This place is a joke at best. Decided to take my family and friend out to dinner here. We were seated and sat for 30 minutes, no drink orders taken, no food, not even water. Its a little frustrating watching every table around you get served as you sit there hungry. The looks on the staffs faces when we all walked out was priceless #Dobetter

Second best Tex-Mex in Conroe not quite like my hometown Mexican food and homemade goodness, but still a strong contender. 4 stars because it was a bit too salty for me, but hey, some people like their food with a side of high blood pressure. Expect your dinner to come on two plates not more food, just a fancier presentation. The place has a great Mexican vibe and décor straight out of a real Hacienda. We got seated right away, even though it was packed with three large parties. The service was so good, our waiter might have been a mind reader. I dont drink, but the drinks looked so tempting I almost reconsidered my life choices.

It was relatively quiet at 11:30am. A nice atmosphere. Excellent service. My friend and I were served a complimentary small dish of white queso with refried beans and chips. It was so good, we asked our server if we could have another dish- which he promptly delivered. We were also served chips and a good warm salsa. I ordered the lunch beef fajitas with grilled onions and flour tortillas, with pico de gallo and chunky guacamole, and rice and charra beans. The beef was fairly tender and seasoned well. And the lunch portion was very substantial. My friend ordered the same lunch, except he had the chicken and beef combo and corn tortillas. We said we would come back here again. Parking: There are only 2 handicap parking spots on the side of the restaurant, and a rather long walk to the entrance. Theres plenty of parking; you would think there would be more handicap spaces in the front. Theres a Long ramp to the left of the entrance, which seems not to be of much use unless youre dining on their large outdoor patio.

I usually go there for lunch because dinner prices are a little high. They have a great lunch menu and I love the little free appetizer of chips with beans an queso on top that they bring to your table. It isnt a lot, but it is a nice touch. Food is good and the staff are very attentive.

The staff and food never disappoints, but it seems to always be hot inside. The air conditioning is amazing when you walk in the door, but the middle room is where we all always seem to sweat. We have mentioned it the last 3 times. I know it may not be helped, but so many renovations have been made on the inside and out, I feel the air should be addressed first, but if you can stand the heat when its super crowded....the food, staff and manager are always on point!!!! I will ask to be seated closer to the front from now on.

A good tasting and looking meal. There was an ingredient missing from the dish but it was quickly and attentively resolved by our waitress, without us even mentioning it. The atmosphere is one that transports you to a Spanish hacienda in a tale of yesteryear. Worthy of a second visit.

This has been a favorite restaurant for us for several years, but our visit last Tuesday night has us considering other Mexican restaurants to patronize. Food and service were far below their usual standard. Food orders were wrong, and the fajitas came without tortillas. Our food was cold by the time we could finally flag down a servicer to come to our table. There werent a lot of people in the restaurant, which was unusual as well. A visit 2 weeks ago was disappointing as well. Im not sure what is going right now...

Despite the large group, our server handled it with grace despite being overloaded with tables. While we did return a margarita due to it being overly sweet, they promptly replaced it. The coconut margarita was exceptional, and the patio atmosphere was delightful. Wed definitely come back for those two highlights.

I really wanted to give this place a better review but my wife and daughter and I waited 30 minutes for sodas and 50 minutes for an appetizer that was only half of what we ordered. We drove by this place many times and saw good reviews but the food was bad and the service was far worse. When the waitress brought us the appetizer she acknowledged that it was wrong and left it on the table. I assumed that she was headed back to the kitchen to fix it but 20 minutes later no one was back to take care of anything. We decided to leave and go else where. On the way out our waitress met us and the door and smiled us all the way outside. Hacienda may have been good at some point but those reviews don t apply at this point. Poorly prepared food, Long wait times, Inattentive staff and Zero desire to provide any type of positive experience. Buyer beware.

We arrived were seated in a timely manner. Had a server ask what we would like to drink. Then after the manager came and asked us what we would like to drink since we had been waiting for 15 minutes already. A sweet tea and a frozen margarita. Still took 30 minutes to get a frozen margarita. But first they bring a Margarita on the rocks. Then 30 minutes later we get to order. Another 30 minutes later our food comes. I get the cold plate of mine which was a taco and he said your warm plate will be out shortly. As no one came by to check on us and 20 minutes later I still hadn t received my warm plate. Flagged down the manager and told her. She said oh I saw it sitting there and was wondering. Would you like me to pack it up to go for you. No. I m past ready to go I d like my check. Ok. I ll comp your meal. It was horrible experience and our first time there. Definitely will not be back. Tacos tasted bland and so did my boyfriend s food. Enchiladas. Not worth your time or hard earn money.

