So sad, I used to love this place about 8 years ago. Brought my family and the children s lasagna was so over cooked they couldn t chew it! Ziti had not been made properly bc the cheese turned. I was hoping it was just us and my husband could turn it around. Turns out after 2 bites his was overwhelmingly salty. We re people pleasers, so we took the food to go, threw it out at the closest gas station. Disappointed

Very impressed. If you are one that likes the clam, mussel, shrimp woth linguine, well just get it here. I opted for the seafood 2 that was with fettuccine and it was awesome. Husband said his Italian combo was very good. Bread was excellent with wedding soup. Tea was perfect strength. Prices were on point and left full and happy.

Had the Carmel cheesecake last night and was very good. We love the food but last night on 9/6 my husband got parmasan chicken and paste and hes been sick sick 5 this morning. The only thing different was the chicken everything else we both had and Im fine. Just wondering if anyone else got the chicken last night and got sick. We eat here alot and never had any problems. Nice little Italian restaurant with paintings on the wall of scenes from Italy. Only issue we had was th waitress did not tell us that there was an upcharge for substituting red sauce for white sauce and we had to ask for refills on drinks. Other than that, its a nice place.

Very nice Italian restaurant, is a small business but the food is great, taste and quality are good, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is great no complaints they try to serve you good, I wasnt sure what to order, I mentioned to the waiter what I felt like having something spicy but wasnt familiar with the dishes, and what he suggested did not disappoint me. Over all nice little place for Italian, better food and better prices than the big chain places. I heard the food is fresh made from scratch. Their staring out salad is delicious.

I ordered gluten free pasta here Sunday and was told multiple times the dish was gluten free. Unfortunately, it was most certainly not gluten free. I got incredibly sick from the food. I m so sad because I was really excited to find a place so close to home that offered a gluten free pasta. Communication from wait staff was a little broken.

Family friendly restaurant. Wide variety menu, sure everyone can find something to choose. Service was fantastic and the food was better than average. We googled looking for an Italian restaurant in the area and we weren t disappointed. Definitely worth stopping in and giving a try. Also their garlic knots were awesome. I have eaten in the dining room and from take-out. The dinig room is a bit crowded. Not bad, but also not a good place for a romantic dinner. The service is solid, but not special. The food is very good. Anything savory is going to almost perfect. We enjoyed the canoli but found the tiaramissou to be a bit bland.We really enjoyed the foccia!

This place is always packed with cars so decided to try it. Went when it was rainy out, so it wasnt too busy. Service was fast. We were immediately seated and waited on. They start you off with rolls with butter, and those were pretty fresh. We started with the shrimp scampi, and it had such good flavor! The sauce was perfect for dipping the rolls in. Just trust me. Lol. We tried the meaty pizza they offered, and the pizza was really good! Had the perfect crisp, the right amount of sauce and ingredients tasted fresh. We ended with the lemon cake they offered, and it was too lemony to my liking. Its not too sweet, though, so if lemony is your thing, definitely try it. Overall, 10/10 recommend this place.

Good Food Marred by Delivery Issues This was our first experience with this restaurant, and unfortunately, the delivery process did not meet our expectations. We opted for delivery to our hotel, ordering a pizza and spaghetti. The restaurant uses a third-party delivery service through GrubHub, and this is where the complications began. The delivery was not executed as instructed. Our order was supposed to be handed directly to us, but instead, it was left outside our hotel room door. Due to a lack of accurate updates from the GrubHub app, which continuously indicated that our order was still in transit, the food sat outside for an hour without our knowledge. By the time we were alerted to a delivery issue by the app and contacted GrubHub, we were informed that it had already been delivered an hour prior. Upon discovering the food, we found it cold, which was disappointing, though it still tasted good. When we reached out to address the delivery issue with Grub Hub, seeking at least a refund for the delivery fee since the service was unsatisfactory, we were told that a refund was not possible because the order was not placed directly through GrubHub but through the restaurants online ordering system via Yelp which made Grub Hub a third-party vendor and for that reason they do not refund. While the food itself was satisfactory, even when not enjoyed at its best due to the temperature, the delivery experience significantly detracted from our overall satisfaction. We hope that the restaurant will consider addressing these issues with their delivery partner to ensure that future customers receive both their food and service that meets expectations. Despite the logistical hiccups, we would consider giving them another try, hoping for a smoother experience next time.

