Chicken fried steak was amazing. The service matched. Worth a trip up the hill for sure. One other note is I subbed the mashed potatoes with seasonal veg and got sauted onions and peppers. I respect the heck out of that.

The food was great and the folks taking care of you are very friendly and helpful. The Stewart band in the back room were really good belting out some classic country. My only issue was not being able to make an online reservation. It s was phone call or actually facebook message where we got thru.

I leave a photo of a small part of my TERRIBLE experience in this place, I was very excited to come to this place to eat a meat that according to them is very good, the lady who served us sent us to the back patio even though there were tables available in The front part, I felt the discord but still decided to ignore it and enjoy the food. I asked for napkins and they brought me two napkins with the watermarks of her hand. When they checked on us while we were eating and asked us how our experience had been and wait for the GREAT service, she looked at me and answered fair enough she made an ugly face and left. It was a horrible experience, I would not recommend anyone coming to this place.

They gave me a dirty wine glass that had clearly defined oily lip marks on it , when I asked for a new glass they gave me the same one wiped down. The picture is the wiped down version. Service was horrible and I got sick from the chicken fried steak.

The atmosphere is very intimate and doesn t feel like a restaurant. The pork tenderloin tostadas were delicious but extremely overpriced. The beef short rib was 10/10, the chicken fried steak was massive and cooked well but had almost no flavor, 4/10. They don t serve liquor unless you own a liquor locker there so that was a bummer. Overall it was a good time.

I had a girl s evening with two of my friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. The biscuits they serve with preserves are amazing! I split the salmon special with my girlfriend. The lettuce on the salads was pretty wilted but outside of that the food was really good. The buttermilk pies were to die for and addictive they are little and the perfect size since it s very rich. They had the Steve Stewart band playing ( which we had no clue there was a band because we were at the front part of the restaurant), and they were very entertaining! They don t serve liquor just beer and wine, but you can tell everyone there is trying to make it the best experience possible.

The wait staff was great. They were very nice and friendly, I felt like a guest in their home. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared. We ordered the Calf fries, a dry aged 16 ounce steak, wine, buttermilk pie, and coffee. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate on the night we were there, perfect since I am hearing impaired.

Our party got moved and crammed into a corner because a bigger party came in and we had reservations. The atmosphere was fitting but the live music was loud. BUT if thats what your looking for its a nice place. Steaks were not cooked good all over done in our party. Sides were good recommend trying the deviled eggs. I think the price does not equal the quality.

The place is small family-run restaurant with an atmosphere that is amazing. It would have been a great experience except for the fact that it took about 45 minutes after we ordered to get our oysters appetizer. Then shortly after came our ribeye steaks. They were a bit rough and lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were just barely warm, too. When paying $65 a steak dinner, I didnt expect cold food. Otherwise, lovely people and great ambiance.

A very under-the-radar place to eat in the Stock Yards in Fort Worth. Very low-key. The menu changes every week. The bartenders/servers are very welcoming. They have a great attitude and are very engaging. The table in the front by the bar is the best seat in the house if you can get it. The chicken fried steak is as big as your head!! Its beer and wine only unless you have a liquor locker. I believe you can get a drink if its your first time. The old fashioned is very tasty!!!

We wanted to have a special and memorable dinner with our son, his girlfriend and our very close friends. I did a lot of searching for a great restaurant where we could enjoy an amazing meal and conversation. We all would tell you, do not go to this restaurant. The food was worse than a fast food restaurant. I ordered braised short ribs that sounded amazing on the menu, I was served 2 giant beef ribs with desiccated meat with absolutely no flavor or seasoning. My son & my good friend ordered dry aged ribeyes that were absolutely not dry aged, with no seasoning & over cooked. It was awful food. Also, there was a group of rowdy regulars at a table next to us who were loud, foul mouthed and inconsiderate. One lady from their party came to our table & apologized for their behavior. We all could take that in stride, but when the food was served & had absolutely no resemblance to what was on the menu, it was beyond frustrating. I have no idea where the 5 star reviews came from, maybe their family?? Here s a photo of my braised short ribs as they were when served.

Read reviews about the Brand Room after doing a Google search for steak restaurants near us. We saw great reviews about this place but couldnt locate a menu to look at online. Decided to take a chance and were so glad we did. Very unassuming building from the outside that is surprisingly large, warm, and inviting inside. Waitress explained theres no menu because it changes daily. The ribeye and sirloin steaks we had were the best weve ever had. Absolutely amazing. And we didnt have to deal with a jam packed restaurant with a long wait time. We lucked out they had a table available because we didnt have a reservation, so we will be sure to make one in the future. If youre in Ft Worth forget about the cattleman, risckys, lonesome dove etc. The Brand Room is the place for a memorable steak dinner.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS!!!! Actually the best service and hospitality I ve ever had and the food is equally spectacular. The welcome is warm and friendly and by the time you leave, Jessica, Jase and Chef will make you feel like family. Definitely need a rezi and my next trip to FTW will include two nights of dinning at the Brand Room. BYO liquor, they have a great selection of beer and wine and some great wine based cocktails. It s difficult to decide what to order from the food menu, so make it easy and book another night. You won t find a better experience in the Stockyards.

We had a fantastic evening at The Brand Room. We were strolling up from the stockyards and looked into this little place and were welcomed with a come on in! They had a beautiful candle lit setting this evening with fresh flowers on every table. I really appreciated every decor piece they had as it really felt like a unique place that the owner has put alot of feeling and history behind in this old building. The waitstaff and our waiter Jessica was beyond friendly and warm, was ontop of everything and made us feel at home and taken care of. The food was delicious and we feel we got a great deal for the amount of food we had, and It included dessert! the mashed potatoes were my favorite and we loved the tenderloin cooked just to perfection how we ordered it. The buttermilk pies make me want to order a box and take them home if we could ! It was the perfect fit for us go check it out!!
