Our server Nealia was excellent! She was attentive, our drinks were always topped off. She was very friendly and personable. My son was visiting from California and she recommended the hickory burger which was amazing. We even tried the beignets...yummy! Give her a raise...she is running this place!! And Jared, the acting manager was also great. Yall got a winning team with these two.

Went there with a sports team after a game, big group. Service was inconsistent and forgetful. Food came out of order. Sandwiches were great and so were the tacos. Drinks were cold and good selection. Moved to outside patio after eating and received zero service outside! Bar tending was absolute worst, were told she can t serve us outside as she s too busy and servers refused to come outside. What a crap show!

Jaden was simply amazing! She was super attentive and super sweet. We ve never had bad service at this place. The food was hot and just the way we like it. The only thing I could say is that there were a lot of kids running around, but that s not the restaurant s fault. That s more on the parents for not telling their kids to sit down while others eat.

First time visiting, very inviting place, friendly staff, waitress was helpful with a good personality. We ordered an appetizer bacon wrapped jalapeno and cheese stuffed shrimp, they were great came with a dipping sauce, we probably could have made a meal of them 4 to an order but they were very large. I ordered a signature Hickory burger it too was quite large it came stacked with onion rings and fries on the side plenty of food for a grown up! I would order it again with extra hickory sauce! Wife has grilled chicken with veggies along with a side salad she took was impressed! TVs everywhere so lots to look at while you wait! There is this girl there named Kayleigh that was mine and my family server and she was absolutely the best server we have had anywhere not only was she awesome and amazing she has a good heart and was great with my 3 year old my daughter was telling her what she wanted and she made sure she listened and not only got her order right but got the rest of ours right as well she was fast she was just overall amazing and just wonderful next time we come back I will definitely make sure she serves us again hopefully she is there.

Went on Saturday night to watch the Longhorns game. Greeted nicely at the door abs seated at the bar as requested. Drinks were delivered promptly.... half way through the gabr the channel was changed. 4 patrons asked 3 different waitresses if they could change the channel back to the game.... it took 15 minutes or longer for that to happen. We had to ask for refills. Adverb asking for drinks, you were made to feel as if you were an inconvenience, not a paying customer that needed to be assisted. There was no welcome feeling for most of us at the bar... we felt ignored and like a burden to the staff.

This Walk-ons never disappoint! We have had James as our server numerous times and he always does a great job! James knows how to aid in your dinning experience and experience at Walk-ons. The food is always fantastic and we love that you can be a sports fan or funny video fan to enjoy the TV entertainment. Anyone who requests James and visits here will not be disappointed. Kid-friendliness: James is great at accommodating kids and encouraging kitchen staff to bring out kids meals quickly.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am a foodie and also a Google local guide and this establishment needs new staff from the owner and managers down. This was my review on my back up Google account 3 weeks ago with updates. The owner sent a response link, filled it out, never had anyone contact me. Shows lack of care. Food was absolutely gross. The tea had a strange taste to it so I ordered lemonade and it has no sugar in it at all. The fish had no taste to it and the red beans and rice well it can t be red beans without the red beans. I wanted to like this place so bad but the food just didn t do it. So we decided to try walk ons yesterday for The first time and for our 17 year wedding anniversary... I cant say the food was bad mainly because we never got the chance to eat. We walked into the restaurant mid afternoon and it was about 35 or 40 percent capacity... We were excited to try something new. We stood at the front and waited For ten to fifteen minutes. Made eye contact with the bartender. In hopes she would acknowledge we were there and we saw two servers on the other side of the restaurant. But, We never once were acknowledged and finally made the decision to leave. We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse where we had an Amazing meal and Great service. I have managed restaurants in the past And this showed a serious lack of management, and if I was the owner of this company I would seriously consider Getting rid of the management at this location before the community decides to get rid of the location. We will not be back And I will be sure to inform my friends in family where not to go.

