Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always topped off. Her friendly demeanor made us feel welcomed and valued as customers. What stood out the most was how the entire team worked seamlessly together; we never felt neglected, even during busy times. The wait for our food was minimal, and the staff checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the service at Meños was exceptional, enhancing our dining experience. I wanted to take my family out for dinner, which we dont do often bc everything is so expensive. My husband pulled 2 hairs out of his food. I felt so bad bc he couldnt even finish his food. I cant blame him. When I told it to the waiters, she didnt even flinch. which makes me feel like this is normal here. This will make us definitely not go out to eat again for a long time. Food is way too expensive to be wasted. Plus the amount of money people spend....we will definitely not be back. This was our first and last time at this establishment.

I had the Beef Fajitas, and let me tell you, they were the best Fajitas Ive ever had. The meat to Vegetable Ratio was perfect, and the slicing of the meat and vegetables was done in a way so that eating was easy and you didnt have to look like caveman eating . Tender and flavorful. The Fajitas were amazing .. 5 stars for the quality and presentation. The service on beverages and condiments was slow. But the food was awesome. Cant wait to return . In town for business and told to meet here for lunch with corporate boss who was also from out of town. I was skeptical upon arriving that the food was going to be good . let me say I apologize sincerely. The food was fantastic.

Weve been in Killeen for two years and I finally got a chance to go. Well its as good as people say. The service was impeccable, friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere was relaxing, family friendly but theres a night out kind of vibe I loved it. I don t know why I continue to order from this place because each time I order something I m never completely satisfied!!! Today I ordered through the drive thru and the man with glasses aggressively snatched my debit card after I requested sour cream!!! For my order. I was under the assumption it came with it and he had a horrible attitude I also feel like they discriminate. The moment they have to serve someone of color -their attitude changes. I hate this place. Overrated with mediocre food. Not to mention that the dining experience is cold. The food was great and are server he was amazing, but the manager was rude and disrespectful. Fist interaction with her was are server asked if the patio was still open he came back said we were good to sit wherever on the patio. So we go and the manager comes out and in the most rude and disrespectful tone I have ever heard said what are you doing this is closed. We politely said ok that s fine so we went inside she said sit wherever you like then said no you guys sit in the corner. I said to myself why tell us to sit wherever and then proceeded to choose to where we sit. During are dinner you can tell the staff do not like working with her and she s disrespectful to them as well with eye rolling and not caring about the guests that can clearly see the disrespect and carelessness that she has. My final interaction was when I was paying not only did she seem annoyed that I was waiting to pay with her standing right there but hearing her talk to the customer in the drive thru I would have just drove off hearing that over the intercom. If we do return and see that manager working we will be walking out.

Went to order takeout and asked if I can substitute the taco meat of ground beef or shredded chicken for shredded beef. The employee who took my order had an attitude because I asked a couple of times to make sure. I asked twice since two weeks prior when my family and I dined in, the waitress who took our order stated I could when asked in which I told the same to the employee who took my drive thru order. If you don t like your job, find another but to be condescending and act as if I was a bother to you was crazy. Any other person would ve reacted differently.

This was the worst food ever! I was shocked by how not good this food is. The crispy tacos were soggy because they put the lettuce and tomatoes on top of the tacos. To-go order consisted of 1 taco of Barbara, 1 taco Carne Guisada, and the regular Carne Guisada plate. Unfortunately, Im a tough critical on Tex-Mex food because Im from S. Texas, bit here it goes: rice was very similar in color and texture to my Grandmas rice, but the taste was neutral. Its not bland and not bad. It was fair. The beans were the same, fair. There are no issues with either. The Carne Guisada, on the other hand, needs some work. Im not sure if the cook taste their own food, because at 1st bite, you can taste the overabundance of salt. Im cool with the red sauce, kind of used to it living north of San Antonio, but it every bite was distinctly salt flavored. Overtook the gravy and meat flavor. The tacos werent an issue except the Carne Guisade one. Dont wxpect the flour tortillas to be homemade, but menu says their corn tortillas are so theres that. The Barbacoa was good but a wet greasy that soaked through the whole tortilla. Barbacoa is greasy, so not so much of an issue, but order extra tortillas if you order tp go Barbacoa tacos. The staff was very attentive and quick, the place was clean, and the parking was easy. Ive ordered through the drive thru about 2 years ago, and then my burrito was just messy. Gave the place a whirl today. Place looks great on the outside, pictures look great, and I had hoped to make this place a top 3 in my search for good Tex-Mex food in the Killeen/ Harker Heights area. They had a great crowd come thru, so thats good for Menos, but Im not sure if I will come back any time soon.

