F&F is one of a kind! They have a fun and relaxing atmosphere and the food is always incredible and fresh! I usually get a Shrimp Hibachi platter with the veggies (literally the best hibachi veggies ever) and fried rice but the Bibimbap and the Hawaiian Bowl are also amazing! Their appetizers are always fresh to order and my familys favorite is the Poppin Shrimp! This is probably my favorite restaurant in College Station and I always look forward to it! I highly recommend stopping in for a quick lunch or a casual dinner.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, as I visited last year while speaking at Texas A&M. Just as they did last time, they did not disappoint!! I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi meal and OH MY GOODNESS!!! The steak was juicy and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The veggies perfectly complimented the meal and the rice was delicious!! One thing that I will make mention of is the fact that the food is prepared to order and if youre in a hurry, I would recommend calling your order in before you get there, as we waited for at least 25 minutes for our order. We werent in a hurry, so we were OK with it. But it was definitely worth the wait! We originally ordered our food to go but ended to up eating almost all of it in the restaurant. They are very well priced, especially for the quality of the food that they cook. My meal was 14.99 for both steak and shrimp; and Ive definitely paid more at other hibachi restaurants. Looks like Ive got a favorite new spot and a new tradition because I will be visiting every time I speak there.

Great Location with a lovely dining room. The restaurant is a nice mix of modern and hibachi. Shrimp was delicious. Steak could be seasoned more. I would go back again but it doesnt take my spot as a favorite Japanese restaurant. 3.75/5 Vegetarian options: They offer Tofu and Veggie bowls. You can easily substitute ingredients in non vegetarian dishes.

The place should not be called a Japanese grill. This was more like a Korean restaurant although they did have some hibachi style food and gyoza. I went in expecting sushi rolls and things like that. I almost walked out after walking in and standing at the counter for about 5 minutes while a girl was standing at a register looking at a receipt or something that had printed out, she never said Ill be with you in a minute, or hello, or anything. When a guy came from the Food Lion with the takeout order and called someones name I asked him if if I should have called my order in in advance because I wasnt getting waited on standing there and he said no he would take my order. He was very nice and the girl with the long black ponytail continued to ignore me! The food was okay but I will never go back. I would highly recommend Chois Korean restaurant and Sushi Masa for all you can eat sushi and other items.

I was so close to giving this place 5 stars. The establishment itself is in great condition. It looks to be very new and clean overall. I loved that you can watch the cooks make your food. Our food came out pretty quickly, and it was very, very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly, as were my noodles and veggies. My steak was a little more well done than I would have liked. However, I wasnt asked how I wanted it to be cooked, so I assumed its just not an option here for some reason. My husband and I both agreed that there definitely could have been more veggies with the meals. There was only cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. Most places Ive been to like this include zucchini as well and sometimes mushrooms and water chestnuts. Fewer noodles instead would have been fine, but they were absolutely delicious. The sauces that came with our orders were fantastic as well! The bathrooms werent clean, unfortunately (I always have my husband check out the mens room for me). But, they werent filthy or disgusting in any way, just trash overflowing and on the floor. Overall, the quality of the food matched the prices, and I would definitely visit again.

not the greatest service experience - there were three other people inside the establishment (that i saw): a cook, a cashier, and someone sitting in the corner by the soda fountain, who seemed to me to be either the owner or a manager, given how the cashier went to talk to them after bringing our food out. they had brought in their own reusable cup and what appeared to be walmart bags. maybe they were a friend of the cashier s? i dont know, they didnt seem like a customer. the food was nice, i got the steak and shrimp hibachi and my girlfriend got the beef bibimbap and we split a 4pc gyoza (off the chain btw, very crispy shell, very flavorful pork). our food came out really fast, in about 5 min or so. after peeling the tails off the shrimp i went to grab a napkin, but the only napkins we were offered came included with the plastic utensils in a cellophane wrapper. i went up to the counter to ask for more napkins, but no one was there. i waited about 30 seconds before spotting a couple napkins (there were none available elsewhere) so i reached over the counter to grab them. the only person who saw me do this was the one who was sitting by the soda fountain, on their phone (owner?). they were playing exclusively k-pop over the speakers, and sure, loads of people like k-pop, but not everyone. i feel like if maybe there were some variety, the atmosphere would ve been better, reaching a wider, more diverse demographic, which, in a college town, is something people, especially those who have lived here their whole life, have come to expect. no one looked especially busy, yet still, no one offered to clear anything out of our way (everything was served in styrofoam to go containers anyways), no one came to ask us how our food was, no one told us thanks, come back and see us! and honestly, i probably won t. i asked my gf what she rated the food, she gave it a reasonable 6/10; she gave the service a 2/10. thusly, that brings about a 2-star dining experience for about $40 (including our $8 cash tip). the greatest part of the experience was definitely the gyoza, but i dont think it s enough to make me come back, considering tanaka ramen is right across the parking lot

