Delicious cinnamon rolls! Gluten free options. Cute and cozy place to sit and visit while enjoying a hot drink. A bit disappointed though. Ordered to go. Got in the car to check my order; glad I did. I was missing part of my order. They promptly filled it but I had only ordered 5 items and there wasn t a line or crowd. As well, expected the breakfast sandwich to be a bit more robust with all the hype about it and the cost. Flakey crust, kind of bland. And the ham didn t span across the entire sandwich. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free. Kid-friendliness: Restrooms onsite. Places to sit. Not a lot of trinkets to mess with. Outdoor seating surrounded by a fence.

I love 1541, the coffee is great! I enjoy their cortados a lot. I also really enjoy their pastries. I would also say compared to most coffee shops in BCS the price is much more reasonable for coffee! My husband and I like to go for early morning coffee dates.

I came looking to try something new, and I was by Walmart, so I figured I could try 1541. I was craving a cinnamon roll . I usually get a latte made with heavy cream at other places, so thats what I got. The food and coffee did not disappoint, delicious. I like the vibe here, its what you think of when you think about a coffee shop. Definitely would come again if Im in this part of town.

A very quaint coffee shop located a bit far from campus, but still a very enjoyable place to study and/or hangout at. Good variety of selections - the coffee I made was a dark chocolate caramel latte. It was good enough, but perhaps I would like to try one of their recommendations or classics. Didn t try their pastries, but they have lots of choices in there too. Service is very friendly and prices are what you d expect at a homely coffee shop.

How I wish I had tried this cafe sooner! Today I stopped by for the first time and ordered a honey-lavendar latte and ham & cheese turnover. Delicious! The latte was smooth and rich with flavor. They even took the time to make a cute dog on my latte. The turnover was savory and yummy with plenty of ham. The staff were very kind and helpful with suggestions. There are plenty of little tables and chairs both inside and out if you just want to relax or study. Ill be back to try more for sure :)

Complex, delicious, perfectly brewed black coffee. Although I have not tried specialty drinks, enjoyed the delightful artistic renderings in companions lattes. How do they do that? The signature poblano turnover is flaky and earthy and rich. A serendipitous treat was the aroma of the roasting of poblanos and baking of the turnovers. The friendly owner, Sam, welcomed us and shared the romantic story behind the 1541 name: the founding year of the city in which he and his wife were married.

I had heard such good things about this place that I was a bit disappointed. The 3 lattes we ordered took more than 25 minutes to make which is basically unacceptable. They were good and there was a design in one of them but they said they did not have time to do the other 2. If you like good coffee, STAY FAR AWAY. If your thinking about going to study... please reconsider your options. Their wifi was terrible, at the beginning I was the only one there. After a few people showed up, my wifi completely stopped working. I went today and my cold brew tasted like nasty old water. The employees were nice and that is the only thing that deserves a star. One guy was extremely nice. This elderly man (maybe the owner or the manager) was quite rude.Then a couple hours later the wifi wasnt working again. Also, it smells pretty gross in there.

The coffee is really good, and so is the environment. The staff is very friendly as well. My only problem is the laminated (croissant like) pastries are VERY waxy. I dont know how else to describe it. They leave a waxy film coating your mouth when you eat them. Other than that, its pretty great.

Went for pastry and coffee. Not really a selection of pastries. Drip coffee was very watery with little flavor. A focus on a variety of pastries and stronger coffee would help.

Theingredients used in making the pastries here, are uncomparable to any other pastry shop in the area. The care that is taken in the food is admirable. An amazing cost effective breakfast, lunch, or dinner. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I meet

THE BEST TURNOVERS! The female barista this morning was so attentive to how I sweet I wanted my coffee and got it PERFECT on the first try! I love how homemade and authentic everything is.
