I wouldnt recommend this place at all, there was flies in our drinks and when I asked the lady that was our waitress if she could switch our drinks she said she was really sorry that they been having this problem for months already and their boss just doesnt care. The worst part is that we saw a RAT running under the tables, we let the waitress know and she said that its also a problem they been having, she said you dont want to go look in the kitchen because its worst, so we kindly asked to cancel our order. Maybe OSHA or someone needs to go look at this company because I also heard that the owner owns a tortilla factory close to the restaurant so imagine how that looks, JUST DISGUSTING.

I had never been to El Toro until today. I ordered mixed fajitas when my food arrived. My food was quickly swarmed with flies. Flies in my flies in my drink. I requested the manager and a young lady came over And told me they ve had this problem for a while and disappeared for about 10 minutes and came back with an offer of 50% off my food when I asked to speak to her boss I was told that he was in a meeting and couldn t be bothered by me. I would warn anyone in Baytown not to eat at this place if there s flies in the dining room imagine what s in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone that visits his place. Who would eat at a restaurant that doesn t feel it s necessary to be sanitary.

We decided to go to the one on bayway since I was told its the original location and its better than the Decker location. The food was good however we prefer the Decker location maybe because of the location its busier. My husband had the ground beef nachos and I had the combo fajita salad. We both enjoyed our meals but the salsa was a bit weaker than weve had.

Went for lunch, and they were packed. We were a party of six. The service was prompt and friendly. The dining area was spotless as well as the restrooms. Are food came out piping hot and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Will definitely be going back.

Bayway good food and understaffed last couple times we ate there. It took over 15 minutes just to order our food because there were not enough servers. This is a hidden gem . Small place, kinda hidden location. If ya don t know it there you will miss it. Great food and award winning drinks. Love the deco of the place. Chips were fresh and light. The sauce was perfect. Not to hot but full of flavor. The shredded chicken tacos are my go to !

Its a shame, been going there for 30 years and never had that experience. They have always had good service and very friendly, maybe they all had a bad day. It was a day that I ask my wife, Dont cook, lets go to El Toro and get some flautas. I want the crunchy of the corn tortillas of the flautas. What a disappointment. The quality of the rice (dried & chewy), refried beans (smelled old) and the flautas were horrible. The flautas, instead of them being cooked with corn tortillas, they used the flour they make southwest egg rolls, out of, nasty! They tasted more like southwest egg rolls. Who in their right mind would cook flautas in that? Then I figured out why they did that, but I will not dessicated here. You go and find out yourself. That was the last time, I entered and exited El Toro. No more.. I rather cook my own flautas or let my wife cook them.

Don t ever call in an order! They ll mess it up every time! This was the 3rd and last time this will happen to me! This time some genius answer the phone took my order told me the time it would be ready and never out the order in. I arrived and there s nothing. My issue was more with the service. Our waitress wasnt bad, but she was paying WAY more attention to the customers that she already knew, making us feel like a lesser priority. The lady who took our payment (Im assuming shes the manager, but Im not sure) was rude. She walked over to out table, took our card and receipt, then just plopped it on the table and walked away after she charged us. Didnt say hi, or thank you or anything. The food was pretty good, but the restaurant itself is quite nice inside. Its small, but nice. Oh, and our table was sticky even after they wiped it down. =/

Worst service. I was waiting to be seated and no one came up to seat me. I waited for a little bit. A couple employees seen me but didnt help. Another couple got up to pay, and the lady just bypassed me, as if I wasnt there standing in front of the counter and took care of the couple. Not the couples fault just very poor service. Im pretty sure the lady at the counter was a manager as well..but whatever, if it matters, they lost my business..
