Theres 1 piece of grilled mushroom on my Philly cheese steak and the girl at the counter says it counts for my charge of $1.09, about 4 small pieces of bell pepper for my charge of $0.59 and a little more than the bell peppers in quantity for my charge of $0.59 of grilled onions. Meat in the Philly was sadly lacking also. I guess hard times at the surf club...

Went to celebrate a friends birthday at 530pm on Friday 09/13. There was a small crowd. Nice vibe. I had the shrimp wrap and nachos with beef and chicken. Added the sour cream and guacamole. The shrimp wrap was delish!!! Had a homemade ranch dressing that was tasty. The nachos were very good !! Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Someone with our party said the Burger was good as well.

Stopped in for lunch and we both had the fish and chips, he had battered fries and I opted for the sweet potato fries. We enjoyed our lunch, and of course, the atmosphere is always great. Parking: There is some construction going on in front street of restaurant, so you may have to search a little if parking lots are full. Wheelchair accessibility: Designated parking in the parking lot.

The food at this place isnt the greatest. No one really comes and checks on you. You take care of all your needs when you walk in or when you need a refill on drinks. And you clean your table afterward. I dont see that leaving a tip is appropriate here. The only reason I would suggest this place is the atmosphere. The atmosphere, for the most part, is pretty chill. Kids enjoy it, too.

Parking: Parking is typically available in front of the oyster bar or surf club parking lot, otherwise you can find parking on a side street, plan an extra 5 minutes to find parking during peak hours. Most parking is free but occasionally people get stuck in metered public parking. Food

The killer atmosphere and customer service were spectacular. WE SCREWED UP. They apologized and really hooked us up. The food I only rated 4 stars because nothing was out of this world, but everything was well executed and served fresh and flavorful. Big thank you goes out to the entire team! We had a shrimp quesadilla, nachos, poppers, and fried pickles along with a beer, and mixed drink from the bar. The food was good and brought out in a timely manner. The mixed drink was well done. Overall had a positive experience. The restaurant is also dog friendly, so thats a plus! Would come back. Parking: Parked in the street, had no problems getting a spot. I believe there is also a parking lot that belongs to the restaurant. Not entirely sure, had easy up front parking in the street. (Free)

We love this place! We have been too many times to count, usually coming for nachos before the Hooks games. The one time we have an issue with the food, guacamole, and let the manager know, he just didn t really care. We will be back but we are not impressed with the management. The atmosphere is a typical music venue bar but there is plenty of seating and areas where families can sit and the food value sells us in the place - it is really reasonably priced and quite good - most of the time.

I enjoyed my visit here and look forward to coming back! They were so polite continuing to work around us visiting as we realized they were CLOSED and then we left ! Nice crew and manager ! What a cute bathroom by the way, super beach girly or Malibu vibes FUN. Order up front and they give a number to set at your table (outside seating is nice - and a stage for live music) I might recommend grabbing a menu (paper ones are more extensive) and getting a beverage from the bar if you are a drinker {if you need time to decide} set down and then go order perhaps. Personally I look at menus online beforehand to get the decision ball rolling. I had the cat wrap, assuming catfish now that I think about it HAHAAA It was blackened filet and a little spicy I loved it! Can I eat here everyday until I try each item on the menu? Lol Plenty of draft beer to chose from, ipa s, foreign and domestic, local (Guinness, holler) > do they draft a Guinness properly is the question to test Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is smallish and seems to fill quickly - appears to be plenty of space to move around in the building without bumping into tables or anyone ! Also access to outdoor seating without having to go thru the building - There s also a parking lot catty cornered that seems to always have parking if handicap spots or the closer lot happens to be full. Overall open layout I think would be just fine for traveling thru (outside is strait to the left without having to weave the restaurant)

