Food was mediocre at most for Tex-Mex. There was only one girl serving waiting tables so getting drinks or anything else was almost impossible. The chips were crumbs and I had to ask for some more chips. Refills on the drinks you will have to chase the server down. I dont plan to go back.

This place is absolutely delicious. The green sauce was the most refreshing and delicious green sauce I have ever had in my life. Service was great super friendly and helpful. Food from chips and salsa to enchiladas and burritos was fantastic. But again the green sauce. Idk what is in it but it was amazing

This location is quiet. The wait staff is very attentive and hospitable. The food is AMAZING! My dish was served with fresh homemade tortillas. I was blown away by the flavors in this dish. Im sorry for the messy plate pic. I started eating and it all was so good. My margarita was on point as well. The best part is the price. Overall I will go back again and again.

Just picked up a to go order, first time eating from this restaurant. The food was very bland. Within ten minutes of eating less than half my meal and throwing the rest away, my stomach began to voice its objections to what I had just forced upon it. Ten minutes later I threw up. Bland, overpriced food that your stomach will return upon delivery.

Ive been wanting to try this place for a while. My husband and I went on a Saturday and sadly, the food was disappointing. My husband ordered a tea and got a coke refill, so they charged another $3+. Our drinks were more expensive than the food we got. This is more Tex Mex and it was mediocre. There are definitely better places to eat.

The fish tacos are the best tacos Ive ever had; served with guacamole rice and beans oh yeah!; thats all I get!; my inlaws get the chicken fingers and chicken straps which is very filling!; I think they use the whole chicken breast because it is not thin strips of chicken!; the chicken is like the size of a fish filet and theres more than one!. The bar is nice and small!, reminds me of an old western tavern if Im being honest!; the drinks are not watered down, and there are plentyful options to chose from!, salute!. Parking: There is a welcome home!; style parking lot, its spacious also quaint. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is a family establishment and the whole family can enjoy meals from lunch to dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: There are multiple places after parking where you can roll on up to the entrance as you admire some outside nature decor plus an aloe plant!.

We went on July to try this restaurant and will be the last time! The chips were very greasy and got pieces of chips that could not be eaten. When we got our food mine tasted as if I were eating dish soap. My granddaughter s tostadas were not good cause as she picked one up it was dripping some kind of liquid. Tostadas should not have this. I know I will not recommend this place to anyone. Too, I guess this is why the food is cheap.

Don t even waste your money here I went and got a caldo de pollo it had no flavor at all wasted 12 dollars and then I look at the bill they charged me a dollar for water and asked for sliced jalapeños they charge 1.50 honestly not worth it at all. First time ever going here today, figured we would give it a try. We are very PICKY when it comes to our Mexican food places we like. The salsa was VERY good and served hot (temp) wise which we like. We also got the large queso and it comes with Taco meat on the side to add into it at no extra cost which is nice. My husband got the carne asada and I got the fajitas (lunch portions) we left stuffed and still had some to take home after. The customer service was phenomenal. We never had to wait around and ask for anything multiple people asked is there anything they can get us and or help us with and that usually doesn t happen at most restaurants. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: The servers interacted with the baby as kept her smiling

My husband and I have eaten here quite a few times and the food has always been delicious. Today, however, was not the case and it was disappointing. Chimichanga meat was dry and tasteless. Beans were to mushy, like they were from the bottom of pot. 1 teaspoon of sour cream was not nearly enough. Tomatoes on the side tasted old, they had that taste. Wait staff were friendly as always and the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean!! Today was not a great eating experience, but we will return to try again sometime.

Not worth the money. Chips were stale. Salsa was not flavorful. My husband ordered the Tortuga plate (with chicken). The portions were extremely small (hardly any meat at all). I ordered the queso flamedo with beef. The beef pieces were thin and didn t even compare to the size of my palm. The queso was supposed to come with mushrooms. It did not. And the waiter told me the dish would come with tomato and lettuce. The portion of both the lettuce and tomato was minuscule. All in all, the majority of both meals were just fillers. Beans and rice were also plain. And the service was not good. Very slow.

I definitely had better food .. service was not great . When my daughter told me her taco smelt funny I told (I m assuming the manager since he had a different color shirt than the others) that the meat had a sour smell to it and my daughter said it tasted funky too he shrugged his shoulders and said well nobody else has complained and we have been very busy today so idk .. that was EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE and VERY INCONSIDERATE OF HIM !!! Just because of that response I will never be coming back .. if you guys want excellent food and great customer service I recommend Angie s on Frazier . Ladies there are sweet and food is delicious.

I ordered enchiladas, which wasnt that great at all. When I first got there, no one greeted me, I had to literally find my way to the back and wait for someone to assist me. Once the young lady assisted me today, she took my payment, gave me the receipt and walked away. Had a team of servers who where attentive and helpful keeping my Sweet tea full. The sour cream enchiladas slapped hard with a rice and beans and a nice Pico/lettuce mix to add some greens to the mix. I have eaten here quite a bit. The food is usually good and the waitstaff is almost always not good. Went for lunch this week and I waited at the table for almost 15 minutes for someone to take my order, and it wasnt even busy. The waitress was very dismissive and never even looked me in the eye. She brought my food and I never saw her again. Never got a refill on my drink or asked if I wanted more chips. The queso was barely warm and the enchiladas were dry. Then I had to finally flag someone down after waiting 15 minutes for my check. Most of the reviews here complain about the waitstaff. Maybe the management should take notice and do some more training or something.......

Pleasantly Surprised! I ve had some bad experiences lately so I looked for a new place to get good TexMex Food and wound up here. Salsa is fresh, made in house and served warm. Yes! My dinner plate was well portioned and a good value. Lots of variety on the menu. Service was kind and friendly. Got seated at 2:05, order was taken at 2:20. I ordered the enchilada plate, chicken, with extra cheese. The waiter repeated the order and he had it right. What I got was two little taquito size rolled tortillas with a little cheese in the middle, no chicken. My son had the burrito, he also had one coke with refill and we were charged almost $3 for each of the drinks. All total, for this and an appetizer of jalapeño poppers we paid over $35. Would not recommend, not worth the money.

There food is good. I brought a friend and her two kids and they were extremely accommodateing, and patient. Truly polite and friendly. Cust service top notch. One thing I would change red salsa if it was like pico all would be right with the world.

I come to Conroe quite frequently and love Mexican food and triedl several in the area. Anitas was fantastic food at reasonable prices.The only thing that is not good is the service. The waitresses were not very friendly.but service was ok and that is why i gave it 4 star instead of 5.

This place needs more love! Check them out for your next lunch or dinner. Hidden in the strip near Specs. Starter: some of the better salsa and green sauce from any Mexican restaurant around. Food prices are in a great range AND the portion sizes are satisfying. Tortilla soup is great!

After living in San Antonio for 20 yrs and eating at every Mexican restaurants this is the best. The enchilada sauce by far the best. The wait staff was excellent! I still want Puffy Tacos and Garditas please add to men he. Ill be back.
