Like the review below. I didn t get what was advertised. Got food delivered to my job. I ordered the fish with french fries over rice. I wanted no white sauce and they drenched it in white sauce. Which I don t like the taste at all. Then I lift the fish to see about 5 french fries chopped up. If I put the pieces together they would equate to 5 fries total. Couldn t eat the lettuce as it was drenched with sauce. And the fries were very disappointing. I threw most of it away. Won t order from here again. If you notice I tried to take out the white sauce and put it on the lid to attempt to eat it. That s how much unnecessary sauce was on the meal.

Worst customer service ever. Placed 2 phone orders. Went to pick up orders and was given the run around and kept being told just 2 more minutes. 1 hr later still no food. Asked to cancel the order and the manager said they can t refund the money that day. Owner was absolutely no help, the workers were absolutely no help. Wouldn t be able to rate the food because we never received it.

I like coming here a lot, their falafels are super yummy and flavorful, and the dining area is always clean. One thing I don t like is that there always seems to be too much cheese and sauce in the gyro but I still like this place! The meat is really juicy.

This is a pretty small walk up to the counter and order your food kind of place. Very clean and the staff was quite nice to first timers. The food was DELICIOUS! Let me repeat that: DELICIOUS!! I don t remember the name of what I had, but it was in a vegetarian option over rice with paneer sauce, tofu and chickpeas. I ve never eaten that flavor profile before and it was amazing. (The leftovers which I just had were real good, too.). My companion had a Gyro sandwich plate. Said it was really good, too, but the outstanding bit on his plate were the french fries. Amazingly crispy, amazingly tasty. . . he was fending me off with a fork. [Hint: we were asked what level of spice we wanted - mild medium, or hot. I did the mild and it had a bit of burn to it, but mostly was just flavor. He had the medium and was wondering what hot was like? ] One more time DELICIOUS!

Tried this place for first time from recommendation of my brother and OMG soooo good. So many flavorful options. I got the fried fish bowl and omg so pleasantly surprised. I was expecting just fried fish over rice but it was a medley of veggies, the most flavorful rice, amazing sauces. I got fries on side and it was beer battered fries. Super yummy!!!! Can t wait to try them again. Their white sauce is spectacular!!

The customer service is terrible but the food is so good! Food is made to order, there will be a wait. Every time I ve ate here it s always just been me in the restaurant. So the atmosphere is empty. Having a bowl they give you plenty to be full. The wraps are medium size and more likely to still be hungry. Every food item is sold separately. What makes me keep coming back is how delicious the food is.

They advertise your food on a plate and it comes in aluminum container. We bought the Manhattan plate which shows lots of meat and we get way less meat and more lettuce. So I just paid 14.60 for lettuce. Taste was bad. They should of used their money more towards the food than use it to decorate the shop. Lots of nearby shops that offers buffet at the 14-15 range. This place could not compete with others

Absolutely disgusting. We spent 33.00 dollars on 2 gyros with fries n drinks . The fries tasted like they used old oil to fish or some weird type taste . The gyro meat was odd shaped long Patties. WTH is up with that ? Not real Gyro meat and left awful after taste . We ate about 3 bites and walked away . We drove to GYRO HOUSE 15 min away and had fresh real Gyros . So, I ordered via Uber. Upon checking out for the beef shawarma roll, the picture clearly showed a pita bread, but I didnt get pita bread. Also, the Uber app insisted I add extra cheese no option to remove it. I thought, Fine, Ill just embrace the extra calories today. The food finally arrives, and guess what? It doesnt look like the picture at all. Oh, and NO EXTRA CHEESE! Great scam. Be cautious when ordering online here and double-check your order. This place is getting sneaky.

A few things that could have been done better; however, that is on the business side of things. When you order a combo and it comes with Hummus, I expected pita as well. I dont feel that $4 extra really warrants a 4oz portion cup of hummus with a drink, now pita and hummus makes sense fiscally. Now as far as the food goes, its great, delicious. If you like spicy definitely order a Manhattan plate spicy. My only critique would be the pita was a bit salty and might have been a little overcooked; kind of reminded me of a soft tortilla chip.

I was happy that they didn t overfill the platter with rice which is a common shortcut that most halal guy style restaurants opt for. Great hot plate piled high with meat and French fries. Fantastic, best gyro place in Dallas. First time and the service was great, and the food was so good. Valentine s Day and my wife told me that we finally found our new spot. My kids loved it also. Food was ok. Hummus didnt have the traditional olive oil but had decent flavor. The fries tasted sweet like a funnel cake with powdered sugar. Pita bread was warm & the gyro was decent as well The girl that took our order was not helpful at all. She just pointed to the menu on the counter when we had questions because wed never been there before. She seemed not to care & didnt want to be there. She also seemed annoyed when I just wanted water & I had to ask for my water cup twice. When my husband ordered, she asked him 3 times to repeat himself & she repeated him back all three times, so she heard him but seemed to try and get him to change his mind? Im not sure. They all for tips but you stand to order & you clean up after yourself. The place smells like a truck stop bathroom. It made it difficult to wear in the restaurant bc it smells like youre eating in the bathroom -_- Just ok place

