I had the wonderful experience of having my wedding at this venue. From our first visit with Makenzie to our final exit we had such a great experience. The staff is so nice and friendly and ensure that you have all the information to make your special day magical. In searching for a venue it was important for me to find a place that was LGBTQ friendly. We experienced such kindess and support from all of the staff and workers at the facility. This meant so much to me and my wife. One of the things that I really liked about the venue is the opportunity to use your own vendors, but the venue also offers in house vendors you can work with for your special day. When I was looking for venues I wanted one with two grand stairwells and space that would make me feel like I was in a fairytale. The Springs Events Venue at Cypress had those elements an so much more! It offers remarkable views around the entire grounds! There is a stunning garden space for outdoor ceremonies and events. You also have a beautiful view of their pond that is home to adorable koi fish and turtles. Another feature I aboustley adored at this venue was the suites for the special couple. My wife and I were able to get ready comfortably and have our first look using the Romeo and Juliette style doors on the balcony. It was such a special moment for us to share our private vows to one another. We loved this venue so much we are looking forward to planning future events there! I would highly recommend them for any special event or occasion you want to be magical and stress free! My wife and I attended our granddaughters wedding yesterday. They had hired a team of 2 photographers and a videographer but that didnt stop me from taking a few pictures. Got some shots of the happy couple during the ceremony and one of my other granddaughter who was a brides maid. Used both my regular camera and my infrared converted one.

So I scheduled a tour with them and they didnt show up or even respond to my text that we arrived and then later went inside. On top of that there was a wedding being set up, so we felt awkward and in the way. We did look around at what we could, so that we didnt waste our time and gas money. I do think pictures make it look prettier than it is in real life.

We attended the tasting of their caterer. All the entrees were delicious, esp the pork tenderloins with raspberry sauce. The wine selection by Corn & Rye was very good. Great photo booth that will print ad mant strips as there are people in the photo. Outdoor area was lovely with fountain in the pond, gazebo, and very nice enclosed ceremony space.

This is the second time I m coming here for a wedding and both times we had a lovely experience. This is a beautiful venue with a nice outdoor and indoor space. Yes, they could probably use some paint touchups and a few things here or there, but if you are there to celebrate a happy couple, you probably won t notice anything other than the smiles on their faces. Great amount of space both upstairs and downstairs, the restrooms are clean and the ladies room had great amenities. Parking is also smooth, and there s lots of picturesque spots on the property.

Let me start by saying that this venue hosted my mom s 60th birthday, and we had an absolute blast. It was the perfect place for her, with the perfect seating arrangement to accommodate her guests. The chairs and tables were easy to dress up, adding to the overall appeal. I truly appreciate the owner for assisting us in breaking down the tables, which made cleaning up a breeze. The music was fantastic though we had to bring our own DJ, the sound quality was excellent. Despite Houston s typically hot weather, the venue was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room for tables, food, and even a small bar area. Although we only had non-alcoholic drinks, the bar added a nice flair to the event, along with the cake and treats. The only minor drawback was the requirement to clean and set up the tables ourselves, which took some time. Additionally, the owner charges an extra fee for early setup, which was not previously discussed. However, everything else was phenomenal. It would be helpful if this detail was communicated upfront for better customer experience. For those booking this venue, be aware of the nearby train tracks, which can delay guests. I recommend advising your guests to use 45 and then come up through 99 to bypass any potential train delays. Overall, I highly recommend this Black-owned venue in Houston. It should be at the top of your list if you re looking for an easily accessible and beautifully accommodating event space. *Honored by Lovely Is Your Story. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! So included in a forest-like setting. The house / event center is truly outstanding to behold. It looks like something out of a Disney movie or French Manor. The wedding we attended occurred in the outdoor area / pavilion surrounded by trees during sunset. It was fantastic. The acoustics were great in the interior of the chateau and the lighting and ambiance was just what should be expected.

I booked with them almost 2 years ago and communication was on point the whole time through email and texting. Literally got a response immediately or within 12 hours every time. This was the first venue I toured and fell in love immediately. I think I subconsciously judged every other venue I visited afterward to the Springs Event Venue in Cypress and I realized that it was for me. Makenzie, Brianne, and Peyton are a great team!

We had the pleasure of utilizing the springs cypress event venue for our wedding day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, inside and outside with many picture worthy areas. The required bar service and security services are top notch. The venue staff were very responsive via text and email with any questions my now husband and I had. The 15 hour venue access and other amenities were great for what we needed. Recommend the Springs for special occasions!

