I ordered a plate with tamale, taco and enchilada. My plate arrived with mostly a layer of meat sauce Not appetizing at all. I had to dig out my tamale and enchilada. A side salad was so hot that we who got it had to grab water fast!

My husband and I ate here with our toddler for the first time yesterday and we will absolutely be back! The service was great, our waitresses were so attentive and kind. While there we saw a couple who we can only assume to be regulars, because as soon as they walked in the waitress already knew their drink order. I knew then our food would be good. The food was amazing, and the portions are super generous. We really love that they bring queso out with the salsa. The pricing for the 3 of us was reasonable as well. Thank you all for being so great! We can t wait to come back and try breakfast.

Ordered takeout, A taco salad with fajita meat which was not good. The shell was soft and hard to tear, the meat tasted unseasoned except for lots of salt. I had queso also which had the consistency of gravy and was ok but I would never order it again. Chips were good though.

We have gone several times and each time the wait staff is attentive and the food is great. The portions are large and we usually have leftovers to take home. I would recommend trying this restaurant to anyone.

i feel like the 4.4 stars are very misleading. our neighbor raved about this place and we finally decided to try it out.. there was flies in our lemonades (we asked for another drink and it still had a black substance in it the second time) and hairs in our food. never will i come back.

Not sure why the reviews showed 4.5 stars. The salsa was spoiled (they put the containers in the fridge nightly) the chips were stale big time, and the 3 different meat items we had tasted odd.

The warm salsa was delicious but the queso was just ok. The waitress only checked on me once, near the end of my meal & it was too late to ask for more salsa. The sour cream sauce for the chicken enchiladas was very flavorful but the chicken was dry. They use chicken breast in their enchiladas. The serving size was plentiful.

The food was too ugly, I ordered a salty one and a grill, the grill was too burnt, it was just charcoal. Plus the terrible waitress service When I arrived I had to ask him for the chit, so that he could bring them and then the vevidas, you almost have to come and serve yourself, I dont recommend it, bad service and bad food.

A roach crawled out of our napkin holder, I discreetly told my waitress so not to cause a seen. We chose to stay and eat and regret that decision. Chicken fried steak tough, the 3 side tacos meat tasted old or over cooked, no lime cilantro or anything to go on my tacos. Syrup for pancakes was water. Bacon had no flaver. Bad choice for my birthday meal. Wont be back. And to top it off they took nothing off my bill for the roach.

Even though I ordered takeout from La toska, the dine in had a warm and authentic ambiance and thoughtfully spaced. Service was great and food was even better. But take a moment familiarize yourself with the menu options ensuring you choose something that fits your tastes. I made the very mistake of not doing this. Portion sizes are crazy big.

I love checking out hole in wall restaurants. Ive been meaning to check this place out for years and would always forget. I finally got the chance and well went there twice in two weeks and was thinking about going there again today. Their breakfast does not disappoint, plenty of food and low prices. For those of you that like caldo de res, this is probably the best caldo de res Ive ever had at a restaurant. The service is top notched, the place is quaint with a touch of down home goodness. The maintain a nice crowd of customers coming in for some delicious food.

First of all, I like to give small businesses my $$. Well, when we walked in, Noone greeted us or even looked our way. One girl was in the back standing against the wall on her phone. No one came to us for at least 10 minutes. No menus, no water, and no greeting. They waitress seemed really annoyed we walked in. We asked for napkins and drinks, and she never answered us. She came over later with the things we asked her for and just put them down and walked away. No words at all. The food was ok. The taco meat was salty, and so were the beans. There WAS lots of meat in the fajita tacos, though. The iced tea had no flavor or ice. I asked for a cup of ice, and she looked at me like I insulted her. Didnt like it at all. My bff also got the same vibe from the waitress, and we were being super sweet, and still, she was short with us. Wont be back!!

Incredible TexMex food! Recommended to us by a work colleague. We loved it, and we were raised in Latin America. Fresh hot food. Very well flavored. Service was attentive. First time here and it was great! Hubby isnt a rice fan ever but he perked up this time and said the rice was delicious so well done La Toska! I had the Monterey chicken which was a huge a huge portion! He had Steak Ranchero and loved it. The salsa and the queso that comes with chips for the table was very tasty as well. My first time there I had the cheese enchilada and beef enchilada and rice and beans. The chili con carne was a little too harsh is the way I would describe it everything else was good. I will try it next time with queso on it. They have a large menu with a large selection of things to eat Mexican and American. I plan to go back and try some of their American foods.

Wow I was totally pleased today with my meal at La Toska. I normally drive to Arlington to El Fenix for Wednesday enchilada day but didnt want to drive far in the rain today so I decided to try La Toska (Cedar Hill). This was my first visit and I have found a hidden jewel. The food (enchiladas meal)was hot, meaty, tasty and a lot. Enjoyed it!

This is one of my favorite places! The breakfast, lunch and dinner are delicious. The staff are friendly.

Its good cook food , the prices are reasonable and your gonna always need a Togo plate, and waitresses are nice
