Update 2- BEWARE! This attorney comments on reviews and uses the persons full name, age, ethnicity, and citing case notes, meaning that he doesnt respect client confidentiality. What does a clients ethnicity have to do with their review for a bad experience! I had my own bad experience but to see how this man is dragging multiple reviewers is disgusting. Please look at this mans reviews. He is condescending to clients, wether they hire him or not. As you will see there have been many bad reviews left. *Update- There is now more I must add to this review. This attorney is now emailing me telling me to stop whining when I questioned why he only put Decline. Literally, one word responce to me requesting a consultation- Decline. I have been more professional in my responses than he has. Its absurd to do business like he is. My appologies sir but you are not the brightest crayon in the box... I put down a $3,000 retainer yesterday for my attorney, who is a wonderful man and chatted with me for almost 2 hours before I paid him. If you would actually speak with people rather than assume they dont even have $20 youre never going to actually work. If you had responded with anything except Decline, who knows, you could have been paid yesterday. You chose to be extremely standoffish in your reply. I msgd again asking why you said Decline when I had not been offered a proper consultation. Obviously you seem too busy to actually handle your own business with couth and tact so I am thankful you will not be my representation in court. Original review post- Offers consultation but does not actually. I emailed requesting a consultation and to possibly hire him. Their office also offers 45 min consultations for $20. He simply wrote back Decline. Dont waste your time contacting this guy because he doesnt even want to work.

Hired him as a JUVENILE defense lawyer. My son was THIRTEEN years old accused of touching his then girlfriends breast. When her father found out it miraculously turned into non consentual contact, surprise surprise, so she wouldnt get in trouble. This man is unnecessarily rude and insulting. If you ask a question he will call you stupid or tell you youre slow for not understanding. He didnt even read the entire discovery from the prosecution!!! He stopped answering my calls after he majorly dropped the ball in my sons trial. He told me he would do certain things and ask certain questions to witnesses in the trial that he never did. He called a black man the n-word during jury picking. He disappeared from the courtroom after the verdict and wont answer my calls so I can ask about an appeal, or the next step. Very disappointing! Dont waste your time or money on this pathetic excuse of a lawyer! Updates to respond to his comment: how dare you put personal case info on a public review and make your response seem like it was an adult being charged with a sexual crime against a child. They were BOTH children! I have filed a grievance through the state bar against you.

This lawyer is a fraud and completely sucks!!!!! Please stay away and plus hes rude and arrogant. Im not a fraud he defended my wife in the 90s when I was stationed at Fort Hood Texas and of course lost. Should have went with Dan Corbin and associates.

Mr. brown is a great attorney who knows what he is talking about . He may come off as rude or nonchalant but he s just an old school guy. He got my ABFM case dismissed in a very short time and he is affordable. All god in my books , I would use his services again if I ever had to

Mr. Brown was a pleasure to work with, he was very blunt which is what I wanted. Also helped me see the light in this all which I greatly appreciate. He went over everything with us through Zoom which worked perfectly for me and the case ended in a dismissal. Beyond thankful to him for his help.

Mr Brown was hired by our family to represent a family member in a criminal matter. I am a criminal attorney myself with over 21 years of experience and Im licensed to practice law in Maryland, DC, and Federal Court and I can say that Mr. Brown is by far 1 of the worst, rudest and unprofessional attorneys that I had ever come across. Although I was a witness in the case he refused to interview me. In fact ironically I received more assistance from the prosecutor who was prosecuting my family member. I was truly disappointed and if you are considering hiring this guy, consider this review and also look at other reviews on Yelp, I wish I could have given this guy negative stars, because one star is way too much h

Before I even called Mr. Brown I had read his reviews. and let me tell you these reviews pretty much tell you a lot about this lawyer. Just called his cell phone Im assuming, and Mr. Brown answers, He was very rude and very unprofessional. My uncle who is incarcerated at the moment, found him and ask me to call him so I can talk to him and possibly hire him. I simply asked if we could go to his office and talk and and officially use him as my uncles lawyer, He cut me off and said First of all I dont meet with anyone so if you need to meet with a lawyer you need to find another lawyer and hung up. I couldnt help but laugh. Because clearly this lawyer hangs up on everyone. Seems to me he picks and chooses the clients he want to take.

Called and the answering assistant said he couldnt help me. So, I was good with that. He called me. I explained the situation and he asked questions which I answered to the best of my ability. It was not good enough and he hung up on me. After reading all the bad reviews, I am so glad he did...found someone else Edited for response purposes... Sir...you dont know what you are talking about nor do you understand the situation. In our short conversation, I explained the no contact order per probation. Why did you call me anyway if your own personnel said you couldnt help? Please cease and desist. I left a review based on our conversation while looking for representation. You decided to handle it the way you did. Take care

I was facing an assault case in Copperas Cove, Coryell County, Texas and hired another lawyer in Bell County. After paying half the fee up front ($1750) with cash, I might add nothing was done with my case, and I was facing trial with nothing to show for it. So I refused to pay the rest of the fee, and was facing trial alone. Then I found out about F. Edward Brown. He is a very knowledgeable, professional, and down to earth. I paid a retainer to him a week before my trial took place. In just that one week Ed got all my paperwork taken care of, discovery was made available to me instantly, and best of all my case was dismissed!!! I would highly recommend him as an attorney. Very responsive and skilled negotiator.