It truly is beautiful I just have some complaints. Make sure to read the contract in full before making a deposit or signing it because they have very strict policies and that might interfere with any DIY ideas. The monthly payments you make to the venue have an extra charge because of the company they use to process their payments. So even if it says no hidden fees just be aware that it s at least an extra $20 a month. Read the fine print so that you re informed about the damage deposit, fees to process card, etc. The staff is great and very nice. I will say they do ask if they can record or post content from the wedding, I chose no because why should their marketing benefit from my event after I spent thousands to rent it for one day? My opinion. I like that they let me have outside vendors such as my mom cook the food and my sister do my hair.

Such a gorgeous venue for our daughters wedding! The bride and grooms changing rooms were spacious for our wedding party. The venue is very well maintained with some visually stunning outdoor backdrops for wedding pictures. On site staff was available but non-intrusive. The wedding planner was on a list recommended by the venue and they were top notch, which for this venue, you will definitely need as all services from bar, food, to music, flowers etc all need to be outsourced. If you want to do a rehearsal the day before the wedding, it is an additional charge and based on availability. (We did the rehearsal before the actual ceremony on the wedding day) Only negative was having to end the reception by 10:30 per the venue contract (things were just getting going!), Also, read the fine print in the contract, that you are responsible for making sure the venue is free of garbage (including flower petals) or additional charges may be incurred. Luckily, out wedding planner oversaw that. Overall, we were very pleased.

I attended a wedding at the venue. It is worth the drive (I live 50 minutes away). It is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful with a grand entrance, majestic mansion, beautiful pond and area for outdoor weddings, gorgeous wide terrace and elegant indoors. It is huge! The wedding I attended was held outdoors in the Pavillion area, then cocktails on the stone terrace while the wedding party took photos, then reception indoors. Beautiful sweeping staircases and elegant spacious bathrooms. Its everything you want!

Decent venue but horrible service and multiple family members felt as though this venue was discriminating due to skin color. I think hospitality and service are the MOST important, which is why I m giving this one star. Wouldn t host an event here again. Ren provided horrible customer service on the night of our event. The janitorial staff was also aggressive and rude towards my family. Some guests at our event unexpectedly, and without permission, decided to drop confetti to celebrate the newlyweds. We were not told this would be happening and it was a surprise for the bride and groom from one of the families who attended. Ren told us we had to clean ALL the confetti off the floor or they would keep our deposit. So we stayed back for an hour using regular sized dustbins and brooms to pick up confetti in almost the entire venue. We pretty much got our family of 7-8 people and cleaned the floors entirely for an hour or so and even wiped down the areas where they mentioned a vendor has placed some tape. We basically cleaned it for them. We were all exhausted and tired after 3-4 days of wedding planning and 12 hours of hosting. Later we find out the janitorial staff was going to clean anyway and had vacuum cleaners + commercial sized brooms. We questioned Ren to ask her why we had to clean so much upon her multiple requests despite her knowing there was cleaning staff who would need to sweep either way and perhaps could ve let us use the vacuum cleaners or commercial brooms to save us time. When my father raised a concern, one of the male janitors aggressively behaved towards him and acted as though he wanted to incite violence. He was trying to provoke my father in front of sheriffs who were doing security at the venue. The decor staff was also going to take a couple hours to clean up and pack their items and ended up leaving a few things behind. Ren told us we could not leave until they took these items with them, something that wasn t at all in our control. And if it took longer than 1am, we would be charged more. We had to shove these items in our trunk and take them with us simply to be able to leave the venue with our deposit. Appalling. I cannot believe I had to witness all this and I got it all on video. I hate to say this but the janitor should be fired. I take pride in southern hospitality and that s far from what I witnessed today. Such a shame. I will update my review with pictures and video soon. If you book this venue, DO NOT PAY UP FRONT. Make sure you make a final payment after the event to avoid being in the same situation as us. Thanks for ruining a very special night for my family at the very end.

Are you looking for a Venue where you can take the vendors of your choice and where you do not have to pay liability for entering liquor or food? This is the correct one. In addition, on the day of your event, you will enjoy it to the fullest because its staff does not harass customers or vendors on the day of carrying out the event. For some reason, only half of the lights were ON outside the venue. The parking lot has light on one side while being completely dark on the other. The venue told us to finish packing up by midnight, so we had planned to end the event by 10 and give the vendors an hour or so to clean up. BUT because it wasnt the weekend, there was a bit of delay due to traffic. And since we had only paid for the officers to stay from 5 to 11 p.m., they chose to approach the bride and groom in the middle of their exit at 10:15 p.m. and inform them that they needed to wrap up and go. It was embarrassing everyone was uncomfortable and all the guests were confused thinking the newly weds did something wrong and are getting arrested. It turns out there was plenty of time for the vendors to come after. The vendors only requested an hour to clean up and the venue had the door open until midnight anyways. But only because the officers were paid until 11pm they made all this scene so they can get paid an extra hour. After the event ended the officers kept pressing on the family members to clean up faster. At the end the venue was all cleared up by 11:10pm. The whole scene and pressing on the family member was unnecessary, it seems like the only intention was to get paid for an extra hour. The officers won t wait until your time is up they don t care about you and will embarrass you next to your guests. So to be safe, be prepared to pay $1000 for their mandatory officers otherwise you will risk the embarrassment of getting arrested in front of your guests. The event had only 100 guests and no alcohol. The officers were useless and did nothing. It is understandable that it is the venue policy to have them and it s part of their business. But their actions & unprofessionalism ruined the whole wedding. We hope that their staff & officers respect the newlyweds in their happiest day ever and request for more money&tips after or before the event.

