Great sandwich, and very good service. Food came out quickly and was fresh and well prepared. The only minus was they had CNN or similar on and had Joe Biden yelling and carrying on about how he manhandled Donald Trump in the debate. Yeah ok, we all watched. It was Joe Biden that was manhandled. I dont know why any place would have him on the TV at full volume while working people are trying to enjoy lunch. I cant stand any politicians and especially Biden. Turn that off

I come here regularly during slow hours and each time Ive been met with 2 different Hispanic ladies. Neither of them seem to have any patience whatsoever and very clearly would rather be elsewhere. When I wanted to get clarification about what they were asking, they simple looked at me like I was dumb and repeated the same exact question but slower. Im not deaf nor am I slow by any means. I heard the question and wanted clarification. Theyre the very opposite of welcoming.

Visiting from out of town and found this gem!! I am a foodie and this place is legit. First let me say that all those that gave it a 1-star are remedial. They make the food fresh so don t show up right before closing time and expect to get food. They stay open until 8pm so if you want to stop by for ice cream, fresh baked cookies or after dinner treat they have it. Also, for their catering, don t expect to get a pan of Mac and cheese that is fresh out of the oven. It can spoil so they have to freeze it. And for those that are used to eating fast food and overprocessed junk, of course you wouldn t be used to eating fresh baked bread and fresh home-cooked ingredients so don t waste your time coming in if you re gonna expect to get McDonald s quality. Now on to the food, it s the best burger because of the fresh baked buns with a hint of sweet. Jalapeño bread is another option. Fresh lettuce, tomato and onions, ketchup is in an old school diner bottle so you can perfectly dispense the ketchup on your sandwich. Potato Salad is amazing, Mac n Cheese is very tasty and French fries have a nice seasoning. Blue bell ice cream yes please Banana Pudding double yes please Fresh Baked cookies Fresh Lemonade If I lived in Conroe, I would never go to any other burger place again Vegetarian options: Salads Parking: In a big plaza with a lot of parking Kid-friendliness: Decor, kid friendly food, can be loud and not a bougie place Wheelchair accessibility: Can wheel in and tables are spaced out enough to maneuver around

Overpriced food!! Small quantity and just over priced! You can go to a nice restaurant for the same price!! When I approached and asked the man working the register (which I was later informed is the owner) about prices (4 sandwiches with fries 4 drinks $63) he became standoffish and seemed annoyed I was asking for a receipt. It was beneficial for him that he no longer had the receipt and couldnt get one! Moral of the story, make your own sandwiches and save lots of money!! Or go to Salt Grass higher food quality and pay the same amount.

Not happy, the reason we even stopped at this place was because we had a gift card. $70 dollar gift card, we wanted to use it to share with friends. Purchased an$85 dollar ham, and we ordered $27 Mac and Cheese tray (thinking it was ready to eat) and jalapeño rolls, thought we were good, opened the Mac and cheese tray once we got home and it was frozen, intructions said it needed to be thawed for 24 hrs before cooking, knew instantly was not going to be ready for dinner. I wish at checkout they would have told us that s the Mac and cheese was frozen solid and couldn t be served right away with our ready to eat ham, paid an additional $55 dollars for frozen Mac and cheese and bread that was basically useless to eat, buyers beware when purchasing big orders and trays make sure it s not frozen or clarify you don t want it frozen . We would have gone back but we live too far.

There were two women taking orders when I visited. One was extremely unpleasant. The other woman sounded much nicer. The burgers had a unique, homemade, very tasty flavor to them, that has had me craving another since I have been here. The cajun turkey sandwich was delicious as well. It would be nice if someone here could be a little more mindful of how she speaks to customers! There was a stack of cups by the register and I didnt appreciate being told with an annoyed attitude the cups are over there (by the fountain) when I asked for one.

We ordered a hamburger, chicken and ham sandwich, fried Turkey sandwich, onion rings, fries, Mac and cheese, ice cream and banana pudding. The chicken and Turkey sandwiches were fantastic. The banana pudding was just as good as banana pudding can be. The onion rings were ok. The fries looked like frozen ready made seasoned fries and tasted like you would expect. The hamburger was awful. Greasy and zero flavor. I added some salt and it was a little better, but I only ate half. The Mac n cheese was horrible. It was watery and no flavor. The ice cream had ice crystals like it had thawed and got some freezer burn. The service was great though and the area was cozy and had a great mom and pop vibe.

