I came to this place because a friend recommended it to me and he was right. The bar is beautiful. The tequila/mezcal selection is decent. They started playing vinyls and the music selection was great. Very immaculate vibes. However, the experience that I had at the bar was not up to the expectation. The bartender (Charlie) overcharged me and didn t even bothered to communicate this to me or to his manager to void the incorrect charge that was made. On top of this I tipped him 20/30 dollars cash. At the end the wrong charge was resolved. As a fellow bartender I take customer hospitality seriously. After all, the reagan is a bar that provides an experience. Hospitality is essential to be able to provide this kind of experience. It is very disappointing that the bartender mentioned above has no ethics, is unexperienced and has no clue what he is doing behind the bar.

Very very surprised with the high level of quality in the drinks here. I shouldn t be, but I travel through El Paso from time to time and have yet to find a really great mixologist spot. However, The Reagan nailed it tonight. The Reagan Old Fashion with fat washed whiskey was so enjoyable, and expertly made. Same with the drink that tasted (and included) a Cracker Jack as part of it. Outstanding and will very much visit again. The attention to detail gives this a 5/5 for me!

You can t find a place like this in the southwest that has the vibe, artistry, and attention to detail that this place does. It s a little blend of everything. Highly recommend to anyone who s a little adventurous and is a real foody/cocktail snob. Ask for Anna- she was an amazing cherry on top to our whole experience.

This was possibly the best meal I have had in EP. The menu is not only creative and delicious, but rivals other up scale downtown restaurants. The Badabing drink was amazing, the best at our table. For apps we ordered the Steak Tartar - phenomenal!! The Dijon paired so beautifully, great texture and rich taste. We also order escargot and the ricotta and crudités. Both delicious. The Royale burger was a huge hit, but by far the best was the Carbonara. Amazing texture and flavor. I couldn t stop eating it, despite being full. I highly recommend dining here and trying as much as you can!

The Reagan makes some of THE BEST DRINKS in El Paso, and their food was FIRE, too! Our waiter was so engaging and made great recommendations. The DJ, System A, played groovy soul music throughout the night. The ambiance is upscale chill. The restaurant itself full of stimulating images and they play very artsy movies with the big screen tvs perched right in the between the glorious top shelf liquor display on the bar wall. Great place to go to impress and decompress in style! The picture featured here is a meatball special that we choose as an appetizer We also got the truffle Mac and caviar, which was delicious The Oaxacan Old Fashion was crafted to perfection. All around an incredible experience

In celebration of my nephew s 21st birthday. my family and I had dinner here June 27 for the first time ever. We were lured by it being next door to the De Soto Hotel which is a very well known haunted 1900s hotel and was featured in show Ghost Adventures and had some damning paranormal footage captured too. I immediately thought of the little girl from the exorcist who s name was Reagan in the film. The restaurant name my have nothing to do with the film but, in my mind, it certainly added to the uniqueness of the restaurant with a really cool & low lit lighting vibe & next to a super haunted hotel, we just loved it all. For dinner we ordered various food items and we loved every one of them from the Carbonara, to the pizza, Escargot, and steak. It really is a unique restaurant with an amazing dinner menu. We will be back again.

However, the Regan was worth the trec ! What a beautiful historic venue! Food was tasty too. But most impressive is the service !! Absolutely impeccable. Your bartender, Mel, is a true professional with perfect manners. Her recommendations were spot on. Even though She was busy Mel was very expedient and attentive. Ill certainly be back soon. Last night, I witnessed an incredibly disturbing incident that left me in disbelief. Allow me to provide some context: I have been a regular patron of this establishment for nearly 10 months, enjoying the great atmosphere and cool ambiance. However, there has always been a persistent issue with the managers rude demeanor. It has become somewhat expected that he would become intoxicated while performing as a karaoke DJ, resulting in the loss of song lists and the neglect of customers. This ongoing problem has caused immense frustration among patrons, leading to a tarnished reputation for this venue as the worst place for karaoke when the manager is drunk. As a regular, I am well aware that singing is not guaranteed, but the other staff members, particularly the bartenders, have always been friendly and welcoming, keeping us coming back. However, last night, the manager snapped at me without any apparent reason. To make matters worse, he also directed his anger at a customer who was celebrating his birthday. Despite these unsettling encounters, I decided to brush them off and continue enjoying my evening. Moments later, I witnessed another regular customer approach the manager, inquiring why he had been promised the next spot in the karaoke lineup two hours ago, only to be repeatedly overlooked. Shockingly, the manager proceeded to kick this customer out of the bar. This individual, known for their gentle nature and aversion to confrontation, left the premises briefly, only to return shortly after. To my utter disbelief, the manager, clearly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of drugs, forcefully expelled the customer once again, this time throwing him to the ground. The impact was so severe that the customer struck his head forcefully. Disturbed by this horrifying scene, I hastily exited the establishment to assess the situation. I offered my support to the injured customer, someone I had come to know over the past months, urging him to leave with me. It has been an internal struggle for me, contemplating whether or not to ever return to this place. However, I firmly believe that I cannot support a venue that employs such an unprofessional and abusive manager. The managers bullying behavior towards customers is absolutely appalling, and it is imperative that he is removed from his position.

