was easy. Great venue would definetly reccomend for small to medium venues.

This is a very beautiful venue inside and out. My event was held outside and it was lovely. The only issue I had was that the chandelier was not placed during my event when it was included in my package. Also, the cake that was included in package was not given to me. I had to ask for it after my event. The cake was delivered but it was not in my wedding colors. If it werent for the pretty place I would have been super disappointed.

Not only is the food and staff wonderful, but the place is so gorgeous. When the do catering events, it takes my breath away because of how dazzling the result of all their hard work is. 10/10 would recommend. Family friendly as well!

Kelly was amazing at the the wedding reception last New Years Eve. She rocked the house and kept the whole wedding on schedule and running smooth as glass! Highly recommend Kelly and the Gas Light Courtyard for weddings and corporate events!

First of all I just want to say my wedding coordinator is AMAZING. Danielle is so helpful and accommodating, she made sure everything I wanted was in place and really wanted to make sure it was the wedding of my dreams. It is an absolutely beautiful venue, food was incredible, and all the other staff were truly friendly people. If you are considering this venue, book it! You will not be disappointed. :)

This place is nice and accommodating if you go through with the plans and everything s right, but if anything goes wrong, they avoid confrontation and drag out any sort of changes or fixing what s wrong. Aren t willing to work with you and they will repeatedly ignore your texts and calls to avoid problems. In Response to The Manager: you do not have to find my name in the data base for me to have a bad experience with this place. Your comment about returning phone calls and texts is a lie and no this place is not accommodating with Covid.

From the very first moment we walked in to this place to all the way to my wedding day, my coordinator was so attentive and did everything for me. She made me so comfortable and worry free. Lighting and the ambiance is amazing at this venue and cant wait to have my pictures from the photographer. they did everything for me and all i had to do is get my hair and make up and just show up. One bride to another, dont think twice booking this venue.

Beautiful venue to rent for an evening. You can put a live band in the court yard, and they even have a fountain. If youre getting married, or having a quincenierra, rent this place. Plus theres plenty of tables and chairs for all your guests. Come here.

Was not even given the opportunity to view the space. Was treated quite rudely. It s sad because I was excited to see the space. The rep really didn t want to be bothered with me. Even after I ve been emailing with them for over a year. At least pretend like you care. You need to do a better job at explaining things upfront before people come for an appointment. Not only that, the location of the office is confusing.

My husband and I just got married there and we were so happy with EVERYTHING. From the minute we walked in the door to get ready, we were comfortable. There is a bride and groom room for both to bring their wedding parties and get ready. Both are spacious and right inside the venue so you can also see what is going on. Krystal was AMAZING. She handled every detail perfectly and helped in every way possible. Our results were a beautiful wedding with comfort and ease going into it. I would recommend this if you want a gorgeous wedding but stress free. They do almost all the work so all you have to do is get ready. They also provide tent insurance (we ended up needing it because of rain) and heaters for the colder months. They provide in-house catering with some of the best food I ve ever had. TLDR: We had the best night of our lives and it was all because of the wonderful professionalism of The Courtyard at Gaslight Square Square and the productivity of its staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
