They werent very welcoming when we went. No smiles or warmth. Maybe just the front counter upon us entering. Tacos al pastor and tripas tacos were good. The beans had a lemon taste to them. They werent enjoyable. They were probably going bad. One of the salsa verdes was spicy but lacked flavor. Our waiter only had my girlfriend and me as his customers. He waited until the end, when we had finished our meals and was picking up our trash, to finally ask if everything was all right. There were only 5 people (including us) in the entire restaurant. Id been looking forward to visiting this place for months. Never going back to this location.

My husband and I went there for dinner tonight. The place is clean and well attended. The service was prompt and courteous. The tacos were oh so very good. We were delighted. Even the cookies we bought on the way out right on point. If you haven t been there yet, we encourage you to give them a try. Our waiter told us that they have the tacos on special on Tuesday s.

Never again!! .. shouldve known from the 1st time at a family disgusting set up in a Taquiza event, Dirty EVERYTHING!!! 2nd stop, DINE IN visit at 802 Location. What horrible, & demeaning service where they will NOT give you water. At choking point, No concern, I could barely speak.. unless you pay for bottle water. You aint getting any. Granted, not a Biggie , just directly ordered from the OWNER, NO FREE WATER,,, I Get it. charge the dam drink cup, Bring the water. IM CHOKING and give me faucet ice water. bottled, WHATEVER!! NOPE, you can choke to death here . Yet instead, Server reiterated. OWNER SAYS... NO FREE WATER Unless its bottled. You aint getting it! I can pay No biggie ,, wanted Ice , which I initially asked for with the bottled soda I ordered from the get go. NEVER ARRIVED!! Then a complete going back and forth session of, I cant give you water as per the Owner! Again, & again, still at choking point!! In complete disbelief Server spins around to bring water in the most demeaning act of serving 6 oz of water in a flat soufflé cup. Really. WOW !! MIGHT AS WELL HAVE PUT IT ON THE FLOOR AND ASKED TO START LICKING. DOG SERVICE !! MY MESSAGE TO THE OWNER ,, YOU LOST A GOOD POTENTIAL CUSTOMER AND NEVER WILL I EAT AT YOUR DESPICABLE TACO STAND MENTALITY OF AN ESTABLISHMENT. super tiny tacos and tortas! i genuinely can t believe they could make such tiny food. the tacos de bistec looked so bland and i asked for them with everything.. all they put was cilantro and onion.. WHERES THE AVOCADO? isn t that the most basic ingredient to a taco.. the salsa verde also was so meh, i have no idea how you mess up a salsa verde but they managed to do that. would ve been nice if they included onion on the side like every other taqueria place if they can t even make decent sized food

I just drove 20 minutes to that taqueria to get my order. I wrongly ordered 3 cakes and they only sent 1 and its just an apology. Tomorrow well give it to them because its already closed, as if an apology would fix it. Theyre doing everything the right way, since This is not the first time they have made my orders wrong.

The tacos are good, but BE CAREFUL. Check the prices carefully because when you scan their menu they give you a price and when they charge you it is a more expensive one. I asked the cashier why and she told me because the prices have not been updated. ??? In short, they charge you what they want. Some foods like tacos were charged .5 cents more for each one, charra beans .10 cents more but other products like coca up to .50 cents more. And for the Jamaican waters that say 2.99 on their menu, they charged me 4.50 because it is fresh water. The truth is very confusing.

I asked the concierge at my hotel for a suggestion for dinner and she pointed me here. The food was amazing. The owner provided me with a couple of extra salsa combinations which enhanced the flavor. Definitely worth the stop.

Food is good, but management is making some decitions not too customer friendly. First I cant order what used to be my favorite food because the fryer has not worked for almost a year and they have not purshased a new one. And the latest and I think is absurd, you CANNOT ORDER A GLASS OF WATER, waiters were told not to serve tap water. This is the first place of all restaurants ive been that force you to purshase bottled water.

Worst service ever. Second time this happens with this establishment. I ordered dinner trough @doordash the order was incomplete. I didnt received my drinks. I call to complain and joanna didnt even offer a reinsbursement for the drinks. I asked her to talk to supervisor and she denied. I feel robbed. They should have sent my drinks via doordash just the same way i paid for the service. I will never go back.

The tacos are great. I used to order for delivery but have been going to dine in lately. My friends asked me to try the suadero and molleja ones and I will definitely be ordering them again. If I could write this place, zero stars, I would. The owner is incredibly disrespectful and entitled and has absolutely no patience for anyone. If you re hoping for help or wanted to have a conversation and be polite as possible this is not the place to come. Liked going there and eating taquitos with my wife.. great atmosphere.. music was a bit loud. Couldnt concentrate on the food.. still. Had a great time there. We was starting the Brownsville Taco Trail. I forgot to use my coupon, but we had 9 tacos a very small bowl of bean soup and a water for $14 so the price was good. The tacos where delicious. They brought out heated salsa also. What I didnt like was the use a lot of styrofoam. Though the tacos came on a plastic tray with a liner.

One of the greatest local taquerías if you know how to order. Most people accidentally order traditional tacos (which are smaller in size and only contain cilantro and onion). I recommend trying the first time just 3 tacos de bistek and 3 de tripa (at any style). Make sure they are regular tacos and not traditional. I believe thats the best thing this taquería has to offer. Sometimes service is worthy of 2 stars, sometimes of 5. Understandably, this place tends to have lots of orders and they take a long time to have them ready. Normally they only take 10-15 minutes.

Today, October 17, 2022, around 7 pm, the floor smelled like pure choquia, it was very unpleasant to eat the tacos with that smell. The mop must be clean and washed with chlorine and or disinfectants before using it again...All the The environment must be clean, especially because it is a food business. This place is way overrated. We went as a casual dinner, 3 couples with family only to be overcharged, and waiter telling us this BS about our order being small tacos not the regular meat bigger tacos. I wonder what kind of meat are the small ones????. Sister in law order a shredded meat tostada and what she got was a lettuce tostada. This place was recommended, instead we left very dissapointed. This place is a one and done taqueria! New review, 10/7/21: we have visited this place 3 times in the last month and they are nothing like before. Friendly people and tacos are delicious .
