Very spacious coffee store near UT Dallas that offers a great place for students and customers to study. I ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Pomegranate Green Tea. We both like the pomegranate green tea, but thought the thai tea could use a bit more flavor. I think overall its not a bad place to come back, but I would really prefer if they turned on the AC inside the store. Its 90+ degrees and it seemed like the AC was purposely not running. I think customers would be more prone to come back if they focused on getting the temperature down. A coffee shop should never be this humid/warm. oh, a big plus is that they have a lot of outlets. This is crucial for people who bring their laptops to study :)

This was our first time here. My brother got a hot white chocolate mocha. I got a Thai tea. The Thai tea was decent. Wasnt the best, wasnt the worst, by far. It was, however, the brightest shade of orange Ive ever seen in a Thai tea. Not sure what that means, just an observation. I would come back but I would probably try something else.

This place has gone down. She charged my fiancé for a medium and gave him a small cup. When we asked if she could correct it she instead argued that there s still the same amount of shots we came in on July 15th at 10:19. My cold brew was watered down and she gave me a literal splash of oat milk. I could ve made better coffee at home. Safe to say we ll never be back. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the food and the service received. Used to love this place too which is the sad part.

My daughter and I started coming here around a month ago. The beverages and pasteries are delicious. Weve tried various coffees and tea and liked them all. The service is friendly and fast. The staff is knowledgeable if you have questions. The atmosphere is quiet, but not stuffy. There are often small groups meeting to study or chat and also always individuals reading or working. There is a large table or small tables can be pushed together or a cozy sofa area.

Story time, we were there yesterday. A bit busy in the morning. We ordered 2 separate times. On the second order they forgot our order. No biggie. Wifey ordered a cream cheese Danish. Fun fact. Cream cheese isnt supposed to be out longer than 2hrs before it starts to spoil(salmonella). She noticed the same breads out this morning from the day before. She also noticed where we were sitting yesterday morning(15month old baby) the crumbs were still on the floor from the cookie he ate. We cleaned off the table but the floor was still dirty. Kinda makes you wonder about the cleanliness of their machines. Please do better guys.

I live about 5 minutes from this place and its a nice spot to do some studying or if youre looking catch up with friends or family. If youre looking to be on your laptop for a while they have a group table with chargers, or you could take one of the open seats that are available (Chargers found in the floor) They deliver your order to you as well which I thought was nice so you can just locate a place to sit as soon as you order. Also ask for the WIFI because they change it often, but in all it is a nice coffee shop.

I stopped by this awesome and cute coffee shop on the way to Oklahoma. It s right off George Bush which makes it a very convenient location. I ordered a double shot cappuccino with extra milk. It was served steaming hot and coffee tasted delicious & fresh. An Egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit sandwich. Their biscuits are freshly made in house, and tasted so buttery and so fresh! Because the biscuit sandwich was so great, I had to try something else, so I ordered the blueberry scone. It was also fresh and delicious, just the right amount of blueberries and sweetness. Overall the coffee shop is at a great location, lots of natural light and seating areas inside and outside. The outside tables even have shaded areas. The employees are customer friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I got a chance to speak to the owner and she definitely cares about the experience and quality for all her customers. You won t regret stopping by! Parking: Lots of spaces to park.

Lack of awareness! I love sweetwater and come in all the time. My husband and i have gotten several free drinks from our rewards points because the drinks are addictive. But the older lady thats there not sure if she owns it or just a manager. But i see her all the time and order from her. So she knows me. I ask for a cup for water and she tells me that if im going to sit at her tables and use the wifi i need to buy something because the past few times I ve just asked for water and sat down. I responded but i buy from you guys all the time ? And i was planning on getting drinks to go after my meeting for my husband and i and she responded with i know but i noticed the past few times you haven t . I feel thats a lack of awareness on her part knowing that i purchase from that location at least 5-8 times a month. And the place was full! Its not like it was empty. Going to the Frisco location from now on.

Great full-bodied decaf Americano. The wonderfully hot coffee was served in pottery cups (vs. paper cups) which I love. They have a small selection of sandwiches and pastry items which were very tasty. My friend and I tried the croissant breakfast sandwiches and split a cinnamon scone. The service was excellent. I was greeted by a smiling cashier when I entered the coffee house and the staff was very efficient. Recommended!

Disappointed in this place. Came with a friend for coffee. We stood in line with no one in front of us and only about 5 people in the place seated with their drinks already in hand. It took 4 employees over 3 minutes just to look at us. Not a hello, well be right with you, nothing. Wouldnt even look at us as they talked to one another. Should have walked out then.... When they finally took our order for drip coffee, they stated we had to be members to get refills. No problem, sign us up. Until we discovered that during the pay process we inadvertently didnt sign up because we thought the barista did. We couldnt get refills unless we made an additional purchase (again). We literally just bought the coffee. Overall, the employees were not friendly, the feel of the place was very sterile and they wouldnt consider a refill of drip coffee unless we made an additional purchase of coffee. I would not recommend this place after our experience today.

The opener staff in the morning Alex was so helpful and kind! Great energy to start off the day as I got to the cafe around 6:30. Nice to hit up a cafe with such great natural lighting, not many open this early. They have a great Vietnamese iced coffee and also a full menu of sandwiches too! Great place to chill and catch up with a friend, or work all day. Cannot get enough of the natural light in here it s perfect. Plus they got cute merch! My husband and I have been wanting to try this coffee shop for a while now. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and it want busy. We walked in and there was only one other customer and it was very quiet inside. Nobody greeted us so it was a bit uncomfortable. There was a food case as well as coffee and tea related items for purchase. The menu is on the wall behind the counter. Once we walked up to the counter nobody greeted us or said that they would be with us. Kind of awkward. Once someone came up to take our order she was friendly. We sat down to wait for our drinks and noticed that most tables had plugs for your electronics. The bariatas bring your order to you so thats nice. Our drinks were good but I feel like we missed the overall message of what makes this place special. Is the coffee supposed to be better quality or is there something else that we could have learned about this business that might be cool to know?