Guy was not the best and it didn t help that the speaker was extremely loud. On top our server was super short and rude.. I don t know if she was having a bad day or what but you don t treat customers like that. We had to constantly ask for basic stuff that I ve never had to request before.

Large group of 12. Wait staff are very attentive and friendly! The food is GREAT and very reasonably priced. The orders were taken quickly and not a single error was made for our entire group! The mixed drinks are very well made and everyone in our group enjoyed them very much. The atmosphere is festive, lively, and comfortable. I would highly recommend Hacienda Mis Padres to anyone looking to have a great time while dining! DEFINITELY worth more than 5 stars!

When this restaurant first opened it was great! Now, food is way over priced, and the quality was horrible. One of our friends ordered the fish, it smelled almost rotten, and tasted awful. This is a good Tex-Mex restaurant. The house margarita is good and served in a square glass a fun touch. The gravy on the enchiladas is really tasty. The salsa is flavorful. The birria tacos are different from what I ve had before because they are served in a soft tortilla (not fried) with shredded beef and the juice or broth from the cooked meat is served in a bowl for dipping. Oh, and there is a full sized saddled horse in the restaurant. Israel was our waiter and he was so interesting and fun!

Gold standard in Gulf Coast Mexican. Carnitas Burrito tonight. Tender juicy pork, covered in melted cheese and smothered in green sauce that was super savory with a very mild scoville level. Charro beans! Yes please! Delicious beans with appreciable size bacon chunks and just the right amount of salt. Frozen margarita- little on the sweet side, delicious but one is plenty. Caution One jumbo house margarita will put you close to an illegal BAC, so plan accordingly. A single jumbo had me singing Tina Turner all the way home -much my wifes chagrin. Buen trabajo muchachos! The hostess sat us in a corner booth that only had room for a small child to squeeze into. The service was terrible due to drink refills and checking to see if you needed anything. The wall next to where the booth was covered in sticky soda that was splashed on it. My daughter had a hair in her food and my shrimp was burnt inside my tacos. Its the FIRST impression, that LEAVES a LASTING impression. Walked in, family was greeted and seated. I am visibly pregnant and needed to wash my hands. The hostess, I assume, was directed to clean the restrooms, right before I walked up to the restroom door. She put the trashcan outside of the ladies restroom, and as we made eye contact, she told me Theyre closed because I have to do what I have to do right now. I turned around and walked to my table. Asked my mother in law for hand sanitizer and held my bladder till I got home. Which again, is HARD to do when youre pregnant. It was my first time there, and probably my last. You can find good food when youre looking for it. You could find it here if you dont mind someone being a little rude.

The food was delicious and came out fast after ordering. The drinks were fantastic, and we had a great, knowledgeable bartender. Service was impeccable and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great dining experience.

Really good salsa Really good beans. They bring a special chip with beans and queso to the table it s super tasty the food is normal tasty Tex-mex. The prices were pretty good I will definitely go back just for the salsa and chips. And the extra chip thing they bring to the table. Oh yeah we had churros too. And they were yum

This is the place Ive been looking for. I come from living in Houston where places like this are everywhere, but since Ive moved to Montgomery I couldnt find a good Mexican food spot to save my life. I found it today! The food was great and well priced and the service was just as good. I got the Monterey dinner which was amazing and brought home a chicken quesadilla to my kid and she loved it said it was the best she had out here.. I will be back every time I want Mexican food from now on. Just wish I could find good Chinese food now lol.

Service is always good, food is consistent. The inside is a little cozy at times but we like to go for the patio. I do wish they had a real and consistent drink happy hour but its more like specials of the day which the staff never seems to know.

I enjoyed a delicious hot Tex-Mex breakfast on a cool fall morning. My scrambled eggs were excellently prepared with jalapenos, peppers, and onions and served with 3 streaming hot, house-made corn tortillas. What a tasty way to start a Saturday!
