Lack luster at best.... My wife and I went here tonight for date night. Ill state the good first because its easy, the rest is alllllllllllll wrong... Food was good, not great but good. Enchiladas and a mixed plate I believe they called it. Ordered a couple of margaritas and tasted like watered down juice. So bring a flask if you plan to order a drink. Dont let the liquor bottles fool you on the shelf in the bar they are for decoration purposes only. The music was wayyyy toooo loud, yeah I know I sound old but there is jammin out in the car level and restaurant level... they obviously thought they had the windows down on I-35 headed south. Server was non attentive, had to flag her down for everything we needed and when we went to pay I saw here taking chips from the warming drawer and dipping it in the queso well and eating them. Needless to say date night was a bust on the food but at least I had a hot date and good company!!! Go somewhere else... it just aint worth it.

Came for breakfast. Had a little bit of everything. I could tell by the color of the menudo was going to be good. What I didn t expect was the smokey flavor from the meat. Different I will say. Delicious and tender! Everything was great. They were a little busy when we arrived so service needed some time to adjust to volume. Food had no delay despite the rush.

HOLY COW! This is by far one of the best Mexican food restaurants. I came to Belton on a day trip with my mom, and we stopped for a small bite to eat. The enchiladas, so cheesy, the tacos, the perfect meat to cheese ratio, the crunchy shell was magnificent. The chalupa, piled high with meat and guacamole and cheese. Queso was amazing. To top it off we had a slice of tres leches cake. It made our hearts happy happy. Will most definitely be driving up from Austin again in the near future to dine here again. 12 out of 10.

Been here several times, usually food is good. I had chicken tortilla soup to go. My family brought it home to me after they had dinner, Not impressed at all. No chips but they sent red and green salsa. Not much chicken but I added some sour cream, cheese and pita chips! Lol Dogs will enjoy it

One of our favorite local spots to eat at and visit. The food is delicious, comes out hot every time. The only thing that I would have to say is based on how popular it is, the parking is tight when they are busy and the dining area can seem small when busy as it can be hard to walk through. That does not stop us from being regulars !

I would not recommend eating here. Walking through the door it smells like cleaning chemicals instead of food. Our food came out fairly quick but there was so many flies. My boyfriend ate a few bites of his super burrito and realized they added extra cheese because he asked for no chorizo. This made the burrito way too cheesy. He brought it to the servers attention and the manager and both refused to help or accommodate.

We are from Dallas, and when we travel down south, this is a must stop for us. It never disappoints, and food is delicious. The only downside is the wait time. We got there during lunchtime, and there was a wait. Is well worth the wait tho. We love this place.

This place is like eating with your family. They have the best lengua tacos in the area, ask for cebolla asada, they treat their customers with love. The mocajete is amazing. On Tuesday they have $1 ground beef crispy tacos. I brought 3 hungry teenagers and we got the guacamole live (9.99) and one drink and for 4 people our bill was $34. Paulita is so kind and Miguel has made me cry with his kindness and humanity.

We have been longtime customers on this place and it is the best Mexican restaurant in Belton food wise. This place has always had a problem with service however. There is always plenty of staff milling about but they don t seam to be doing anything. This last time our server brought our drinks and said she would come back to get our order even though we were ready. She never came back. After about 15 minutes I had to go to the front counter and ask for service because we couldn t get anyone s attention. We finally got our order taken and had to wait another 20 minutes for two breakfast tacos and a burrito. All our orders were wrong. This is the worst experience we have had. Normally it s just a problem with drink refills, you get youre food and the waitress disappears for the rest of youre meal. Parking: Lot in front and back of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is friendly for well behaved kids. Restaurant is small and not well suited for undisciplined kids. You will annoy others if you re kid is misbehaving.

This place must be very popular because we were here at a time I wouldnt expect to be that busy (lunch on a weekday), but it was very busy. We didnt have to wait, though, and service was still good. I was impressed that they were able to have such good service even with this place being packed, almost all the tables in use. The best things about this restaurant were the price and the freshness and quality of the ingredients. This place was cheap and the serving size was good. Tex-Mex food is often heavy but this place wasnt. Not only did the food taste great, but we felt great after eating here, a hallmark of a place that knows how to cook. This was a great place to stop for lunch and then get on with our day.

The best Tex-Mex/Mexican food restaurant in Belton and Temple. Always good to great food. A little weakness in their fajita meat and its marinating. So fajitas are good but not great. We had lunch here yesterday, party of 10. No reservations, but they took us in and handled everything smoothly. The chips and salsa arrived along with menus as soon as we are seated. You got 2 choices of salsa, the cold one is the one you would normally see, and the warm one is more smooth version. The chips are amazing and I personally prefer the cold salsa with it. We ordered variety of food from sour cream enchilada, tostada dinner, quesadilla, and one of us even brave enough to order the Mexican Burrito. All orders came without any mishaps and everyone satisfied with their orders. The portions are more on the big side and everything came with delicious mexican rice and beans. Vegetarian options: Maybe this is not vegan friendly, but they definitely are vegetarian friendly. You can sub all kinds of meat to either beans or cheese.

The steak fajitas would be better sold as fajitas jerky they were so tough. I shared the information with the waitress & cashier but they wanted to replace with chicken fajitas. If I wanted chicken fajitas I would have order chicken fajitas. The biggest issue is they took no responsibility for the bad quality and blamed it on their suppliers. Parking: They don t need parking for me as I will never return but if you elect to eat bad food with a staff that take no responsibility for their food qualityi get there early as there is not much room for parking.

Wasnt really a big fan of Hispanic food until I ate here. I always make the drive to Mi Pueblo. Always trying something different on the menu everytime and everytime the food has been outstanding and Hot when it made it to my table.