Joe s Italian has been my pregnancy craving. It was absolutely amazing when I had my little girl last year. Now that I m pregnant again I was very much looking forward to my regular order. I got a regular salad and my husband got a Caesar Salad like usual. I m honestly so disappointed. I rave on Joe s Italian food from the appetizers, to the salad, and the entree and this is what they gave me. I could have made this at home. I had a fantastic dining experience at Joes Italian Restaurant recently. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the chicken parm and my children enjoyed the delicious pizza, The flavors were delicious and the portion size was perfect. We finished off with a delicious cheesecake with chocolate drizzled on top! They have a great selection of pizza/pasta/ and other dishes on the menu, so theres something for everyone. I grew up in an Old-School Italian family. It is difficult for me to explain to Non-Italians just how hard it is to find decent and authentic Italian food anywhere in Texas, especially here in Conroe. Joes is pretty good, however. It is not at all like what we cook at home, but it is decent. The quality of the ingredients are very good. The service is excellent. The ambiance is nice. The prices are actually very good. There are a few things I would change to make it way better and more authentic as far as the food and menu, but hey, it is not bad for Merigan Italian food, and unlike 98% of most Italian restaurants within a 30 minute drive of here, I will actually come here and eat with my family again without feeling like I am dishonoring the memories of my grandparents. Outside the restaurant, this place smells amazing. Entering in, the place reminds me of an old Pizza Hut. Speed of service was so so food had fairly good flavor, especially the chicken Alfredo that my wife and son both ordered. The chicken masala was so so. The salads are an absolute joke, and are clearly bagged salads from the nearby H-E-B. The bread was OK. For local establishment, the prices are about as expected . Update, March 14, 2024, food has gotten worse and service still sucks. Still wasnt asked if I wanted dessert or anything else, only thing different, they have a lady now that refills the drinks other than the waitress. February 26, 2023, was our second time here. For the price, pizza shack is a whole lot better! The food is good but the service sucks. Both times! ICE tea is supposed to come with ICE. About half way through the meal, the waitress is no where to be found. Just common sense if a customer eats only a slice or 2 of a 16 inch pizza, they want a box, theres no need in asking. But if the customer doesnt finish all their food, maybe they are holding room for dessert. Both times, we were never asked if we wanted any. Customers all around us were asked, but not us. Not sure why. If we return, it will be for take out only!

The food was delicious, as always! My husband and I enjoyed sharing the fettuccini alfredo with chicken (definitely big enough for two to eat and be full!), and our kids split a large pizza (three bigger kids and a toddler eating), and we are still taking home leftovers! I highly recommend getting the olive oil and garlic to dip your bread in - fantastic! I use a little on my salad instead of dressing. All around, everything is superb, especially for the price! The only drawback is they have TVs, but unfortunately a lot of restaurants seem to nowadays; its so much more pleasant to enjoy a meal with our family without TV. The decor is lovely enough without them!

The pizza with a perfectly crispy edge. The calamari fritti are also very good, as is the caneloni. We were served very well by the waitress and her colleagues in the restaurant. This is a true Italian restaurant. The moment you walk in the door, the staff makes certain youre comfortable, and treated like just another family member come to dinner at Moms. Our server, Charlotte, was kind, friendly, and smiled easily. The owners nephew, (Im sorry Ive forgotten his name) rang us up, and was genuinely interested that we had a wonderful experience. The food is amazing, tho their sauce is a touch thinner than my mothers, but WELL with the price. You WILL leave full!! Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman at the table beside us for whom they moved chairs out of the way to better accommodate his large power chair.

The last time there was a special event as they are normally closed on Monday! We been there several times before and always left very satisfied! This last time, it was a limited menu, but the food was still very good! If you re looking for authentic Italian food, then I would highly recommend a trip to Joes Italian Restaurant, might want to go ahead and make a reservation because space is limited and they fill up quickly!

They have EXCEPTIONAL customer service. They are kind, attentive and as I was sitting at the bar waiting for my Togo order, the gentleman taking the orders behind the bar remember every single regular that he saw come in, greeted them by name. Then when my food was ready (in a very timely manner, might I add) he helped me walk my food to my car as it was a large order. Plus the food is just absolutely delicious! I would support this business and the way they treat their customer s any day!

New to the area and had heard good things about Joes. Rolls were good but cold. Salads were nothing special. My husband ate all of his chicken marsala, but said it was not the best he had eaten. The lasagne was too salty and had way too much cheese. I took two bites. The fettuccine alfredo was the only thing I enjoyed. We might order a pizza to go in the future but wont return for the entrees.

This is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Conroe! I have a hard time finding linguine with red clam sauce and to my delight, there it was on the menu! It was as delicious as I remember! The salad, beautiful fresh baked rolls..and last but not least, the choices of deserts! Joe s received 5 every time from us!

Delicious unlimited oil and bread! We sat at the bar since it was really busy. Great service! I had the manicotti, and my husband has the lobster ravioli. We are definitely going back to try more on the menu!