First off, love the theme of the restaurant (Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift). The décor builds on the theme very well without being too loud or in your face. This is a restaurant where anyone under the age of 40 should feel welcomed and comfortable eating at, which is great for a college town in the Deep South. Secondly, the food is amazing for the price. There are not many good Asian Cuisine places in BCS, and even fewer that offer any form of Hibachi, but F&F Japanese Grill is better than most Hibachi places I went to before we moved to BCS from South Florida. I definitely recommend F&F if youre looking for a quick, great tasting meal.

I had a great time in f&f with my friends and crew members were very nice! I have tried steak and pork bibimbob, those were awesome! I heard he is a formal Aggie, member of the Corps of cadets as well as they offer military discount. Good place in Brazos county!

Great little place. My friend de decided we should go here because the ramen shop was closed. They have salads which is a great low carb option. Food was really fresh but be ready for a 30+ minute wait. They have a lot of orders and deliveries. Place was pretty clean and organized. Restrooms had no TP or paper towels. Make sure you carry Kleenex! For the price, I got a $10 chicken salad and my friend got a kimchi bowl. With drinks, tax and tip it was close to 30$. Decently priced for everything and the food was pretty tasty.

Ok yall this place is awesome! The name F&F comes from a fast and furious themed restaurant. Theres a mural on one whole wall inside this place and it is dedicated to the Tokyo Drift comics that the movie franchise Fast and Furious drew on for inspiration. We dont normally go and try new Japanese places, but we are so glad we did this time! They have hibachi plates and bowls. They also do appetizers that include edamame, crispy shrimp (tempura), tempura mushrooms, and many more! Needless to say, all of those were amazing! Everyone at the table got a hibachi combo and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal!! The cook accidentally messed up 2 orders and served chicken instead of steak so he made 2 fresh batches of steak and served it to us as well! It was sooo good and fresh! The woman at the front counter (presumably the owner or manager) came out and gave us a free appetizer because she could tell we were new and she wanted to make a good new customer relationship! I am so glad we found this place because now Ill be there every week! Lol! Please make time to go tey this place out! I 100% recommend it!

As I have been here for a several times, I noticed I can customize my food. I found the best menu for myself. I had Furious combo with steaks and chicken with the Wow bowl Sause on the top. It was incrediblydelicious! I fininshed my meal so fast that I could not take a picture of it haha. The stuffs here were amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I both give it a solid 5/5 (which is rare). Menu had a good variety of Japanese dishes, and the pictures and lists of ingredients really helped know what you were going to get. Beef Bibimbap and Hawaiian Bowl were great! Get extra of the spicy sauce, lots of flavor and a low heat Staff were so friendly and welcoming as well. And last of all no table service meaning no tip! Keeps the prices reasonable. Will definitely be coming back!

Came in for an early dinner. Ordered a super bowl and a Hawaiian bowl. I know it s a lot but I can take the leftovers back to my hotel. They have Diet Dr. Pepper! I love to mix it with a splash of Fanta orange and they had both! Everything is made when you order so it is very fresh. My total with $4 tip and a drink was $30.96

I had no idea what I was going to expect when I first walked into this place but after I sat down and ate I would have to say I had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and were happy to explain to us the menu items. I had the steak and shrimp combo and it did not disappoint. My wife had the chicken and steak combo and we shared a flying chicken appetizer. I enjoyed the combo and so did my wife but I feel the appetizer can cut back a little bit on the sauce. Other than that we had a great experience and we definitely will come back again.