When the food is good, its great but there is NO consistency with how the food is made. I stopped getting the breakfast skillet because the amounts would always be drastically different. One day, its be chock full of steak and peppers and onions and the cheese sauce, then the next week it would have maybe 3 good size pieces of steak and a single piece of bell pepper and then mostly potatoes and maybe a pinch of cheese. I started getting the Cowboy Taco for breakfast, which is expensive because theres avocado and brisket. Just ate two that had nothing but what seemed like the bits left in the pan like they ran out of brisket but still made the tacos. It was mainly egg and potatoes. Couldnt even taste the avocado either. Save your time on unsatisfactory food, and go to the clear creek location. It may be a bit more greasy there but its been consistent everytime we went there. Also, the cowboy tacos SLAP at the Clear Creek location. Like close your eyes while youre chewing type.

What is the purpose of having a drive thru window if it takes 20-30 minutes to get your food?? Chips and queso and two tacos + one quesadilla should never take that long. It was absolutely ridiculous. First and last time at this location. Food is mediocre but service was terrible. Not worth it. They have black out windows so you can t see anything on the inside. So after you receive your food if you need anything else you have to sit and honk your horn and hope they hear it to come back to the window. After waiting well over 20 minutes I checked my food & tried to honk the horn to get someone to come back to the window and was unsuccessful. Highly dissatisfied.

Something happen over years I went Friday night late the food we order was bland. I ordered a quadilla and large beef burrito. Next 3 days I was sick and still queezey periodically running to the head. I would not eat there again.

Good food all around. I do feel our waitress couldve Checked on us a little more. They werent busy, we never got checked on or asked if we want refills after we were given our food. I did have to look for our waitress so we could pay. Other than that it was good.

Came here to pick up a Doordash. I was left standing for a while as staff walked past me; however, the customers at the tables seemed to be enjoying themselves. Plenty of parking.

I ORDERED FROM DOORDASH THE SUPREME BURRITO I SPECIFICALLY SAID NO TOMATO IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ON TOP OF THAT YALLLLLLLLL IM SO SAD AND MAD I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD AND THIS DID IT FOR ME NEVER HAD AN ISSUE OR WROTE A REVIEW BEFORE BUUUUUT THIS RIGHT HERE NOOOPE THE AVOCADO STILL HAD THE SKIN WITH THE SCANNING TAGGGGG !! I arrived in the drive thru line at 9:40am I didnt get to the window to pay until 10:20am The manager tell me it s not fast food and the wait is the same as inside. Unbelievable. I asked to be compensated for my time of course I didn t get one. I got to the pick up line at 10:30am. So I finally received my food at 10:35am. And this is the second time I experienced this. This food is not that good to be waiting in line this long. Also you can t get out of the line. So you are forced to wait. Unacceptable.

they are so nice , the food comes quick you don t have to wait 2/3 hours lol , I really enjoy the food and the music and the staff are respectful & kind . Parking: very easy finding a parking spot not difficult at all

We never received any food to rate. Sat there 15 to 20 minutes with nothing to eat or drink and no one approached us to take our order. It was about 3pm on a weekend and not busy at all. After all that time, we left!
