This place was a gem. Jen was our bartender. It was late and she was wonderful. Helped us through the menu. Told us what she likes. She had bomb recommendations. We had such a great time. The atmosphere was so cool. Awesome art. Polaroids cover the walls. The musician was playing straight fire. The pulled pork and burger were delicious. Stop in. Grab a bevy and a bite. Great place to spend a Friday evening. We came from out of town to visit family and happened to come across this place in our decision to catch a quick bite. We made it there in time for Happy Hour. Hey, its Angel. Back to give yall a heads up on another hot spot!! I always wanted to know what this place is about and BOOM , and I happened to experience an awesome night on a Thursday. On this day of the week, its Jam Night. Local musicians get to come in and share their gifts with the crowd. Really something to come and check out. Theres talent everywhere, and the environment is chill and lax. Theres good food to eat and a variety of alcohol to try. Staff are awesome, and they strive to help you get that great experience you are looking for. You can book early to get a reservation just in case you got a crew and a party to be had. All in all, I give The Exchange two thumbs up!! Great job, and this place is happening!! I recommend it, Corpus!!

So this joint has more of a bar feel and atmosphere to start with. So if you re going just for food this is something to keep in mind. Everyone was very friendly here. We did go just to eat before an event. Food came out in a very normal timeframe. We ordered a classic burger that was good, a Loganlit burger which had great flavor with a spicy sauce, and the fried pickle/curds which also were yummy. The waffle fries however that came with the burgers were almost unbeatable, they were very over cooked

From the first person Alex who helped us decide on the best burger- the Loganlit! From there we actually meet the man, the myth, the legendary DJ Logan, the inspiration for said burger....come to find out out he used to radio DJ in. Dallas back in the day....93.3 The Bone!! We had so much fun talking about Dallas radio with him and enjoyed his company tremendously! We met one of the owners Chris who was so kind and friendly!! Yall this is a MUST STOP in CC!!!! The mini tacos were amazing, they were $1.50 during happy hour, which ended at 8pm. Bartender was nice and attentive, food came out fast and drinks were good. It was not crowded, very chill. They played a mixture of hip hop music and I watched some break dancing. I will be coming back to try their wings next time. I would recommend more old school rap and R&B.

Last night I was there while chainlinks played and i had my black purse on the table by the pool tables & while playing pool one of the girls that work there wearing a blue dress took my purse upstairs I guess because nobody was sitting at table where purse was at because we were all playing pool right by them. When I went & looked for it she saw me & told me she took it upstairs & went and got it & I appreciated it so much till this morning..Didnt think to look inside last night because my husband was taking care of my food & drinks & this morning I looked for my money to make a purchase & my $200 in cash I had in there was gone. I know she was walking around the place picking up drinks everywhere I never saw anybody else by that table so Im just disappointed especially cause it was mine & my friends 1st time there. I just dont understand why she took it upstairs if me and my friends were all right there And we were the only ones who were sitting there why not just ask one of us. Nobody else was at that table except for us... :/

Hot sauce debacle: I got my food and on my way back from the bathroom I asked the chefs for some hot sauce. One of them got an attitude, I tried to tell the manager about the attitude and he told me it was my fault for talking to the chefs. It had been a while since I had been there so alot had changed. Was hoping for the same experience but was opposite. The food was mediocre and warm not hot and also took a good while to come out. I ordered Logan burger and some kind of gravy covered fries really messy and had six dinks. The waiters were not rude but took forever and we sat bar side. I did leave a smaller than usual tip because of the warm food and slow service. As I was leaving the bald I guess bar manager asked me if I could leave more tip and said that his waits didnt make enough for me to be leaving a small tip. I thought just zero out the tip and dont leave any thing but I didnt I upped it just because I understand being under payed sux. But I will not return to this place it has really gone down hill and was very unpleasant.

The cheese curds are delicious and their home made ranch is up there on my list of yes ill come back for the ranch dip recommend the Cubano great sandwich. I had the pleasure of experiencing the awesomeness you can feel while hanging out at The Exchange over the last few days! The positivity amongst the entire staff as well as the owners is tremendous. Chris does an excellent job being a leader on a daily basis. I enjoyed some delicious food from Logan and Mark, while Mads, Garrett, and Alax kept me refreshed with Ginger Ale, water, as well as some adult drinks. Laughing to comedy, hearing some good 90s rock music, and spending time with my new friends, friend for life Rick, and fraternity brothers has me convinced I need to be a regular visitor here in Corpus Christi. Losing in pool to Jeremy was even fun. Experiencing what our Pi Lambda Phi brother Xavier put his heart, sweat, and tears into in person was really special. I am excited to come back again soon!

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendlessness didnt exist. I took my two daughters (young) and brought our own crayons and coloring books. They were silent. We sat at a table for 20 minutes before I went to the bar and asked if it was just bar service (which took a few minutes to get a bored bartenders attention). Bartender confirmed that we needed to order from her but then told me that they stopped serving children 2 minutes before I asked. Cute. So, we left and f this place and the stuck up attitude that comes with it. If there had been a sign on the door or something on the website, I understand... But nope.

Some of the nicest people in Corpus gather here - and Im pretty sure the leader of that pack is the manager Madz. I dont know how she does it; I always appreciate her interactions and end up staying/drinking longer than the initial plan - and the BUBBLES!! If youre there when shes working you got lucky, go buy a lottery ticket - but after. Garret and Alex are top notch bartenders; chill vibes but service and knowledge to rival any upscale craft cocktail place. What local bar here has Basil Haydens and Blantons?? None of the others Ive been to in this town. Also, one of the few places in town to get a decent meal after 9PM w/o feeling like that a**hole customer who walked in 20 minuets before closing. Pretty sure it closes around mindnight(?), so plenty of time - but Id still verify before getting hopes up. A business is only as good as its weakest employee and Im starting to think they dont have have one. *** OH yea, the outside seating is dog friendly! The staff do come outside to check on you, so ordering is not a hassel.

Im from out of town on business with four employees to feed . During a presentation I attempted to order for five to be picked up by an assistant as I couldnt go anywhere. The young lady who answered the phone said she couldnt take payment over phone. You might want to reconsider this policy. Immediately after I hung up I called U n I steakhouse who eagerly took payment for the five plates costing over 100 dollars. Couldve been your money guys, however, the sweet yet not quite ready to make decisions young lady answering phones at 900 on Friday night didnt even try. What happened to reading the guest? Looks like you lost this one. Have a safe and peaceful night!

Super cool place, super friendly staff. Quick drinks. Fantastic appetizers. We just stopped in for drinks and a quick snack but I have no doubt their menu you is just as good. All very fair prices. Very cool vibe.

pricey drinks and I was charged said dollar amount, but bartenders decided to added a few extra dollars on my tab for a tip. I did not tip. I d recommend staying away from this place.

The best bar downtown great bartenders that take care of you and make sure you are good. Very friendly support small business locally and nonlocally . Family and friends oriented. If you need a joke to be cracked they got the jokes to put a smile on your face. Live music and many other great events.

Love The Exchange - Corpus Christi. The food is exceptional and the service is better than that! After just a little time here, you ll see how much effort everyone puts into making your experience great. The Cubano Kush is not a traditional cuban, but it was the best I ve ever had. Im learning downtown Corpus consists of pubs/bars. The Exchange was definitely worth the try, they have some unique menu items. Food was very good!
