First time here. Got here very early in the morning and was greeted immediately. Our waitress, Nayeli was informative and attentive. We started out with the tater kegs. They disappeared quickly. We also got the chicken fried steak and eggs with buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy, classic breakfast and the big ol burrito and all of it was fantastic. Well be back.

Great breakfast place with good food and great service. We have gone twice and have had a good experience both times. Nicole has been our waitress twice and does a fantastic job. They are also very dog friendly we have brought our dog twice to eat on the patio . They will bring a water bowl for your fur baby to have water and always make a fuss over any fur baby that comes to eat. They have such an amazing friendly staff!

Such a fun place! The food was top notch. The baby Dutch pancake appetizer was off the chain good. Come hungry because it wont portions are big. One of the best dining experiences Ive had especially for breakfast. It also came out on a robotic server that sang to us(so cool!) Our server was very attentive as well. Loved it!

Luca is the best servers you guys have got he single handedly assaulted my flying city using non flying turtles stacked them all on top of each other and climbed them like ladder. Once he reached my moat he knocked upon my golden drawbridge and broke it in one knock. He overpowered my guards and made his way into my throne room simply to have an afternoon tea. What a relief that was for me, but the poor peasants are now overworked from the broken drawbridge. And my guards are demanding more wages from such tough fighting. Im impressed surprised and otherwise stupified from the skill. All in all would come again for another besieging thanks!

I went with my mother and we pretty much had a great experience from when we entered to when we left. The host was the manager. We had other servers greet us, and help us that were not our waiter to begin with. The food that we received was prepared quickly. Our waitress really did did have an effort to give us great customer service. The atmosphere was very well renovated. There was a robot that was helping the servers with food, but still the customer experience was very well received because of the human element in the store. The food was top tier. I will give a specific mention, that my mothers pancakes did have small chocolate chips, and chocolate chips at the bottom of each of those pancakes, which may seem lackluster, but smaller chocolate chips are easier and quicker to melt. And the biscuits and gravy that I had, the biscuits were surprisingly better than I anticipated. Because they were both a mixture of a biscuit and a roll together which kind of boggled my mind. I look forward to coming back again! (I recommend getting the turkey bacon and dipping it in the sausage gravy. )

Its extremely rare that I give a place 5 stars. In fact, I think this is my first time to do so, and its all due to our server. The very first thing my wife said after Chelsea greeted us was, Now, thats a good server. Its a very special occasion when my wife makes such a statement, so I had to let Chelsea know. Needless to say, she was extremely appreciative. Now, I have to tell you about the food. I ordered the Big Ol Breakfast Burrito and a side of biscuits and gravy. Why? I havent the faintest clue. Their portions are huge. The burrito almost reached side to side on the oval plate it was served on. The two big, steamy biscuits were served with a big bowl of gravy and not that teeny weeny bowl that most places use. And for those who enjoy eating outside in the coolness of the early morning, they have an amazing outdoor area. The bottom line is that I highly recommend Ol South Pancake House. You wont be disappointed! Parking: We went about 8:30 in the morning, so parking was not an issue.

OlSouth food has gone downhill. The Dutch baby was mediocre and the pancakes were tough. They are pre cooking the pancakes and then keeping them warm. Pancakes needed a boatload of syrup to be edible. Bacon was below average. They have premium prices for below average food. Will not return after going for two yrs and seeing this place slide into an abyss of bad food.

I have been to the Ft. Worth restaurant often, but this was my first time going to the Burleson location. The Burleson location was very similar in appearance on the inside but newer and fresher looking. The staff was friendly, prompt, and cheched on us often. The food was yummy. I was impressed all around and will be back to eat. The robot was fun to see, and I loved seeing children interactions with it.

During our first Texas holiday we stayed in Burleson and went to Ol South Pancake House for lunch and breakfast. The service was great and the portions were huge. The hamburgers were juicy and we loved the crunchy tater tots. We are Germans but we didnt know the German Pancake. The friendly waitress explained it and we ordered it the next day. We were amazed at the preparation at the table and I liked the lemon taste. My husband had the breakfast sandwich with lots of cheese - also delicious.

Wasnt near as good as I expected. To me it was like the equivalence of ihop or Waffle House as far as food quality but better environment/decor. I got the egg Benedict and it was just like 2 slices of Kraft a cheese melted on top didn t taste like decent cheddar cheese. I got the Belgian waffles with strawberry and blueberries. It tasted like the batter. Wasn t doughy but the taste was like almost raw, the fruit wasn t fresh, squishy thawed out frozen fruit. I absolutely love this restaurant. Its ideal for breakfast, which is served all day, and it is honestly really good. Fresh clean and their staff its always frently. The food was really good. The serving size is a good amount for the price. The only thing I didnt like was how oily the bacon dippers were. The taste was great but the oil was just too much. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Came here to eat breakfast and it was the worst experience ever!! If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered an omelette with the small stack of pancakes. The pancakes came out hard and the omelette had absolutely no taste. Putting salt on it didn t do any justice. My boyfriend ordered their pork chops with sunny side up eggs and grits. The grits were extremely dry and both the eggs and pork chop was overcooked. We both agreed we won t ever be back to this establishment.

I remember many of fun nights that ended at Ol South in Fort Worth! This location is okay, but just... The food was okay, but not as good as I remembered from FTW, there was a long wait with mediocre service and it cost $130 for 3 adults and 1 child... We got the Dutch Baby sampler and they were soggy as if they were cooked in a ruch. Eggs were over cooked as well as the bacon. Perhaps if they spent less money on the gimmick robot server and more on quality employees they could bring up the standards

Stuff happens, it s whatever this has always been a good place to eat. I had a problem with the bacon 1 time, the food manager lady was rude and offensive over it. I understand sometimes manufacturers send a bad product that s not the restaurant s fault I was totally kind and understanding I just skipped eating it but the food lady was rude when I said they may want to check the freshness of their product for safety reasons. I don t even eat bacon it was just a side no harm. Skip forward a couple of months I still visit and haven t thought much of the bacon incident as I don t even eat bacon. Happened to see the manager lady and her scowl again this morning, idk why the attitude like the bacon weeks ago wasn t my fault. Don t shoot the messenger. Her lack of peace is her own issue not mine. Anyways it took over 20 minutes to get our order, then I found a hair baked in the waffle. No biggie. I know it wasn t mine as I have my hair pulled tightly back in buns. Mistakes happen. It s ok. They kindly replace the plate, rude manager lady arrives again with the new plate and has the nerve to fake smile at me. I wasn t upset till I found hair #2. There was hair in my plate again I didn t even ask for a to go box or fuss I just paid my bill, tipped and left quietly. The wait staff are always kind no matter how busy it is. Bless them. The food always tastes good. My problem is the 2 hairs on 2 separate plates during the same visit and the manager lady. Reader; you judge if the second hair was on purpose or a crazy coincidence :)