Not from this area and we went to try this coffee. The coffee shop is really cute with lots of seating including a patio area. We got the cold brew. You can get any smaller than a 20 ounce tripple shot. The flavor was really bad on both drinks. Taste like your drinking chemicals. I dont like the chain stores, but Id rather go to the common chain store then go back here. Paid premium price and Im really disappointed in the coffee.

Clean, comfortable place to study or work. There is plenty of seating indoors and out, and music is low enough so as not to be distracting. I just ordered a house coffee, and usually refills on house coffee is complimentary, or offered at low cost. However, when I tried to ask for a refill, the manager told me I would need to download the app, record my transaction on my profile, and then earn rewards points in order to earn a discount. In the end I just paid full price for another house coffee. This loyalty system is cumbersome and and unnecessary, which is why I rated it 4 stars.

Sweet Water has to be one of my favorite places ever! I love to come study, chill and it s so nice that I ve even done some photography here. I love the ambiance and the comfortable seating, the drinks and baked goods aren t anything crazy but for the place I think it s definitely worth it. Honestly I would probably give it a 0. Whoever the older lady is is rude. Sitting down doing my work and I usually always wait until I order something. Due to religious purposes I was fasting and still planned to buy a croissant before leaving so I could have it later. The lady came up to me and told me that I could not sit there without making a purchase. How rude?! Literally had to pack my stuff and leave. Modern, clean, and friendly!! This is our go-to cafe for studying & a quick coffee run. The tables and seats are spacious with outlets on the floor as well. They are ok, nice dining room with decent coffee and way better tea than Starbucks. They have a very nice looking selection of desserts, which I didnt try because I dont eat that kind of stuff. I still prefer my favorite local place, and this is a chain, but better than Starbucks, IMHO.

Ive been going to this coffee shop for quite a while and didnt realize I never left a review. They have a great selection of drinks (both coffee and tea, hot or cold), and every one Ive tried has been amazing. The pastries they have are great too. You cant go wrong with this place. Its definitely my favorite coffee shop off all time.

Sweetwater, an accurate name :( Friendly and cool staff on a Saturday. They got pup treats too! Plenty of seating inside and outside, tons of large windows and lighting. We got the imperial milk tea which was quite sad. Normally when I go somewhere, I expect a shabang and wow, filled with tea flavor and sugar. But it felt very watery, like something I can do 1st attempt at home since I am afraid to dump tons of sweetener. Their Viet coffee was okay, nothing Id personally order, but my friend got and I tried. Very bitter, but slightly off for some reason. If you like Cafe Du Monde, its kinda like that. Im on a mission to try more coffee shops, and this place is a great value so maybe someday ill try their regular iced latte, but thats way in the future.

This place is incredible. I ordered the triple creme caramel and red velvet cake. The coffee was delicious and hot. THANK YOU for serving hot coffee. I m so tired of other coffee shops giving warm coffee that becomes cold in 10 minutes. The red velvet cake was delicious and a pretty big slice. A woman stopped me on my way to my car to ask me where I got it from, because it looked so good, and guess what - it was rich, moist and yummy! It also had chocolate in it! The lady working there was very nice and helpful as well - I m assuming she was the owner. One of the best coffee shops I have been to. Although I took my food and coffee to go, it s a very peaceful and quiet place. Lots of filled tables, I m assuming from UTD students studying there and others just chatting. The location is a 10/10. Will definitely be back!

This is my first time being here at Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea and its nice place to come study. There is a good amount of outlets here. Music is played really quietly. If you do plan on studying here, in order to get the wifi password, you have to buy a drink. The drink I ended up ordering was the passionfruit iced tea and i didnt really like it. To me, it tasted like if childrens make up as a tea flavor...

Owner is really nice she gave good advice for teas. The owner was really respectful and upon asking questions for my college project she really opened my mind into her business and how hard she works for it. The inside of her franchise felt cozy and the art work on the wall caught my eye. The tea she recommended was really good, and relaxing and her recommendation of sugar was really a good recommendation for the tea. I did not get the owners name but thank you! I hope your business keeps growing and I wish you nothing but the best with your business. Keep that positive attitude that keeps us customers happy.

Clean, trendy, and friendly. Stopped in to hang out with my daughter who was doing some office work on the WiFi. I ordered an Americano and my wife ordered a decaf cappuccino. The barrista recommended a different bean for my Americano saying it was better for 50 cents more. To my wife she recommended a shot of vanilla for an upcharge. I got the sense this was the owner looking to increase her sales for the evening which is understandable but a little annoying when you know what you want. She told me the costlier bean for the Americano would taste better. I wondered why would you not have a good bean for your espresso drinks as standard. My wife suspected her drink was not actually decaf because now shes still wired 6 hours later.

Cute little coffee and tea shop. They have a nice selection of coffee and teas. They make their own cold brew in house. Its delicious. I ordered a dirty cold brew. (Cold brew with a shot and a little cream) its was strong and delicious. I also ordered a breakfast biscuit. It was fresh and tasty. Id recommend this shop to any coffee or tea lover and will be back.

The staff have consistently demonstrated thoughtfulness for their clientele and knowledgeable of their products. Lots of space to spread out and comfortably enjoy a beverage. On the note of beverages, I asked for a drink Id never tried before and the barista asked if Id ever tried it and described its flavor notes for me. I LOVE this. I enjoyed the drink more because they took the time to let me know what to expect from the flavors and such. I appreciate that they take the safety and comfort of each of their guests into consideration.