To be fair, I don t have much to share because I was never sat down. This is incredibly common at Walk On s unfortunately because the same thing happened at the Spring location. I walked in and the place was at about 25% capacity and 3 guys were waiting to be sat down. I stood behind them waiting to be sat or put on a list or at least greeted. A group of 4 came in and they were immediately greeted and sat down. A couple came in and the same thing. The group of 3 guys were sat down and I was standing there all alone and still nobody even said a word or asked me what I was there for. I had to approach the hostesses. This is the second time at this location and a much different experience from the first. As pitiful as the lack of service was from the two hostesses, it reflects more on the management at Walk On s. Clearly management isn t smart enough to understand how important good hostesses are.

I normally don t leave a review unless I ve had major issues with my visit. But I was so impressed with them that, I feel, a 5 star review from me is deserved. During the outage from the hurricane, I ordered online, not thinking that they could be closed. Totally my fault. But, after a few days, I called and they gave me a refund no questions asked. Today, I figured I d order online again (this time I called and got the confirmation of them being open) and give them a try. Everyone was so sweet to me while I waited on my food, making sure I didn t need anything. While leaving, a young lady held the door open for me and was even willing to help me to my car. We went to walk ons a few days ago and from the moment we walked in was not a good experience. I have a service dog for mobility issues. I was first told no dogs allowed, until I said I would go somewhere where service dogs are allowed. Once that was resolved we were sat in the middle of bar area while every one after us was placed in the main dining. We have been here before with my service dog and been allowed to sit in the main dining area. Food came out and was below standard for the price point and it was cold, Probably will not be back to have that kind of experience again

First time here. Came at an off time since the place is normally packed. There are just 2 of us so we sat at the bar. Took several minutes to be waited on at all. Bar tender informed it was shift change so she could go ahead and get our drinks but didnt want to take our food order until the change over was complete. OK, no big deal. After about 10 minutes she comes back with a coworker and informs that he will be taking our order. He gets our drinks and takes our order. Appetizer comes out hot and fresh. Main meal comes out close behind. We were never asked if we needed anything like salt or catsup.My husband finally got up and got salt from one of the many empty tables. No one asked of we needed drink refills or anything until we were finished eating. I did request drink refills and they were promptly delivered. All in all I most likely will not be back. If they had been busy I could understand but they were not. Food was OK but I can get OK anywhere.

This place is our new go-to spot for sports! Overall, it was a great experience. The service was great, and the food was really delicious! We sat at the bar, and our bartenders were very attentive and provided some recommendations on what to order. Boudin balls are SO good!!! These are a must try as an appetizer! Do better Walk Ons!!! It seems each time we come here (about once a month) something happens. This time we asked to be seated at a booth. When my husband started to sit down the table fell on his lap before he could sit all the way. Apparently the weld on the leg was busted. So they sat us a couple of tables down. We always order water! YUK!! It tasted like it came out of the lake. It even had a bad smell. They gave us bottled water instead. We ordered sliders WITH bacon, no bacon. We love the food but it seems other things need a little attention. As we ate, no one ever went over to look at the table or mark it off. Bewarel of the last booth in the bar area by the restrooms.

Food was good... not awesome. Service, not so much. The bartender spent a major portion of the afternoon talking to servers with her back to us. At one point she was putting lotion on her tattoos and then didnt wash her hands. We will probably try it again as there are a few food options we want to try. Yesterday we were looking for a new place to try, and decided on Walk-Ons. Our first thought was service was slow. But honestly Im so happy we waited. My son got a burger, delicious, my husband got the sliders, also very good. I got the Ribeye Poboy. Exceptional! So good, that we went back today and we all had the Poboy! Our server Kylie was wonderful, personable and made sure we were well taken care of. Drinks were very good. Menu should note that Ribeye Poboy is highly addictive, may even require rehab.. Lol! We will definitely be back, because now we are hooked. Thanks Kylie for a great experience! Keep up the good work! We will definitely ask for you again and thanks for your patience while we waited for our son to arrive! Parking: Ample free parking available.

