Incredible lunch meeting today! 6 of us each had something different from the menu. All were soooo delicious! Impecable food and service! Nice atmosphere. You gotta try them!

This tannins location is convenient to where I live but the service is not as good as the other one. It takes a while to get your drinks and especially any food. I ve been there a few times and they ve messed up my tab every single time. The band can be pretty loud to where it s hard to hear the person next to you so sit a bit further.

Its a great place to stop by for some drinks and appetizers. Their drinks are always we made and taste great! They have the right amount of alcohol and mixers. We have tried several different appetizers in our few trips here, and all are so delicious! You cant go wrong with anything you choose here. But the salmon crostini are a must try! They have great drink specials daily as well. Its perfect for a date night or a quick business meeting.

We have dined in 3 times and have had take out twice. The wait staff has always been very attentive and great attitude. Love the food and drinks. So glad the southside has another option.

Service was HORRIBLE!!! First we were told we had to reserve a table then told if there were no Reservations we had to wait 2 hours, the nanger came by and said we could be seated, ok fine. We had to go up and ask or order drinks at the bar because our waiter was never around. My husband had to open a tab at the bar just to get drinks, then was told he couldnt be ordering from the bar, even tho he opened up a tab there.

I have eaten at the other location many times and this is my first visit to their new location. Much bigger and brighter with open kitchen. Outstanding, just like the original location. Love the flat bread, wraps, and sandwiches! The tuna tower and crawfish egg rolls blew my mind. So good! The menu at the new location is much bigger. They also have a wonderful wine list and solid cocktail program. Staff is super friendly.

My friends and I were so excited when tannins was going to open their south side location because it s closer to both our houses . However we have gone now about four times . The first time was amazing but unfortunately every time after hasn t been great . This last time we waited 40 minutes for drinks (my husband ordered a coke ) and it took 40 minutes . Our server was so nice and professional but he was the only server working and the bar tender had a party at the bar that was taking up a lot of his time . We ordered food which also took very long to get (at least an hour ) . Mussels that we had ordered previously were delicious but they gave us half the serving . The ceviche was also a very small Portion for 15.99 . My friend ordered a chicken wrap and the chicken was so over cooler she couldn t eat it . My husband s burger the buns were so over cooked it was hard as a rock . We ate and left and unfortunately will not be returning . Again our server was so nice think his name was evin! So if you go please ask for him he s amazing. The atmosphere is very nice but if you re going for good food and good service this isn t the place to go .

I had a great experience and amazing food!! I went to dinner on Tuesday and ordered the garlic lemon salmon plate OMG it was amazing crunchy asparagus, perfectly cooked fish from service to food me and my partner had an amazing experience thank yall !!

Food was okay, the one on Alameda the food taste better and the presentation is way better at the old location. The new one is really nice and spacious. Service not great. The young girls didn t attend to us and took forever for anything. We had to keep calling out for them. I d rather go back to the first restaurant. Tried the new one twice and both times not as great has the older location.

Me and my husband Steve had pizza was delicious and my husband Steve had lamb he said was very good and a bread sliced in to dip in some great tasting oil with sort of seeds yummy . We both injoyed every bid , the service was excellent. Cant wait to go back and have brunch and dinner.

Nice place to hang out, but very expensive cocktails. Went there again on Tuesday night and we were looking forward to trying their Pizza. We were disappointed in the dough. It was hard and got harder as we ate through the pizza. We couldnt eat the last three pieces. I hope they change their dough recipe and process because it needs to soften up like pizza. Let me know when you make the change so I can try again.

It was really nice. Went for my birthday. There was another room to the back that was somewhat open to the main area, so we heard the live music, but it was private enough for our own little gathering. There was another family, a larger party, celebrating a birthday party as well. The semi-private room can easily accommodate about 30 ppl, maybe more. It was really a sweet night. The live entertainment sang us each our own Happy Birthday . Also, there were a handful of youngsters there, which gave a feel of a more relaxed setting, but with all the great perks of good food, drink, friends, & good times.

Service was great! Appetizers were ok, salmon was not cooked right. Seating around the barrels is so uncomfortable. Place is too small to allow the musician to have a speaker, we literally could not hear each other talk, unless we yelled. Our ears started to hurt, we left right after we ate. I really wanted to enjoy the place, since it s so close to home. Unfortunately, I won t be going back.

11-12-24 Visited the bar recently while completely sober. Unfortunately, the bartender mistakenly assumed I was drunk, leading to a situation where I felt taken advantage of with extra charges on my tab. Disappointing experience that needs improvement in customer assessment. My friend also encountered a similar situation at this bar. It seems there might be a pattern of misjudging sobriety, leading to uncomfortable experiences. Consistency in customer treatment needs attention for a more positive environment.

What a great step up from the old tried and true original version! I like my wine and beer but now I can have my Old Fashion! The 24oz ribeye with Buffalo Trace marinade was a fantastic addition to the menu. Live music rounded out a great evening! Better make a reservation if you show up late!

There is a certain blonde female employee? / owner?.at both locations who knows nothing about customer service and never seems happy to help.... Also for a bar called Tannins, they dont seem to know wine temperatures....Reds like Cab Sav, Merlot, etc..were warm not once but always...