The Springs Cypress is an amazing wedding venue! We have an exceptional wedding. We knew when we first toured the Springs that we wanted to have our wedding there. We received numerous compliments from our guests regarding how beautiful the venue is. We had both our wedding and reception indoors and loved it! The room flip was very easy for our coordinator to do. The Springs is one of the best wedding venues in the Houston area and more affordable than most. This venue was great! From a photographers perspective, the lighting can be difficult. Make you are aware of the strict breakdown time, otherwise you may get associated with a fee for staying on the premises past the allowed time. So break down everything early. Only thing I wish this venue had was a arch for weddings. My couple was just in the middle of their stage which wasnt the most flattering and made the shots more difficult.

TERRIBLE SERVICES! Our wedding was on Sunday September 4th, 2022. The following day (Monday September 5th), we received an email from Makenzie requesting us to return the two 6-feet tables by Wednesday September 7th before 4pm or else we would get charged for damages (according to the contract policy, it is $500). We reached out to our venders and asked them if they took the tables, and every single one of them replied that they did not. Makenzies email frustrated us because it ruined our excitement after the wedding as we had to figure out what happened to the tables. We would take responsibility for the lost items only if there is proof that any of our guests took the tables which was extremely unlikely. So, on Wednesday September 7th, we had to drive back to the venue, offered to look for the tables around the premises, and spoke to the staff. After our failed attempt to retrieve the tables, we concluded: 1) The staff failed to check the security cameras before assuming that our people took the tables. They mentioned that the security footages have not been reviewed when we arrived. They should not send such emails to clients one day after the wedding if they have not done their due diligence first. This deeply frustrated us. 2) The staff failed to have an inventory log with dates and check/verify with signatures to keep track of when the items were missing. They had 2 other weddings that weekend and just assumed it was us because ours was the last one. However, clearly in the last email to us, they did not check with the other wedding parties prior to sending us that accusatory email. 3) The staff failed to establish a solid system to check-and-verify the inventory since there is only one maintenance person on-site responsible for this task. This happened to us, but clearly may have happened to many other newly Weds. Makenzie said the maintenance person should check the inventory after every event, but this clearly did not happen prior to ours. 4) Makenzie told us in person there was no wedding on Saturday (only Thursday and Friday). She said so very confidently that the tables must have gone missing after our event. We remembered that we wanted to book that Saturday for our wedding, but the date was taken by someone else. Its possible that it got canceled, but the Briannas email stated that two venders each took a table that weekend. They should verify first before saying inconsistent statements to clients. 5) The staff failed to pinpoint and investigate where the problem is, but rather sought the easiest way to charge the client for the damage deposit. This was a very unprofessional experience. 6) We are disappointed, frustrated, discontent with The Springs Cypress Event Venue services. We paid a considerable amount, and in return, got a stressful experience after our wedding. We were supposed to rest and enjoy our vacation, but we had to deal with the staffs unfounded accusations. We wasted three hours of our time time having to driving back-and-forth and talk to the staff after the wedding. 7) The policy needs a revision because it isnt fair for any client. There was no initiative by the team to resolve the issue. If we did not take our own initiative, we would have been unfairly charged. We will NOT recommend this place to anyone. There is many other beautiful wedding venues out there with better price and services.

The Springs was my dream venue for our wedding day. They have a great location and atmosphere. The castle look of the venue makes for a stunning scenery and great pictures. The best part about this venue was the time you allowed at the venue. Most venue do not allow you to be there until the afternoon but, The Springs allows you to have the venue for 12+ hours no extra fees. We were able to relax and get everything done at the venue up until the wedding started. I would definitely recommend this venue.

I had such an amazing experience with The Springs Events venue in Cypress. Professional team, excellent response time, and beautiful venue. I searched far and wide for a venue for my wedding and was very picky about what I was looking for and the experience I wanted with the venue team. The Springs far exceeded my expectations! This was top of our list and we were so happy to have secured the venue for our big day. From open houses to periodic check in emails, the team made everything so easy. Anytime I had a simple question, the ladies were just a text or email away. The best part was that our guests felt like they had multiple venues within one venue to enjoy our day with us and the amount of compliments we got after have been incredible!
