It s a school not an agency and some people think they are a scam bc of that confusion but for what I have seen and experience I can assure you the will teach you anything I need to know to take the next step forward. We did my daughter s last 2 photoshoots here with John Casablancas Dallas and each shoot went very good. My daughter had a great time with the photographer and the staff was helpful and really gave us good guidance. So far the photoshoots have been a success and my daughter wants to keep coming here for futures shoots. Top notch people here.

As a parent this experience has been really helpful. Our daughter has been very interested in acting and theatre but we did not have any idea where to start. The classes have been informative and helped give her things to practice. We all have a better grasp on some of the nuances and small details like what is important in a head shot. Everything has been done efficiently and on time, and most of it has been able to be done over zoom. We have also appreciated that a parent is required to be with her for each class or activity so it feels like safety is important.

Had a ball shooting in Addison, TX. I was nervous at first because so many models showed up at the same time and the photographer was still setting up. The day turned out to be fun. Ana (PA) , Thomas (photographer ) the Greg himself, and Skie (make up artist) made a long day bearable. They kept it moving, were very supportive and had positive attitudes. Let s see where this takes me. I acted long ago and decided I loved it and I m going to step out of my comfort zone. If that s you, consider signing up for classes. Onward and upward.

I enjoyed my experience with JC since day one. This is a professional platform training for both modeling and acting. I loved working with different professional coaches over the time and as much as I only wanted to do modeling, I realized that models act and actors model. My way of taking full advantage of the training is to be fully prepared, always review the past sessions, go to myJC website regularly, take advantage of the webinars and great resources out there. Its a great journey as much as you put the energy, motivation, hard work & soul in it! You got to be consistent and follow instructions! Im loving it! I brought my daughter here before Covid. They seemed to be great but when they closed for Covid they would not answer the phones, EVER and next thing you know they put the balance on my credit! As if this was something I was not paying- I could not reach anyone and they lied about setting up virtual classes. LESS than a month after they closed they put the balance on my credit so I know the aim was to sell off the accounts for whatever funds to collection agencies but I take my credit seriously and was told by another person that said the same happened to her, that she was able to dispute if off. It took me over a year to get it removed off of all my credit reports but now I can never trust organizations like this. They do not answer you when you follow up with them about ANYTHING once you sign on the dotted line. Just apply for jobs yourself, they dont help with that at all and claim success for the famous kids that actually went through other organizations as my daughter has had acting training with reputable organizations such as the Black Academy of Arts and Letters and KD Studios. DONT GIVE THEM MONEY! You walk in and they have the music PUMPING and it is a feel of being in a modeling studio, then they make sure they sign you up while classes are happening to show movement/activity and also have the kids practicing loudly to make the impression that they are training adequately. I personally do not care about the fake image as my daughter enjoyed it (once I noticed it was scammy) but if you are going there to develop yourself or get into the acting modeling world... DO NOT WASTE YOUR GAS, TIME AND MONEY TO GO THERE MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK. There are better ways.

Please, understand that this is a school. Thats it.. they claim they have connections to get you jobs but after you pay the money for classes.. they couldnt care less if you show up to classes or not. Yes, they send you text messages with auditions but those auditions are open for EVERYONE.. Not just people who give john casablancas money. They are open to the public. Plus, they accept everyone in their so called auditions . The owners who are very involved in the auditions dont even care to remember your name after you sign the contract & money. Not worth it at alll. My question is why do they claim to be an agency, when they litterly give random classes for tv and thats it. Please SAVE UR MONEY for something better. I regret going there at 15.. thinking this was going to be a lifetime opportunity. To respond to your reply, first Ha second You though my review was interesting? I think your reply is even more interesting because it is completely false. I never wanted to be an actress or singer I always knew I had a terrible voice and I wasent a fan of acting. I was interested in modeling at the time. Third of all, you contacted my parents first? Completetly inaccurate.. What a complete scam. Please please nobody give them your money. They don t want to represent you. They just want to take your money and say that when you don t book auditions it s your fault. As soon as I found out it was a scam and sent my letter in to receive a refund they went ghost. I have been calling them for two weeks and no response or indication that they are going to give me the partial refund stated in the contract. No agency should ever ask you to pay them for training or any type of upfront payment. I wish I read the other reviews before signing up. Don t make the same mistake I did with these scam artists!

I wouldn t recommend this place I was invited to a second interview by the person who said it would be at 7:00pm sharp through zoom.. I attend and the person I spoke with was literally 10 minutes late to the call I emailed her my resume/portfolio where I had professionally got it done by another modeling school I had attended prior and she told me it was not real and the school I went to was basically fake.. (it s not I attended the school and they were AMAZING) anywho she proceeded to say I needed more training for modeling and needed to pay for a course to get better trained (she just wanted money) to continue, I told her no because there was no point in paying $1500 in courses I ve already taken by another modeling school who said I did amazing (met with an agent and everything) and then she became EXTREMELY RUDE it was all about money and luckily the school I attended originally GOT ME SIGNED with an actual agency WITHOUT them! And lastly THEY REACHED OUT TO ME! I wasn t even interested in this place to begin with I just tried it out to see since they claim they were an agency and of course it was all ABOUT MONEY! Agents/Agencies don t ask for upfront payments, I ve already been through the process so if they are like THIS SCHOOL it s not legit and your going to be paying for workshops you could have learned literally on YouTube! Working with this company was not what I thought it would be . It felt like a pyramid scheme. In all of my years of acting on small sets etc I never have to pay an Agency a fee to be signed to them before I ever received a job . But after talking to friends who are major actors and actresses advisories me that when they were assigned to agencies they didn t pay a fee. The only time the agency was paid if we had recurring jobs on set !So why I m paying a company who reached out to me and who wanted to sign !! This process didn t make any sense. So after one class in person I choose not to return . I advised them that I was not returning! Because to me this felt like a pyramid scheme. Because In reality it felt as if like they were concerned more about the payments then your opportunity while being with them. If I can give them a zero star it would we have been given a zero star. Because this is not Worth the time no effort. You do better hiring an agent outside of a business like this and give it a better chance. That s what I ve done.

