HORRIBLE ATTORNEY!!! MALPRACTICE!! Wish less than 1 star was even possible. She modified my husbands child custody and child support, never filed the signed order with the Attorney generals office and now they ve frozen my bank accounts. I have lost access to $9,000 when I owe no child support, have been taken off child support almost a year ago and I have 50/50 custody of my children. She won t answer the phone, answers emails once a week if you re lucky. Doesn t care about her clients. Wish we would have read reviews beforehand. Hoping this helps someone before they find themselves in the predicament only Lauren Cain could put them in. MALPRACTICE ATTORNEY.

Lauren Cain is THE BEST! I had a lawyer that literally sucked money out of me and did nothing. Mrs. Cain finished my case and was straight up about what it cost! How I heard about her is through a friend that her ex husband used Mrs. Cain. She said She is a beast and I recommend her over the lawyer I had my friend was right! If you are going through a divorce, first I want to say I m sorry and you will get through it! Second make the call to Mrs. Lauren Cains office! You won t regret it!

There are few family lawyers that are the quality and caliber of Lauren Cain. I faced her with very strong facts on my side and she did NOT give up fighting for her client. I was genuinely impressed. She was also honorable and good to deal with when we worked to find solutions to one of the most difficult cases of both her career and mine. We fought valiant battles in court and ultimately settled in a way that ended the fighting between our clients. But I can not say enough good things about her as an attorney. She is absolutely top-notch. Smart. Intelligent. Knowledgable. And a fighter who wont quit. Id hire her to represent my own loved ones. There are not enough good words in this world to say about Lauren. I was separated on Christmas Day, 2016, and had no idea what to do or who to turn to. I found Lauren, and even though it was just a day after Christmas, she kindly met me in her office. She immediately put me at ease and listened intently to everything I said. Laurens legal counsel during the next month not only strengthened me, but showed me I was worth more than what this divorce was trying to do to me. Everytime I wanted to throw in the towel and just end it without a fight, she reminded me again I was worth more than how I was feeling at the time. She went above and beyond for my girls and I, never wavering, never doubting that good would come from all the tragedy. And good did come, and she played a huge part in that chapter of my familys life. Mrs. Cain represented me in a very complex case of parental alienation a year after my divorce was final. She worked diligently with me for over 15 months! We had to try several different approaches including a Parent Facilitator and Amicus Attorney. In the end the judge granted a full flip. I am now the primary custodian of my three young children with the exclusive rights to all the major decisions in their lives. This type of case takes a LOT of time, money & patience! Mrs. Cain was very attentive and dedicated to my case and helped me to keep sight of the end goal through the daily grind of the legal system. She saved my relationship with my children! Ms. Cain is an absolutely phenomenal attorney! I was getting a divorce and she was so kind and helpful. She guided me every step of the way. Her advice was spot on and when it was all over, I ended up quite well off (which is not how most people feel after a divorce). I was considering divorce and had no idea where to turn or what to do after 26 years of marriage. I searched online and chose Lauren Cain based on what I read about her practice and after talking with her assistant Barry. I was not disappointed when I met with her. She consulted with me and showed such care and compassion and re-assured me that she would help me. I waited several months before I had the nerve to actually file and she was even more reassuring and caring. She represented me with complete professionalism. I went to Lauren when I felt my prior attorney wasnt hearing me and didnt seem concerned at all that my ex appeared to be on illicit drugs - no matter what evidence I brought him. Lauren listened to my concerns and immediately took action to ensure he was tested properly. My kids are safe now and this would not have happened without Lauren Cain! I was referred by my friend friends.This was the worst mistake ever. She is very unprofessional, she doesnt return calls. Once i obtained her as my divorce attorney I paid her in full immediately. In the process of her not responding to any of my correspondence my husband decided to go to counseling and put off the divorce. She finally reached out to me and I updated her of the situation and requested an invoice of what she had done (which was nothing)! And the remaining balance this was in December t is now February and I am still waiting! Each month a different excuse! Do not hire this lady! Run fast!

I hired Lauren Cain for a child custody case, from the start she was very easy to get a hold of and very understanding of all my needs. She was very big on finding all the details of the case and getting prepared for the case. During our time in court she had everything set and ready, this was our first temporary hearing. Everything went fast and easy, temporary orders were set and with her hard work there was no need to go to court again as both parties agreed on a final. During a stressful time like this it is great to have someone on your side that is willing to go the extra mile to help. I could not have made it through everything with out her by my side. I have read the other reviews blasting her and I would have to say that they are way off. I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone, seems to me that some of the negative reviews are just people who lost to her in court.....

This attorney is only a symptom of the corruption prevalant with the Collin County court system. This is a woman who claims to want to help the custodial parent get an equitable amount of child support during a divorce proceeding, yet represents deadbeat non-custodial parents and claims they have no job or assets, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. This attorney tells blatant lies within the courtroom and has absolutely no shame. I have serious questions about her mental stability. To those considering an attorney in a family law matter, I would strongly recommend staying away from Ms. Cain!

Ms. Cain was the opposing counsel in my divorce. Exactly as per the other reviews, I can confirm she held up the process: never in any office, didnt return phone calls, unresponsive to email and fax from my attorneys office. She was ALWAYS out of town or on vacation. Once we were able to agree on our own and had a prepared final agreed decree - she was unresponsive. I found her to be unprofessional and very unimpressive. I would strongly recommend anyone considering her to continue their search elsewhere.

I would somewhat agree with the other reviews. Helping someone with their divorce, she made the decree to benefit the other party more than the party she represented, some of it including alimony insisting on only filing it to help the other party and loss of a huge tax deduction. She is very hard to get ahold of, or get any return calls.

DO NOT USE HER!!ONCE SHE RECEIVED MY RETAINER SHE PROLONG MY CASE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I HAD TO THREATEN HER WITH THE BAR ASSOCIATE TO RECEIVE A RETURN CALLS. AFTER SEVERAL MONTH OF WAITING AND WAITING. I HAD TO FILED MY OWN PAPERWORK AND REPRESENT MYSELF. SHE IS ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY!!!!