I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in downtown El Paso, and let me tell you, its unlike any cocktail bar Ive ever been to. The atmosphere is fantastic a true hidden gem. But the real stars of the show are the cocktails! My bartender, Riley, was incredible. She crafted some of the most interesting and delicious cocktails Ive ever had. Not only did they taste fantastic, but she even shared a bit of the history behind them and how they were made. For those with a sweet tooth and a whiskey kick, I highly recommend the Palomita Negra. If youre looking for a smoky and spicy adventure, the Al Pastor Margarita with its mezcal infused with peppers is a must-try! It packs a punch of unexpected heat. While I only stopped in for drinks, the food menu looked absolutely delicious, with dishes designed to complement their creative cocktails. Apparently, Thursdays turn into a blast from the past with karaoke nights! Picture a room full of people belting out Johnny Cash classics and a few other classic old school singers here Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton. It looked like a ton of fun for anyone who enjoys a good sing along. And heres the kicker they have a whole separate mezcal bar on the second floor! If youre a mezcal fan, you dont want to miss this hidden gem within a hidden gem. Overall, this place is a total winner. Fantastic drinks, knowledgeable staff, a fun atmosphere, and potentially delicious food what more could you ask for? I cant wait to go back and explore more of their cocktail menu since I only had 3.

I went to this place with some friends and we tried different drinks and dishes. My friend enjoyed the espresso martini, but the Bloody Mary was a bit bland. We had lox bagels, breakfast tacos with carnitas, parfait, and pozole. The pozole was delicious and spicy, and I would order it again. The parfait was also very good, with fresh berries and unsweetened yogurt. My friend liked the breakfast tacos, which were satisfying and tasty. The lox bagels were too much for one person, but they were well-prepared and flavorful. The service was quick and friendly. We arrived early and got our food in no time. The ambience was peaceful.

The Reagan should pay her more or else we re going to hire her as our private mixologist. I m sure the other bartenders are gifted artists as well, so don t sleep on this place. Came here for a bite to eat and some drinks before they hosted a show. The venue is cozy. The menu keeps things simple. I got the burger and it was delicious. Was not too thrilled with their drinks, but that is more of a personal note. They do have a full cocktail menu. I tried two different drinks and they seemed the same to me personally. We got there early to beat the crowd before a live show. Even before it got busy, it took a while for the waiter to check on us. As the crowd started coming in, the venue set up made less sense as tables were placed in the middle of the floor, and seemed more in the way than accommodating. Staff was very friendly. Parking: Metered street parking in front of the venue itself. If you dont mind a small, 10 minute walk, there is a parking garage down the street that also needs to be paid.

Let me just say bar staff were excellent! One of the best staff I have encountered in a long time. Customer service was on point and they were all so attentive and friendly there service was outstanding. We came here for the first time to catch a show on labor day. Tickets stated doors would open at 7pm but we were refused entry. We waited until 8:15 or so to enter. There were three bands scheduled to perform but due to some drama amongst themselves the show started late. For those first timers like me coming for concerts just be prepared to wait. My suggestion for this place is when you say doors open at a certain time stick to it. Maybe its my adhd but the bar lost a couple of hours on profits. When we were allowed to enter we still had to wait even more this part wasnt so great. 5 stars for the staff.

