Everything I ve had here is good! Some notes: -Customer service is almost always lacking. Employees could be friendlier and more personable, but they get the job done. -I wish there was frozen fruit instead of fruit juice in their smoothies. -Coffee could be higher quality, but it s a semi-automatic machine in a gym restaurant- not a craft coffee shop!

This was the first time Ive eaten here, and wow. Ive been in the Hospitality industry for over 30 years, and the customer service I experienced was above 5 stars. The food is amazing, but the service is impeccable. I will definitely be back in the near future to try even more of their menu.

This place is really amazing. I was unaware that this was a rock climbing place with a restaurant. I thought it was a restaurant with rock climbing. Theres a big difference. The food however, was great and the service was really great. My daughter did some climbing and Gabe was super helpful. We will definitely be going back for foodband climbing! Ive tried most everything off of their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Their award winning burgers are well deserving of their accolades, the pizza is over fired and always full of flavor, and even their drinks like smoothies and stuff are on point. Throw in a friendly staff and a crazy climbing atmosphere and its perfect.

The pizza crust was really good, it had a bit too much sauce for my 4 year old but we scraped a bit off and it was fine. I had the Hueco burger which was so delicious. Nice and spicy/flavorful. Fries were natural cut. Service was friendly and quick. It was nice to have such good food options in between climbing!!

We have been eating at 5ate basically since it opened. It is well deserving of the awards they have gotten. A cant miss is the butter garlic kale burger, it has been consistently awesome. We also at the bacon date goat burger today and it was a nice combination as well. The buns are English muffin like but a little softer. The fries are larger so they are not very crispy but are tasty. Ohh and its in a climbing gym!

I wouldve loved to give more stars...Carla was very friendly, courteous and had the patience of Job, however, there were a few things that overshadowed the team M.V.P. 1) Food safety- a) No one preparing the food had on food service gloves. Sticking your hand in a bag of uncooked food to put in the fryer is a definite no. b) Placing your hand on the cooked food, wiping your hands on your clothing, and back to the food is a NO. Side Note: the house manager did come out and address my concerns, although appreciated, for the hefty$35.00 for 2 burgers and fries, it was a little too late. 2) I ordered the Vegetable burger and it was definitely not worth a repeat visit. I basically had a mashed black bean sandwich. The edges were crisp but the inside fell completely apart. The taste was nothing to be desired. The other sandwich ordered was a beef burger. I was told it was on the level between BK & Whataburger. The bacon was a plus, and the English muffin bun was decent. The original fries were good. The garlic fries were not so good...it contained charred pieces of fresh garlic and no seasoning. At this point, I will not be returning.

If you ve slept on Ate Cafe, it s time to wake up! They have some of the best pizza I ve ever had. My favorite being the fresh jalapeño and ground beef with extra cheese. They have personal size, all the way to large. I ve tried their burgers and tenders with fries (equally delicious). Try their homemade jalapeño ranch to dip on the side. Yum! Carry out or make a day/night of it with family add rock climbing to your experience. Either way, you ll thank me later! Love this local joint!

So I tried the shar-warma burger with veggie pattie and cheese pizza. That burger was not for me..at all. Threw it away and the pictures of the pizzas on the reviews arent what I got. I got a flat pizza (like New York Style flat). Im noticing many places have pictures of thick bread and whatnot but its all flat.Ugh. I gave 2 stars because the food was prepared and did not look like it was old. I wasted my money unfortunately. Threw the pizza away too. Dont want flat bread. I think its worth trying for other people, not for me. Next time I ll try a regular burger with veggie pattie, thank you staff for assisting me. =)

OMG! So glad my coworker told me about this place! The minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a warm welcome from staff. Staff recommended me on multiple delicious menu items! I got the buffalo chicken & bacon sandwich AND It was soooooo yummy! Every bite! Along with that I had the garlic fries! And a refreshing house salad with their homemade dressing. So I walk in only wanting a simple 9 pepperoni pizza. The woman behind the counter says shell be with me in a minute. It was a little busy so that was fine. But she leaves me to continue waiting and waiting without further acknowledging my existence. Did she really think I just walked in to look at her? We had a great lunch! Read all the great reviews on here and decided to try it out. My husband ordered the Farmhouse Burger. He said it was very good. They have trophies for this particular Burger is what our hostess told us. I ordered the buffalo chicken strips and they were great also. The food are staff are both great. I ordered the farmhouse burger and it was one of the best I ve ever had. I asked for the pork belly to be removed and they did so. They then hold me that the pork and beef were cooked on the same grill and I asked if they could clean it, which they did. Best burger in the area! I got the avocado butter bacon burger but exchanged the bacon for pork belly and my husband had the farmhouse burger. The bun is amazing, its soft but stands up to all the juices from the burger. The staff was all super sweet and attentive. My only slight change would be a tad more seasoning on the party, salt in particular. But still overall fantastic!

I found 5 Ate Cafe on an online list of the best pizza place in every state or something like that. Im glad it was near me now that I live in Houston. They are located in Spring right off of I-45 in a rock climbing place (I intend to go back for the wall) On the way back from Dallas I stopped to see if it is infact the best pizza in Texas. (They close at 9 so I drove with purpose) I ordered the Italian supreme on the phone and when I arrived there staff was very friendly. I took the pizza home with me (I live near downtown) so it was not hot anymore however I was impressed on the taste of the pizza and texture/ taste of crust. Great pizza! Great Customer service!

Great variety of toppings and the burger was well made. Got a veggie patty in the sweet and smokey. Veg patty was a Morningstar black bean patty. So, it was good, but for a $15 (!!!) burger, Id expect a homemade patty. Unique surrounds, being in an open air rock gym. A lot of kids, too.

Super good burgers. Very juicy, rich and full of flavor. I was actually stuffed after eating my burger and barely had room for my salad. The salad was very nice though and I like the flavored teas. I tried my friends fries and they were very tasty as well. All the food is fresh and takes a little while to prepare so if youre starving start with some hummus or a salad. The cafe area itself is pretty small and nothing fancy, but the food is solid. Id definitely go back.

Inspire Rock, a rock-climbing gym that houses 5.ATE, is a great environment for kids birthday parties and millennial exercise. But its a strange setting for a restaurant. A basic snack bar would be expected, but what you get at 5.ATE is a gourmet offering. The fresh-made english muffins they use for buns are fantastic. Ive tried several burgers and all are terrific. Their pizza is really good. Eventually, this place should get its own freestanding location outside of a gym, but for now its worth the off-the-beaten path trek. Limited seating, so not great for large groups.

Great place for a quick bite to eat in a fun rock climbing environment. A nice variety of hamburgers, sandwiches and pizzas. Smoothies and different coffees available. This cafe is not great for very large parties, minimal seating area.