Tried Chop House for the first time through DoorDash! The food portion is generous and the ingredients were fresh. The white sauce was fantastic, although I do wish there was more sauce in my bowl. These 3 Stars are based on two visits; one in North Dallas on Alpha Rd which my Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed! Unfortunately we live near Mansfield, but discovered there was an establishment in Arlington! It didnt hit like the other spot! One thing that was consistent, NEITHER location is warm and welcoming...dont expect a friendly environment. Putting that aside let me break this visit down so you understand the stars. My son and Husband order the same meal Gyro over rice with medium sauce! Me Im from Brooklyn, love my street Falafel with hot sauce so Naturally I order the Manhattan (AGAIN) hot sauce on the side, the fries I dont understand, but I ate them the last time and was going to eat them again. Oder came out in a timely manner and we dash to the car. She must have seen me digging through the bag looking for my hot sauce because she quickly comes out the door and starts to explain how she forgot to put it on the side but only put a moderate amount on my meal. OK appreciate the explanation and we jet off to home eager to partake in our find closer to home. YOOOO I open my meal and quickly question if this is going to be edible. MODERATE Three bites in and I cant feel my lips. My kid and Husband says theirs is Hot but nothing like mine! This is why I asked for it on the side. I have a high tolerance but FRFR this was off the charts check the pics below. The red indicates Fire !I couldnt finish it because I was afraid of the repercussions if you know you know I believe in second chances though. I will try again. Call me crazy. The quality has gone down a lot since the last time we ate here earlier this year. I ordered the Gyro sandwich and fries and they literally gave me 10 fries. Bit hyped up for what it is, the food is fine if youre craving Mediterranean food and this is the closest spot to you. However, their food to me strikes what a big chain restaurant like Halal Guys would make yet they dont have nearly the same amount of locations but their quality is somehow worse? Not sure whats up with the hummus but it definitely tastes and looks store bought, which is really weird considering hummus is easy to make and a staple for this type of food. You can expect good/friendly service from the staff at the very least, but Id look elsewhere if youre looking for more.

Guys, I have to be honest here. I grew up eating this cuisine at many different restaurants and I have to say, this is the spot to go to. I was served in a big bowl that came with rice, fries, salad, chicken, gyro, falafel, pita bread, and their signature sauces drizzled over top with a side of samosa. Now here s where it gets legendary, of course other restaurants have done something similar but it has NEVER been executed this well time and time again. For a bowl with so many different things I was shocked and pleasantly surprised that each and every part was of the utmost freshness, which is hard to do when you re working with so many ingredients, something is always bound to get stale. Not here, not at this restaurant. This place is home to the freshest and most delicious middle eastern bowl you can find in the south. I could write a book on the samosa s alone. I love samosa, and shamefully almost every restaurant I order samosa at is always one of two things; too dry or too soggy. Again, NOT HERE. This place has perfectly seasoned chicken inside and perfectly crispy exterior. My fellow Texans, for your own sake, take my advice and get here as quickly as possible and just see for yourself.

Went to lunch with my brother. Nice staff, fast service, and spacious. This is the first time Ive been inside, we usually Door Dash since its further from where Im usually at. I had the Manhattan bowl, basically a little bit of everything. I really like their falafel! Get the red sauce in the side (I did!), its that good kind of heat... I like spice but I needed this one in moderation, dont miss out on trying it. The pita was good too! My brother had a gyro & enjoyed it as well. Servings are large overall, its also nice that they offer fish & impossible options! The bathroom locks had a hard time aligning to latch, but thats the only thing. Its a clean & neat though! Definitely try them if you get a chance!

I tried this place and the food looked and smelled so good. I was a disappointed because the taste of the food, there was really no flavor or seasoning. Im not sure if I forgot to ask for sauce or they forgot to put it but I had to add something to it when I got home to make it work. I still think Ill try it at least one more time to see. I had the chicken over rice bowl but nothing was drizzled over the top like the pictures online. Otherwise the food was ok.

Ive had a lot of halal food in my life. If you served me a 5-course meal and then asked if I wanted halal right after, I would say yes. This place is easily the best halal place in Arlington, and I dont think thats its a particularly close race. If youre craving halal, come here. Its worth it.

Stay away. The only flavor in the French fries came from Ketchup and salt. The Gyro was about the same. Couldnt force myself to eat it. I wondered why it wasnt busy at lunchtime. Now I know

I just ordered tonight, the gyro over rice bowl and the classic gyro sandwich with fries. Both tasted amazing! 10/10 will be coming back. The customer service is amazing too, the cashier was very sweet and very good at her job!

The wrap i was advised to get was trash....the wrap was smothered in a sauce so bland i couldnt even taste the chicken....Sauce should complement the meat not overpower it...i paid 17 bucks for a wrap and some fries...i got my food and asked for some ranch he gone tell me that will be 2 dollars.... This place is below average

The food is authentic, delicious, and comes out fast. Not too greasy or heavy on the stomach either. The cashiers have been great about recommending new things and the favorites. Isn t too expensive especially because you can t get food like this at just any place. 100% recommend

Best place to get a gryo salad, better than halal guys and NY eats. First off they follow special instructions, theyre veggies seem fresher and more crisp then the others and meat quality is better. Price is right too, cant go wrong eating here. White sauce and red sauce is comparable to halal guys, I think red is more concentrated with chilis which I like better, little more heat.

Very expensive, barely any food, but was good. So, it was 13 dollars, got like 15 fries and this small thing that was supposed to be a sandwich. I honestly think that it is overpriced and that they need to have a price evaluation literally smaller than my hands. No, it was 13, with the tip they said was normal since it was a restaurant and so I thought i guess so, since its like that at the other restaurants Ive gone to. But is it not??? cause I didnt choose it myself.

I ve come to this incredible establishment at least 20 or so times, and I intend to keep doing just that. The entire menu is top-notch, with decent pricing and great quality, but the signature gyro burger I SWEAR TO YOU, you re going to dig that fine product every time you bite into it. It ll wow you each time you visit, and the price for it is more than reasonable. In summary, I love this place, you ll love this place, and everybody NEEDS to love this place. Get in and give it a go!
