How much common sense does it take to put the tortillas strips in tortilla soup on the side for a DoorDash delivery? Duh. Who wants soggy tortilla strips? ? And apparently they don t put cheese in their soup like the menu says, just raw jalapeños, which make it fiery hot, no actual soupiness just soaked rice &soggy tortilla strips? This could have been delicious. The up charge on DoorDash is outrageous for two quesadillas & the soup. It was $50! The quesadillas were Sloppy tasted awful. Saddened.

The place is nice. It has plenty of tvs to show different games. Beer is good. Service from waitress was great. Food was ok. Mix drink was eh. There was a DJ playing some good music but then the live band started playing and killed the vibe. My experience was good but the drink and the band threw me off.

As a visitor to Brownsville, I had a negative experience at the Ojos Locos establishment there. I ordered food and received it late, just 30 minutes prior to closing time. The manager, Elia, approached me and told me I had only two minutes to finish my meal, without any personal acknowledgement. Later, while I was still eating, she returned and asked me to leave, even though I still had food on my plate. I felt uncomfortable with her unprofessional behavior, especially when she stood next to me with security. As a manager, she should have handled the situation with more care and professionalism. I would recommend that the management team provide Elia with some professional training to improve her customer service skills, as this kind of behavior can harm the reputation of the establishment. I hope that the Ojos Locos management team will take this feedback into account and make necessary improvements to ensure that customers have a positive experience when visiting.

Horrible service on a Sunday evening. Sat down at the bar, had to get my own menu because no one offered me one after five minutes, and it took the bartender another five minutes to take my drink order. Another 20 mins passed with no offer to take my food order; meanwhile, other patrons entered and had drinks in hand and food orders placed. I finally asked for my bill, and it took an additional 10 minutes and a conversation with the manager to even get that. The manager just simply shrugged and said, well, we re pretty busy tonight. I will not be back. On another note, the music was blaring, almost gave me a headache.

I came in for a couple of beers and to watch MNF. This is the 4th Ojos Locos Ive been to and I got the best service tonight here. My drink was never empty, my food came out quick, and the waitress continously checked on me. If you come to this restaurant ask for Aly. I know Ill be requesting her next time I come. I came back a second night and had another excellent experience. Nachos, tacos, and beer. Who could complain? Unfortunately Ally was off, but Moni took excellent care of me. Helped me pick a shot and choose my food. I cant tell you how many times I asked about menus and not gotten good feedback. Moni navigated the menu with me and sold me on a delicious dinner. This place is top notch with the best wait staff. Thank you Ally and Moni for excellent service.

This is a Hooters style restaurant, but serves Mexican food. Being in Brownsville, there are obviously better Mexican restaurants. Ojos Locos is closer to Chilis than authentic Mexican food. The service is the reason to go. The waitresses are nice, friendly and often very pretty.

My respects to the girls that do this kind of work. The service has to improve. Notice several tables that had to get up and order directly from the bar because waitresses were not available. I did notice staff outside (south) of the building and my guess with a team leader when the help is needed inside. I did notice several girls coming in and standing by the kitchen door, and when only one girl was taking care of 7 tables while I assumed the rest were getting ready to come in. Well, that was not the case. They were also taken outside with the team leader, and I do understand they have to get instruction but cant forget about the rest. To top it off, my 12 wings were raw twice. Yes, twice. They took them and brought it back raw and incomplete as well. Will go back hoping service improves.

we ve been here multiple times.. even after having the worst service before we tried again. But tonight tops them all- walking in we were carded with our 6 year old with us and then the security stated he needed to do a pay down. My husband questioned it as we ve been here multiple times and everytime we ve had our kids and never had to be patted down to come in. Once inside we waited 23 mins before a waiter came to the table/ we ordered drinks and then waited another 15 mins to even get them. After giving them multiple chances this will be our last attempt which sucks cause Brownsville really doesn t have a lot of good sports places to eat, enjoy sports and be family friendly.