Bars are not really my scene, but The Reaganis pretty cool. I came out to support a pop up, and these guys allowed LENÃ to use their kitchen. The atmosphere was pretty down to earth and the music was good. I love the idea of established local businesses helping others get started. Vegetarian options: I didnt see any options Dietary restrictions: Good variety of food Parking: Horrible parking, costs $10 for 2 hours. Kid-friendliness: This is a bar, Im not being judgy but... Wheelchair accessibility: This is handicap accessible

I went here for the first time to see Vision Video. It was supposed to be an early show on a Tuesday, supposed to be from 7-10pm. After two hours of hearing sound checks, the bands didnt start until around 9pm. Vision video started playing until 10pm. Although I feel kind of cheated since I wake up at 5am and had to leave the show early, I loved the atmosphere and music they were playing while waiting for the bands (and the bands themselves, of course). The people were so cool and I made some unexpected friendships. If you like post punk and like bands like the Smiths, Joy Division, The Cure, Molchat Doma, etc, you will live this place. The beer prices were reasonable, the place is cool and the show was great at the end. I would just like to suggest to have respect for the time of your patrons and stick to the schedule since people have lives, other than that, everything was awesome!

Dear Reagan, The attention to detail and the aesthetics of the drinks and decor was mind blowing to me! I loved the place! BUT, the setup is for socializing, not dancing. Please kindly know that the music is so loud you have to scream to have a conversation. Please consider turning it down, just a smidge! XOXO, A new fan

We went to The Reagan for brunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation but after we got there we noticed that we didnt really need it. There was only 4 other people there. Which is kind of a shame because its a really beautiful place with a great vibe and great drinks and more people should know about and visit the brunch. The options were ok. No pancakes at a brunch place is a little disappointing. We were in a group of 8 so i got to see different things being ordered. All the drinks (alcoholic) were a 10 out of 10. As for the food there was discrepancies. The samplers were missing items that were listed in the menu and we had to ask for those items. My plate, the huevos rancheros were good, but the salsa was a bit overwhelming. The pozole is REALLY good. That was the best plate there. My biggest complaint is the bacon. For a trendy place like this I would be expecting the bacon to be paper thin and kinda tasteless. Its very underwhelming. Literally every place you can think of has better bacon. I would want some nice thick slices of bacon, maybe pepper or honey glazed. Overall i would recommend to check it out knowing that it wont be the best food youll every eat but the drinks are great and the vibe is definetly cool.

The Sunday brunch food was pretty good! They, however, do not like to make substitutions or edits to the menu items and some of our food took forever to come out. Overall, still a good experience. Just don t come here if youre one of those people who might want an omelette but also wants a side of toast or something and that s not verbatim on the menu.

The Reagan is among the most thought out bars in the country! Pretention check yourself at the door these bartenders know how to have fun AND make great cocktails. The Reagan has EVERYTHING beer, wine, food, amazing cocktails, and entertainment (Karaoke on the night we went) All of the staff was engaging and welcoming kid you not, they all looked up upon us entering and verbally welcomed us that was a great start. It only got better we had some cocktails and tabbed out (wait for it) then we saw them setting up for Karaoke night and just couldn t leave. Best decision ever several songs (and cocktails) later we left with sore cheeks from smiling and that warm feeling of finding a new home away from home. Can t wait to go back! Our bartender, John from Detroit, performed on stage AND makes well-balanced cocktails Thank You for a great experience!!

CLOSE OUT your tab every round. They absolutely will overcharge if you don t. My wife and I got a $150 dollar tab. Over 7 drinks each which would mean we would of been on the floor drunk. There was no way for us to prove they overcharged us. Make sure you keep track of your drinks here or they will screw your over.

Ive been there twice and the 2nd time was because a ghost tour was starting right outside it. I needed to use the restroom before it started so I went in and jusr so that it didnt look like I was only coming in to only use the restroom, I stopped to get something at the bar. I explained to the bartender that I needed to use the restroom and figured Id buy a drink so Im not just using the free service. I usually feel very comfortable talking to bartenders and have never had a problem at any other establishment with them. This time though the bartender was rude and she said I was annoying. I was sober and being polite as possible. I personally wont return because of her.

This place has a nice vibe going, I say it may become one of my favorites places to hang downtown. While its a gastropub its more pub than food, but from my impression of the pub burger despite the limited menu everything is great and good quality. They got a decent selection on tap, and Happy Hour (4-7pm) is great. Sometimes they got live music, if not they have a DJ selecting a great music selection (based on my last experience). Bartenders seem very nice and theyre very attentive. Overall great place.
