Gear park for family bbqs, large sand pit, good size dinoish fossil park and big open area to run around and play with a ball. Right off brushy creek trail, so you can walk around and look at the nature scene and the brushy creek lake is a short walk away. Not many swings. Nice big parking area as well if you want to run/walk/bike. Historic family cemetery a few yards away. Also has bathrooms. Playground: Not much of a playground, but a big sand pit. Toilets: Restrooms are decent. Picnic area: Nice big picnic area.

Nice place to start a run. Can go either West or East for miles & miles for a nice Long run or walk. Nice wide sidewalks &/or gravel/dirt trails. Close to the creek so my dog can jump in to cool off when it is warm outside & the creek is Usually Clear! Nice facilities for a outdoor gathering - covered area with lots of picnic tables, small bathrooms - only 3 toilets in women s (& probably men s?). Covered Sand area for kids, playground area, Big trees for shade, some Pull-up bars for some upper body strength work. Clear creek area for dogs to jump in to cool off. Drinking fountain for dogs, adults, & shorter one for kids. Drinking fountain should ve been placed in the shade since it is silver metal & in the boiling hot sun beating down on it in the summer! Water is Luke warm or even hot. Ugh! Cold water absorbs better so this should be covered or moved to the shade, ESPECIALLY in the summer! And our HOT BURNING TEXAS summers like Summer 2023!!

Our car club had a meeting/ cookout this afternoon and the pavilion sat 40 of us easily. We had use of both pavilions and grills but ended up sitting in just one. Lovely setting that is able to handle a good sized group. Lots of trails within the park to get some walking done and staying close to the parking. The rest rooms are right next to the pavilions.

Great spot for planet astronomy. We joined an organized group from McNeil High School - my son is in a class and it was great. We saw Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon of course plus the ISS moving from its day into night. Back to the park. Its perfect for city dweller star gazing because its mich darker than the rest of Brushy Creek Park...being separated by homes. No stadium lights to blind you. They have nice paved paths and a couple of pavilions that are perfect for gatherings. Remember the mosquito spray!

My 1 year old and my 5 year old loved this park. There are at least 5 different play areas. There is a dinosaur bones area where kids can play and climb in dino eggs, another area with swings, an area with a small player, an area with climbing rocks that was my 5 year old favorite, and a giant sand pit where dino bones can be excavated. There were also toys there in the sand pit so my kids were very entertained and didnt want to leave when it was time. This park was also not crowded and was very nice.
