I ordered catering for 19-people with sides and toast. They handed me two small cake trays with meat enough for maybe 4- people. The sides were actually decent but never again will I order catering. Also, They literally tried to help me with my bags when I was two steps away from my vehicle. This was the Worst experience.

The service was top notch, the food quality was sub par. The soda machine was amazing tbh old school machine but the DR Pepper was great. The sauce was cold the Turkey was also at a temperature that wasn t very ideal. The mac and cheese and Cole slaw were both good not great. I ordered a side of okra and every bite was a fried ball of salt. The inside of this dickeys is super neat. I d definitely recommend this place just for the soft drinks and atmosphere other than that please do yourself a favor and pick another location.

Worst service I ve had here. I used to come here frequently but now with this visit I m never coming back. I ordered two chicken sandwiches and a large side of loaded baked potato casserole. Took me half an hour for them to give me my order at curbside pickup. And the worker said that I would have to pass by through the window when I did that. Then I get home and my food is cold, I called them to tell them and I spoke to them in Spanish. They said give me a moment and hung up immediately. Worst service of my life I wouldn t want anyone else to head to that location.

The person/cashier that prepared my food seemed to be in a hurry, made my sandwich with bread that was sitting out in the open already for God knows how long, my brisket was cold, and he packed my sides in a very sloppy manner. Went to this location on yesterday after placing curbside order which they NEVER brought out. Guy at counter made eye contact with us when we pulled up and they never brought the food out I eventually had to go in. Food was cold and yes we were there at the time they said it would be ready. I didnt enjoy the mac n cheese AT ALL! The baked beans were good but the TURKEY and DISGUSTING and I believe was fake meat. It was mushy and soft. Definitely not the turkey Im use to. Toast was good and okra but I wont be returning.

I called my credit card dispute line after a few days because I saw no refund. I placed a dispute and the disput department refunded and notified them. If you use Dickeys on Trinty Mills for a to go order, check your order before you leave because if they short you, they wont refund you. Unfortunately, they can not handle to go orders. Three times they have shorted my order. I ordered the XL pack with extra side after I saw how small their sides were now. Then I found out that you only get rolls not buns so I ordered buns because everyone would be using buns. The order was just under $100. They gave me the packed order. When I got home and we were unpacking we discovered they didnt pack the buns. I tried calling several times but they didnt answer. My son went to the store and got buns but guess what, the food was cold by then. I tried calling later after everyone left and the person that answered seemed unable to comprehend that they failed to pack buns and the results were cold food. Paying for food then reheating was not fun. After he finally understood that I paid for something I didnt get, he said I could drive down and hed refund. I said he should bring it to me or correct it on my charge card. This was the third and LAST time that my order was short. The following review was when they had a different manager or owner. So sad to see its decline. Came in with a large party and they took care of us fabulously. The food was great! Be sure to try their fried okra.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich for delivery. Put in my request for spicy bbq sauce on the app and got my order without bbq sauce. I dont have any at the house so the sandwich got thrown out. Proportions are very small compared to price you pay. Not worth it at all. Asked for pulled pork and they gave me like 1 scoop of meat. I paid 15 dollars. Ordered lunch for 11 people to be picked up. Asked the four employees twice if they verified all items had been packed and was told yes, all items were packed. When I got back to my office I realized they failed to put 4 sides in the order. Tried calling but no answer, so drove back to the store. Their phone was unplugged. When I asked for a partial refund, I was told they can t do a partial refund for online orders and I was offered a coupon for my next visit, which I declined. The worker said, You are not perfect either as his excuse for not including everything in my order. By the way, zero customers in the store at noon. Their attitude and behavior explains it all.

It has been 5 days and I still have not received my refund for the deal using the codes emailed to us (buy big cup get free 6 pce rib)must be done online. My husband placed his order at the dickeys inside Walmart on Trinity Mills, got an email saying order was ready, get there they said they were out of ribs, still waiting on the money to come back to my card. I called dickeys on Josey lane they had ribs my order went through however he said that they will accept my code this time but dickeys are a franchise and at that particular location they dont take coupons or codes because the price of meat went up. The same thing happened last week when we had physical coupons for 6 piece wing and ended up going to 4 different dickeys because they had no wings!!!!!! It is frustrating to no avail to try and utilize the discounts that are sent to us Its like now we have to call every dickey around to see if they honor codes or coupons, we are frustrated and being made to order online money taken and have to wait for days to get it back after using my last 10$ during this recession!!!