I had a pending felony charge thatstopped my progression into the military. No lawyer in Central wanted to try my case except Mr. Brown. He gave me a free consultation, and told me exactly what he was going to do. His price was very reasonable, and made me sign a contract holding himself accountable. Not only did he handle my case in a timely manner during COVID-19, I got a dismissal judgement.

I called to get information. I am a person that ask questions to be clear and on the same page as I do not deal with the law very much I like to have a understanding. He got upset and said I was slow and he didnt want to work with me, then hung up on me. Very unprofessional to handle a potential client like this. I would not hire him.

BEWARE Never have I came across someone so rude! Tried explaining my situation and he hung up, I called back thinking we might have just been disconnected and he said he hung up because I need to speak up and then he actually hung up on me again! His lose and I will be reporting him and keeping the public informed on his behavior.

Mr. Brown is knowledgeable, professional and communicated effectively on his thoughts and possible outcomes for my case based on his experience. I really appreciate his honesty and sincere approach. He started looking into my case quickly and didnt hesitate to obtain anything that pertained to my case. Hopefully my case can be solved out of the courtroom but if not hes definitely the guy!

Update to owner: False. I had a traffic ticket, I told you the exact county and traffic offense. You quoted me a price, I said thankyou and I would be in touch with you shortly. You said if I don t want to hire you right then and there then don t call back. You hung up and then I called the M Duane Miller law office.He is a wonderful lawyer and handled my case with care and always kept me updated. Miller treated me with respect from beginning to end. I recommend giving him a call over this guy any day.

Recently i obtained Mr. Brown for a false allegation which opened a cps investigation. He was very informative and helpful about my rights he returned every call and question i had and helped me navigate the issues. I read his other reviews he has and the people person issues are not valid. Mr. Brown may be Blunt to the point and seem as though hes a lottle mean or rough around the edges there is no other Bulldog id prefer in my corner. He is caring and compassionate even of he doesnt first seem that way but his job is to help you and fight for you not protect your feelings. Thank you Mr. Brown you saved my family. I hope i never need you again but if i do you will be the only attorney i call.

I left a negative review on this attorney and the response was fake review childish can t hold himself accountable ... located in Bell county in downtown area, I believe he s a member of omega psi phi?? Because I remember seeing the rug, yes I did go to his office I did pay in full up front for representation (CDL) services, I called back to report some new information, I couldn t hear him (speech is hard to understand ) hung up on his client (let his personal feelings get in the way I assume because I clearly said I couldn t make out what he s saying ) never called back ...issue never resolved - my review take it for what it s worth people

This is my first review ever. He was belittling, rude, and unresponsive. I felt this review was needed to let anyone else looking for a traffic lawyer not to make the same mistake as me. He did reduce one of my tickets to a driving course but working with him I did not receive the peace of mind many are looking for when dealing with these sorts of thing and was quite appalled by his lack of professionalism. After he was paid he did not pick up any of my phone calls and closed the case as soon as he could. After asking for clarification on a poorly worded email sent to me I was told to refer back to the poorly worded email that was sent before. And when asked even more specific questions about the results one word and unspecific responses were given. It seemed like he didn t have a second to spare on my case. And with the little time he chose to put into my case I was rewarded with belittling and unclear answers. Throughout the whole ordeal I stayed very calm and polite because, like most other people in need of a lawyer, I was not familiar with traffic law, had already paid him, and needed him to work for me. The people at the court house it s self we re way more helpful and polite and I ended up getting my case finished out with them.

Called this morning for a consultation with Mr brown who was very unprofessional! First, I gave him the details of my case and literally seconds later had to repeat myself as if he wasnt listening the first time. Second, when telling him of my concerns he told me he has far too much to do and if my concern was that big of a deal to me, I should probably call another attorney and promptly hung up. That is not how you do business. Period. Rude, unprofessional, not to mention poor communication skills in both the listening and speaking departments. Hire him if youd like but I wouldnt.

Very straight forward. Never had to even enter his office, called over the phone about a speeding ticket Id gotten 4 years prior. The fine was up to $900 he got it down to $553 & then his services. It saved me a 3hr drive to appear in court & a couple hundred. Im not very good with answering the phone having two young children so I loved that he was great about emailing! Payment was easy as well and secured through PayPal. I was skeptical with his prior reviews. But I was also skeptical about taking my son to a surgeon with bad reviews on bedside manner. But his years of experience and successful surgery were what made my ultimate decision. But you have to think about it, do u want the best surgeon or a people person?! My son is now healthy and has minimum interference with life! I normally take the time to write a review on anyone with bad reviews because I myself am a photographer and know how people can be. He stuck to his word and I trusted him with my funds and he did use them appropriately. What more can you ask? Defiantly take the time to read ALL reciews not just the bad ones. Thanks Mr. Brown!

Something wrong with this guy... **edit**. Why would I call about a citation from several years ago? I just got it. Before he rudely hung up on me, I tried telling him there was no address on the citation. Just a coordinate. It gave a jp and judge info, which was all the attorney needs. It was just outside of temple. Again, the person has problems. It amazes me that hes even a lawyer.

He did what he said he initially would for a larger price than my ticket was itself. Mr. Brown was very rude in every single interaction I had with him. I would think hed be more appreciative for clients. I really believe he just took advantage of me because I am a woman and live out of town. Now says he will no longer allow contact with him because he has no time for my questions in of reply to his emails. He did bare minimum and was completely rude, I would not choose him again. I will be working on a complaint to the board. I just hope he actually did what he claims and isnt a con artist.
