Place smells straight up like cigarettes. The locations in Montrose and Galleria dont have this problem. It was so bad I couldnt stay a whole hour.

My buddy and I must have a look. Dude came in super high, plenty of tables and chose right to us, tried to sell us weed, kept making noises every time I tried to line up a shot, walks up to us and promises us he s not a crack head, just someone with heavy liver damage..(from bad needles)? I guess he paid for his table? Idk, the one employee working was nice enough but so focused on playing candy crush, I bet it wouldn t be hard to just wander in and grab a table. (And second the heavy smoke, but I don t hold that against the joint, that s my own lack of awareness). (-1 for the snarky owner response, lol)

Very friendly and clean environment! I m not sure about the food, but the drinks were really good and the price for everything was great. Everyone gets ID d at the door and one ID is held until payment so be prepared to hand it over. If you smoke, smoking is permitted. Overall, we enjoyed our time and will definitely return again!

Its been quite some time since Ive been to what we used to call a pool hall. You know the kind of place that your mama warned you about. For the most part, I was impressed, I love shooting pool, but hate it when the tables arent level and the pool cues are as crooked as a dogs hind leg. None of those issues were a concern here because it appears everything has been properly maintained. The only reason that I am not giving this place five stars is due to them, not having the base ingredients to make a simple old-fashioned. Basically all thats required is bourbon, bitters, simple syrup, and a cherry if they have one. The waitress looked me in the eye and with the how about a Jack and Coke instead? Hence the four stars.

We Went noonish to 3pm on a very nice table. Not crowded. 5 Beers and a proper tip to a great sever was almost $80. We will be going back. We love this place !

Its always fun, plenty of tables. Drink prices are pretty on par with expectations. Theyre a little odd about needing an ID for people in their 50s. Parking is a little hard to come by since all the businesses in that strip pull pretty good numbers. For those looking for a straight-up pool hall, this place would be hard to top.

I should have read reviews before I took my family. We went over on a Sunday afternoon to play some pool, and that was fun! but we couldnt stay. The cigarette smoke, both first hand and second hand and just permeating from all the furniture etc is very overwhelming and gave us all headaches after about 30 mins. Had to leave. So if u r a smoker, ull love this place; if not, ull want to find something else to do.

I hope the owner calls me I have the receipt of what was over charged. Ive been here a ton and will probably not be back....The manager of this place tried to fake add things that didnt make since. I come in and spend atleast $100 every time and they tried to take advantage of us. STAY AWAY

My wife and I stopped by the bar here last night while we were waiting for a table at Texas Roadhouse. My wife started talking about having a birthday party here, then the bartender got our drinks wrong and was rude about it, and we saw how another employee talked to a person that had a question about their bill rudely my wife said nevermind. We liked it until we saw the staff was rude to everyone. We went around 8pm on 12/09.

The staff are attentive and welcoming! The tables are very well taken care of. They dont offer hand chalk but for a reason I believe, their tables are mark free and smooth. Bring a glove if you plan on playing for a while.

Awful customer service by the manager. Be careful with your ticket they over charge big time. I do not recommend this place. They steal your money. I feel bad for the workers who unfortunately do make mistakes due to the craziness of the environment but the manager refusing to correct it is unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars I would definitely give them 0 stars.

One star because you would expect a large pool hall chain to not allow smoking inside like a hole in the wall bar around the corner. This place stinks and feels disgusting as soon as you walk in, staff seems like they are more hanging out there instead of working, the whole vibe is dark and eery. Will never go back.

love the place, the env is clean and normally we dont have to wait for the table. the staff however can be extremely rude at times, I tip every time but one time I forgot since I was really tired that day, the dude just slapped the bill right back on the table saying hey, we served you at the table so fill this up. really felt like a threat. but dont want to judge the overall place with this bad experience. its good place to hang out.

Place has many pool tables but the place filled fast at 8pm on a Saturday. Their beer options were horrible with no tap beers, but the service was very good(unsure what for). Slick Willies, Fast Eddies have always been my favorite pool spots in the US. All of them have the same scene going on - lot of introverts who avoid eye-contact, a dude with a hoodie, who brings his own pool stick, puts it together and plays horrible, big women playing darts with their even more bigger dates!! A guy staring at everyone and smiling(me). Yes, this place has it all.

Slick Willies website says its a family friendly environment. When we arrived we werent allowed in because I had my 16 y/o daughter with me. We ended up going to the westheimer location instead they did allow us and they were great. The Katy location was not.

Staff can be a bit abrasive. I forgot my id, and the staff said I had to have it because it was past 7, it was 6:30? I had photos of mine and my sister also had her id. I totally understand having to have it, but a bit more tact is always appreciated