We stopped in on our way out of town based on reviews and it being right off 45. Great options so some of us could eat healthy (GIANT salad), or not - the rest of us got burgers. I loved the bread and all around good flavor. Great value. Kids got their own big burgers, chips, big drink and a big scoop of blue bell ice cream (they had lots of flavor choices). Great stop! I m pleased and full. Next time I ll take advantage of their 2 for $10 deal. The owner moves a mile a minute but he was nice and gave me a stamp card. Idk if that was his wife but she made that vanilla shake with the hands of God so good the cookie too. False Advertising. The sign says 2 BUBBA BURGERS 2 SIDES 2 DRINKS 9.99. When ordered at the counter they tell you they are kids burgers not BUBBA BURGERS. The kids burgers are tiny. I told the cashier that their advertisement states BUBBA BURGERS. She said, it has never been BUBBA BURGERS it has always been the kids burger for 30 years and that they have never advertised in 30 years BUBBA BURGERS. The sign on the front of the building says BUBBA BURGER not kids burger. The menu says BUBBA means BIGGER and BETTER. The kids burger is called a hamburger on the menu and is not listed anywhere on the BUBBA BURGER section of the menu. When I brought this up, both cashiers humiliated me in front of my children and the other patrons in the restaurant. She basically asserted that I was lying about the advertisement. Once I convinced her to read the sign on the front of the store, her story changed. She said, we call all of our burgers BUBBA BURGERS and the owner is not going to change the sign. When I told her this was false advertisement, she denied it and told me to talk to the owner. Even when faced with evidence of their own menu and signage on the front window she still denied it. I do not appreciate being lied too and made a public spectacle in front on my children and other patrons. Sad their integrity and service is so beyond terrible, because the food was pretty ok.

We have long been fans of this hidden gem. They have great sandwiches and burgers. About a year ago we had terrible service from a teenage employee and had not been back since. Decided to give them another try. The service from the staff this time was WONDERFUL!! They were friendly and polite and helpful. Food was delicious as has always been the case. Not a bite or fry left when we finished. YUM The decor is very basic and something you would see from your great grandmother s kitchen. Funky wallpaper and very basic tables and chairs, paper signs etc. but that s alright. I will happily go somewhere for the food and service over decor. They do not itemize your receipt, so you do not know how much you are being charged on your meal unless you calculate it beforehand, and even then, it is not the correct amount. I found out I was overcharged over $1 on a $10 meal every time I have visited this place. Located in the Montgomery Plaza shopping center has the advantage of having ample parking. Inside the restaurant was a bit warm but not too uncomfortable. The hamburger and seasoned fries are good. The sweet it is some of the best I have had from a restaurant. The salads are pretty large. The prices are fair but the add-ons can make for a pricey burger. Ignore the bad reviews!! This place has THE BEST homemade food. I wouldnt recommend going late at night, as this is a sort of mom-and-pop-and-kid type restaurant that will occasionally close a bit early. Any other time, youre likely to have the place to yourself for a while. Service is quick and sweet, servings are big, and quality is excellent; all for the same price as a trip to Whataburger! It was great. A local mom and pop business run right. The owner working hard and steady behind the counter making sure all the orders are correct. Not taking a back seat and letting some uncaring teenager who cant provide change ruin his business. I love local businesses and this one definitely gets big marks for me. Had a ham and turkey sandwich. It was just not good. It seemed thrown together and really sloppy. I ordered fries and i think i counted 12. Just didnt seem like a good value. They were once a very good option, but Ill have to pass now.

Im new to this part of Conroe and was told about this little gem. I wish I had known about this place sooner. I love their burgers, especially with the jalapeno bun. Also, love their everyday deal from 4p-close. If youre new to the area or just looking for something different this is the place to go!

My first time here the owner was working food was great and service was good...,unfortunately my second visit was at night owner was not there...nobody was at counter to greet or take orders i almost walked out .then a young not so pleasant worker took our order after a long wait and only 2 other customers order came out the burger had no flavor and the bread was at least half inch around larger than burger and the bread tasted not cooked thorough.. the seasoned fries were horrible! Wont be back i went home and had to make something to eat. Really disappointed.

They have a sign that says voted best burger. They definitely have my vote. Looking for the local favorite? Well this is it! The Bubba burger is far and away the best burger in the county in my opinion. The Cajun Turkey is #2 and for the family the King ranch chicken.