Under normal circumstances I would rate the Executive Surf Club five stars, and want to be upfront about that. I ve been going there most of my life and the food and beer selection is always great. However, an incident this evening which I believe was completely mishandled by management occurred and left me questioning if I would ever return. My friend, who is a regular, was accosted by the staff and third party security guard about his parking. We discussed it and I went to look at the parking and took a photo and brought it back. It was deemed his parking was not actually a problem. My companion asked for a manager and it was discovered that the staff member was actually the manager, named Leo. My companion was trying to stand up for our friend and questioned the manager for accosting our friend because it was unnecessary. After we received our food order my companion went to order a drink but was denied service at the bar. Then a busser came by our table and asked if he could clear glasses from the table, to which my companion said he could but she wasn t going to move out of the way for him. He could have gone around to the other side to complete his task. Instead, the busser went back to the same manager and the manager asked us all to leave. I asked why I was being told to leave because I didn t do anything at all, and if I could finish my beer before leaving. I was told by the manager that I could not finish my beer and I would be comped for it, and was demanded to leave immediately. I made sure to close my tab and get my card, which turns out my companion already did that for me. I personally felt it was an ego trip on the manager s behalf and it spoiled our fun evening with several friends and our puppy.

went to pint night for some drinks with friends & ended up having the manager come at us after; we had been served already asking us if we had bracelets, bartenders never asked for ID. when she came to ask for my ID she claimed it was fake and refused me and my friends service after confronting her. long story short, cops got involved and they verified it was real and manager went on to say we were banned from going back again. always spend good money here but won t be coming back any time soon, cops were more understanding then surf clubs own manager. great food, terrible management, & very embarrassing.

The Executive Surf Club is always a good idea. Great option for grabbing a drink or a bite and appreciate some live music, hang out with friends, etc. It can be a bit loud sometimes, especially at night, so if thats not what youre looking for you might consider alternatives.

We have been visiting since as long as I can remember. I live in SETX but have had family in CC since 1989, and has always been a go-to. The parking lot is small but considering the location, thats not to surprising. The aesthetic of the restaurant is so good - its a lot of just about everything and I love sitting at the surf board tables. You walk up to the counter and order your food, grab your drinks and have a seat. The burgers are big and juicy, the fries are thin and crunchy - its all great. Ive never had a bad experience here.

Low key place to hang out. Day drinking, night drinking, whatever. Our bartender was awesome. Parking: Two parking lots and a short level walk to the entrance or street parking and walk in the door.

I ve come here multiple times and though it is pricey, everything is usually good. Came today and got what my husband and I usually get, but the club queso was in a much smaller styrofoam bowl than I ve ever seen before. $6.99 (mind you the menus still say $6.39) for a 4oz queso is absurd. The bowl wasn t even full, it was the saddest bowl of queso we ve ever seen. We ask for no guacamole in it, and I thought maybe that makes it seem like less, but how is it that I m going have a ton of tortilla chips with barely any queso? The most disappointing part was the customer service, or lack there of. The manager woman who was there at around 11a-12p on November 30, 2023 was very dismissive, and gaslit my husband when he asked about the queso being in a different bowl than usual, and acted as if we were the crazy ones. Jeez I wish I took a picture of the queso because it was ridiculous, I asked for the entire order to be cancelled and left. I don t go into a restaurant expecting to be waited on hand and foot, but when someone brings to your attention a change or difference in a main menu item that is ordered frequently by customers, have some sort of courtesy or common sense to offer 1) the item be taken off of the receipt and take the item back if you will 2) explain that this is how it usually is, and apologize for the confusion and maybe even give an extra half full 4 oz bowl as a courtesy or 3) explain that there was some kind of change, out of your control. When you lack these basic skills, your business suffers. The manager may not care, but the owner and whoever put their livelihood into a local restaurant like this does. It s super disappointing because this is one of my only favorite places in Corpus, but as usual, Corpus does what Corpus does, and poor customer service ruins anything decent. Won t be rewarding bad service and behavior anymore, but at the very least, update your menus.

Its a surf shop theme so dont expect much for food. Its walk up and order and they bring you the food. Basic frided fish and french fries. Fish tacos looked good but nothing too extravagant. Long list of beers on tap.

We like the executive surf club. It has a fun atmosphere. The food is OK if you like bar food. Most people do. I would like more vegetarian options, but that is me. We usually go there on Wednesday with friends and it is everybody s favorite place together downtown. This is a noisy place.