At the beginning, everything was very ethical and professional, very good service, I did my first casting with one of the girls from the team and then they called me and sent an e-mail saying that I had been selected for a second interview, then in the second interview with the lady Lynn at the beginning was fantastic explained everything in detail and was very nice and friendly then at the end of the whole presentation he showed me the preparation plans they have including photos and professional advice when I told him that I was not ready to pay the tuition today he got upset and changed her tone and her verbal expression telling me that she needed my credit card or my debit card today to start the course because the course started tomorrow and it was only once a year when she asked if I could make my first payment on Monday he was very upset and told me that he no longer had a reason to be online talking to me and then he hung up the zoom call on me. I remember that we spoke a day before this second interview and she asked me if I was working and I told her no and then she asked me if I had savings because she had to make an investment of course I understood and I know that it is so but I just thought that I was going to do a casting then she was going to offer me some of those study plans and I could make the decision of when to start since she told me on many occasions that I was going to have a personal trainer now I dont understand why she told me that only that course or preparation that is once a year and it started tomorrow gave me a lot of mistrust that she got totally out of control and from being the kindest, most affectionate and authentic person, she became the rudest, most arrogant and rude lady only because I didnt want to give her the information of my cards for her to collect at that time.

They hurry and rush you to sign the contract by telling you your spot won t still be available if you don t go ahead and sign . I had an audition, last Thursday. Everything seemed good and fine, I was very hopeful and optimistic as I had never done anything like this everyone was very nice, thorough, and professional in their talk and mannerisms. After my callback for my second interview, I went online and read the reviews and was still iffy, but wanted to go into it with an open mind. I talked to my support group ahead of time, telling them my questions and concerns. They told me to just go ahead and do it, and they would ask the questions and concerns I had for me, I was on time to the interview, and everything was going good and seemed fine. All the way up until, I asked if I could get a day before paying that much money for something, I had a gut feeling after that moment that something was off. I was told yes, but they needed to know asap because they only had 4 spots still available, and I was chosen, but my spot might not be available if I took too long to let them know. Right after the meeting, I discussed further with my dad, and my friends who couldn t make it to the Zoom meeting due to family and kids would be heard in the background, but they still wanted to know. We all did our research more thoroughly, and I didn t like or think it was professional how they respond to negative reviews, it s like they get caught in the act and in true Narcissism fashion, they get defensive and automatically blame everyone but themselves. I ll probably get the same response/reply, but it s fine. I m glad, I didn t waste over 2,675 that I d never get back from a company who doesn t care about anything other than SCAMMING you out of your money. Don t trust a place who is not accredited, by the Better Business Bureau, with constant complainants filed as new as just last month.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Total rip off. The teachers are the only good thing about this place. Even though they rush you through the classes so you dont learn much. After charging you over $1300 they then charge $100 for bag and t-shirt that has their name on it. I did my photo shoot, and additional $80, mid October. I literally had to call and email several people, ask for a refund, and only then did my pictures get emailed to me.....at the Beginning of December!!!! I called about being overcharged, nobody seemed to know what the additional charge was for. It was on my contract, very small print. However the help desk couldnt seem to figure it out. I was called to do an audition for them even got a call back. I was under the impression that this was an agency to get work then after signing the contract I found out about it being a school. Ok so I said thats fine because she needed more classes. I was rushed to signing the contract I wasnt aware of the 3 day cancellation nor did I know about the 20% for only taking 1 class. I only wanted to pull her out because I lost my job and I knew I would fall behind on her payments because I have other bills that are more important than the school. If I had to do it over I would never have signed without reading first!

I m extremely impressed with the online workshops John Casablancas has to offer. We are living in crazy times right now and yet the staff here continue to think outside the box and haven t missed a beat. Not only with the workshops, but also their huge network of talent scouts nationwide. I m so glad I enrolled my niece and I highly recommend John Casablancas! And shoutout to Greg Finenco at their Carrollton location! Greg has a special way of boosting the students confidence and helping them achieve their goals! 5 stars!

My husband & I signed our daughter up about 4 months ago. Every since we invested in our daughters dreams our daughter has been extremely excited & cant wait to see what her future holds for her. Our daughter loves the online classes & the fact that she gets to work with people from all over the world. Our daughter loves this experience & praying for an amazing future for our baby girl.

My daughter signed up about 20 weeks ago. She is loving her online classes. It is nice because you get the opportunity to work with coaches from all over. She has loved her photo shoots, the pictures are amazing. She just did her head shots and she told me taking them was so much fun.

I signed my son up for classes a few months before COVID hit. With that being said, he had to do classes online. Do not pay your money to this company... they deceive you into believing you have to join the first day and that the classes book up fast which was a lie. The most concerning and irritating part is that since I paid almost 1900.00 not a single person from the company has even attempted to call us regarding future plans and procedures for sending my son out to get modeling or acting gigs. When you call you can t leave a message. You have to email them. They are very interested in getting their money, but not interested in anything else after taking your money. This is one of the worst investments that I have made, they lied and left us with a lot of broken promises. Please pray and think about this when and if they re-open.