Stopped in for to-go ribs and brisket. I got fatty, grey roast beef and burned meat with a bone in the middle, already covered with sauce. Horrible, threw it all away. It was inexpensive, otherwise Id have returned it. I know Dickeys isnt the best barbecue in town, but this was appalling. If this is a franchise, its doomed. If its a company store, its shameful how far theyve fallen. Do not eat here. And no thanks on the gift certs. I wouldnt eat there on a dare.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I d give this place a 0/5 if I could. We had dinner here yesterday. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, the bathrooms were nasty. The food was mostly inedible. I got the 3 meat plate with brisket, jalapeño sausage and turkey. The sausage tasted boiled, was mushy had no smoke flavor and no snap. It s color should have been a warning to me. The brisket was dry and lacked smoked flavor. The turkey was moist, but bland. The potato salad and coleslaw were on the warm side. I cannot imagine they were cold enough to meet the health code. My daughter got a kids meal of chicken nuggets and fries. They were horrible! We had to return them and instead, got chicken breast and mashed potatoes. She wouldn t eat the chicken, so I tasted it. It s not smoked chicken. It s seasoned chicken and not very good at that. It was moist, but the flavor of the spices was terrible! I ended up throwing most of our food away as we left. I ll never punish myself here again. I woke up this morning with gut cramps and intestinal distress from this place. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

The specials are good. Sausage had a good flavor. Quick service. I just love their brisket loaded baked potato. Not too expensive and ample portions. Parking is easy. Dining room is open, although no one was using it. Good classic Texas style barbecue. Tons of choices on sides. Beef and sausage plate is my favorite with dill potato salad and ranch beans.

I ordered delivery and after almost an hour of waiting on my delivery through DoorDash, (thats who they use) I never received my ordered, even though it was picked up from the restaurant. I called DoorDash and they said they couldnt help me, so I called Dickys. The gentleman was very nice and offered to remake my food if I didnt mind picking up since they were short staffed. I got there and the food was packed up quickly, and really good! Thank you for being so kind. I cant remember his name, but he had a nose piercing! Lol. Give that man a raise!

Would give zero if I could. Used the app to order last Sunday. It showed in que the entire time but thats whatever. Ordered some ribs, potato salad cabbage and a cookie. Ribs were overcooked bad and smelled like it.the The Potato salad was good but I would bet its bought somewhere else from what I already tasted. The cookie tasted rotten. Never in my life have I spit out a cookie. Decided to not try the cabbage. Whats worse than the food is the people working there that day felt it was acceptable to hand me that garbage. Food was great. Nothing crazy, but I ordered the #1, which is a burger style brisket. Pair it up with barbecue and pickles and youre settled for the day. The guy behind the counter tonight is SUPER RUDE. He needs to learn customer service skills or not be dealing with customers. Nobody was in the store but us and he was constantly rushing us, even after we asked him to stop. Then my daughter needed ketchup and I asked him for some and he threw his hand tot he side and said it s over there! I went looking for it just to find out they keep it in the back. The manager was extremely nice and helped me, but we will not be back!

Ad clearly states all kids eat free if they come in with a Halloween costume on.. we asked the guy behind the counter and he said yes All kids eat free. I am a single mother of 3 so when the lady tells me afterwards that they only eat free as long as their is an adult per child I was extremely disappointed. There were 2 other adults with me. They had their own check she could ve Mentioned that before we all had our separate checks. And again the ad it does not specify that there has to be one child per adult! Been coming here for a while. No more after today walked in and they got rude people behind the counter now kids and employees on their cell phones behind the counter. You guys shouldnt even get a damn star. Flat-out rude you guys should be put out a business here in Carrollton for the way that you talk to people and your service sucks not to mention the food was very terrible today. They got rude with me today after calling them out for all on them being on their cell phones while I was waiting for ice. The corporate office was notified and Im now waiting for the business owner to contact me. The way I see it I walk into a place of business the cell phone should not be in a employees hand or even in the workplace where food is at. All three individuals at this location of are all on their cell phones right behind the counter near the food. Two must have been real employees in the other one must have been a kid at least 15 years or younger maybe Mom and Dad owns the store. Only had to wait because they were on their cell phones what they were looking at I have no clue but there are definitely having a conversation and not paying much attention to me. They felt like they could talk out of the side of their mouth because no one else was in the store. Never again will I step foot at this location or any other Dickeys barbecue location ever again in my lifetime my family or friends will be doing the same we will not tolerate this kind of behavior when coming into a place of business where I spend my money at. This is a franchise location the owner should be ashamed of the service and the way his employees talk to people for being on their phones in general. Its not a good look when youre trying to be a successful business owner in a wonderful community like Carrollton people here respect the way we are treated. Good luck to you guys moving forward as a business if I had to guess youre on the path to failure.

Wife and I had a great time. Cozy place, good bbq and sides. If you want spicy or non spicy side veggies etc then mention it and they will guide you to the right ones. Good friendly service. Several good specials all the time. Remember to keep your yellow Dickeys cups!