Horrible experience. My husband and I were sat fairly quickly. The server got us a beer and fried pickles, when we ordered our food, 2 orders of Tuscan chicken, the server even repeated it after us. We saw 2 families seated after us eat and leave before we received anything. Asked for the manager, Nate, short white guy with dark hair, was extremely rude. Making excuses and not trying to fix the problem after us sitting for an hour patiently waiting. Did not act like a manager and his main response was, what do you want me to do? Wont be back to this establishment. Worst service ever, accidents do happen but the management needs to be better.

I cant even explain it. My visit was short but sweet. The only thing that ruined this was my phone call to leave. I have been to the other Walk On s location so I know the food is good and was looking forward to, however, I will be back. This drink! This drink! Like seriously have not had a mixed drink this good at a restaurant in a long time. It was made to perfection and served with the biggest smile. Dan put his pinky toe in that drink I think. Lol. It was beyond delicious! Restaurant was clean. Restrooms were clean. Atmosphere on point. Bright and sunny outside and the windows allow you to enjoy that. There is a small patio to the side of the restaurant.

Very friendly staff. Food is always great. Service has been great every time. Granted, I have only been there right when they open, so its not usually crowded. We are usually in a larger group of 10-14-ish... But the food is good. So far, an order has not been messed up. even small items are on point. Drinks stay full. Food is delivered hot and tasty. Great atmosphere. There are plenty of tvs with different channels on, so youre surely going to find something you like. ****Food**** I have ordered their chips and queso and their fried pickles as appetizers. They have always been great! For entrees, Ive ordered their Cajundillas (or something like that). And their jalapeño jack burger. The DILLAS have a Cajun flare to quesadillas. Really good. Got Ranch as a dipping sauce and something else it comes with. The Jalepeno burger is really good, too, just a little messy. Make sure to have plenty of napkins.

Came in on a Friday afternoon at 2p.m for Good Friday and sat at the bar. There was two bartenders there walking around me and my wife got 10 minutes and never came to ask if we needed anything or gave us a menu. We decided to leave because we, along with one other gentleman, were the only three blacks in the place and were being ignored. As we were walking out, the bartender, being a smart-butt, said, bye y all. I will never come to this location again and I will be talking with the precinct about this being that I work for Harris county engineering as an inspector.

We was staying near by the lake. We love walk on but this location was so freaking crazy no one know what was going on. They thought that we got our boom boom and waffle fries. Took over 30 minutes for my wife drink to come out. When we got the boom boom shrimp it did not taste like the other location. They allow kids running and yelling inside. We wont go back. If you want great food, in a timely manner go down 99 to Kuykendall sevice is always amazing food comes out correctly. Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheel chair ramp outside. The lower dining room has stairs on one side and wheel chair ramp.

We tried this restaurant for the first time this evening, it exceeded our expectations. The customer service was above and beyond. Our server, Jameson, was one of the best we ve had in a long time. Came on a Thursday night with no big games taking place. We were told it would be a20-25 minute wait even though there were plenty of open tables. After waiting forty minutes a larger party that came in 15 minutes after us was seated ahead of us. When I asked why I was told by the hostess that they seated them first because they complained. Update: They never reached out. We were seated immediately. Our server brought us our drinks (great start). 15 minutes pass, our server is MIA. They show up and we order our appetizers. After a few minutes, a random server brings us our food. They didnt offer refills on our drinks, they didnt offer any condiments, and they did not bring us silverware. We had to go on a escapade to find our own silverware. We finish our food, in hopes to order another round of water and our food. Our server is MIA. Mind you, while looking for our silverware we noticed the place was empty, maybe four other parties. Eventually after a good hour, our server shows up. At this point, we just wanted to leave. We were disappointed by the service. On another note, I did not enjoy the young men playing basketball (yes, they employes) or group of severs cheering them on. Oh, and clean your restrooms.

I love the place coz it s close to me; food was ok. Service was horrible and we were sitting at the bar. The waitresses just kept on passing us by; we had to order at least 3x with different waitresses. The last beer we ordered never came. Not sure if I would come back.
