Hola Gloria s! To all those wondering if this is the spot to go, it is. I came here with my partner on a day trip to Austin to visit the Nespresso Boutique across the way. We decided to grab a bite to eat and a coin toss led us to Gloria s. The front of house staff were incredibly welcoming upon our entrance and we were sat quickly. The atmosphere was lovely, the music not too loud, and the tables spaced enough away that you didn t have to worry about others conversations getting mixed in with your own. Our server and trainee were Vanessa and Philippe. Kind, quick, knowledgeable, and funny, they helped our first experience to be a great one. I had many questions that were answered effortlessly and was not disappointed in any of the recommendations offered to us. We ordered the following: Grilled Quail: 10/10. Moist, flavorful and filling without being heavy. Gloria s brunch casserole: 8/10. Eggs were cooked perfectly , chorizo was deliciously seasoned, and overall pretty tasty. Pupusas: 8/10. The mixed of pork and cheese was great but the just cheese felt a little lacking. Coco Beach: a strong drink made for Friday and Saturday night fun. I had it on a Sunday morning and had to ask for a little extra juice lol. Overall, our experience will be cherished here because we felt welcomed and that our questions mattered. The amazing food was just a huge plus!

I used to love coming here but my last visits were not pleasant. All the waiters I have had lack in customer service. We don t drink alcohol, I feel that they get insulted by that. They give more attention to people that are ordering drinks. Plus they never say: you are welcome or thank you. We kept coming to see if it was only a one time thing but it has happen every time. I would not be coming back.

Wait staff here is so helpful. I have the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap and mentioned that to my waiter and he changed the sauce on my enchiladas that I had ordered after he found out that the one I had previously ordered contained cilantro. And he made a delicious choice! The atmosphere here is very relaxed and chill, with a perfect blend of elegance. Id recommend Glorias to everybody every day ha!

Glorias is usually my go-to when I have lunch at the Domain. Im not sure how much longer that will be the case if the service is similar to what we had today. From the word go it was rush, rush, rush. I could understand it if they were busy and we were coming in at twelve noon. That was not the case here as the restaurant was empty as we started lunch at 1 after the rush was over. My friend arrived before me but the person at the front wanted to seat her right away after she said she was fine waiting for me. Then throughout the meal, the server kept trying to take our food. The first time my friend said she was still working on it, and later on when we were in the middle of our conversation, he cleared off the plate with my guacamole, sour cream, and cheese on it (I was having fajitas and was going to use it on my third one). I never even realized it was gone until he had left the table. Look, most people are going to lunch at a restaurant to have an enjoyable, leisurely time....not constantly be rushed. We shouldnt have to keep telling your server to just leave us alone so we can talk. Good servers will just fill up your glass without interrupting your conversation and wait for the customers to say if they need anything (and ironically, the one thing the server didnt do was refill my friends ice tea). I just felt like throughout lunch we were constantly being interrupted and it really did sour the experience. Please train your servers better, in particular to have some situational awareness so your guests have a nice experience. Addendum to owner: I did send the email and received no reply whatsoever.

The food was fresh and delicious. I had the enchiladas verdes and fried plantains, they did not disappoint. My wife had the ribeye and she really enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were placed on the table within minutes of being seated. However, it took a little longer than usual for the waiter to take our drink requests. Our entrees were served hot and with care. This small gesture is very much appreciated and we will be repeat customers.

The fajitas and tortillas were pretty on point. Not the best fajitas Ive had, but for the price, they were dang good. And the food was prepared hot and fresh. Just look at the beans bubbling like a witchs cauldron. The service was fast, professional, and friendly. Our server knew exactly what drinks to pair with the food. Again, look at the beans.....they sizzling son! Anyways the place was clean and very spacious. There were 8 of us, and we didnt feel crammed on top of each other like other restaurants in the domain.

They have great food, drinks, and service. It gets a little loud there, but it s a great place to eat at when craving Tex-Mex. I love fajitas, but everything on their menu looks good, even dishes with fish. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the domain. Parking: You have to park in one of the domain s parking lots and walk there, or park in the lot behind it where Macy s is at because street parking spots are almost always full.

We went there to have our anniversary dinner yesterday. It was close to our home and wanted to taste their cuisine. We ordered tamales, blackened red snapper and camarones. They served three tamales wrapped and steamed in banana leaves, gently spiced and stuffed with chicken, potatoes and bell pepper. Blackened red snapper came with 3/4 pieces of shrimps, cilantro rice and chipotle butter sauce. Camarones contained grilled jumbo shrimp, spanish Rice and sautéed vegetables. We loved all the food and finished those quickly not because we were hungry but because the food was super delicious. I would personally recommend the blackened red snapper , it goes so well with the cilantro rice they serve. Because of the chipotle butter sauce the taste gets twice as good. The grilled jumbo shrimp with Spanish rice and sautéed vegetables was also great to have. We loved those grilled shrimps. Tamales were OK. Not like super super good or not bad at all. They were average. The service was great, the ambience was excellent. The prices of the food was very reasonable compared to other restaurants in domain. In a nutshell this restaurant is a must try if you are around domain. Personally, I haven t had this much of good food with this much price in years.

I come here every week on Saturday for salsa night. Been very happy with the environment till tonight. It s salsa night and from 11-12pm they played salsa one time, one song. A very good Mexican restaurant in the Domain Austin Texas. The restaurant is located close to The Westin Austin Domain and few minutes by walk. The restaurant is quite large with seating both inside and outside and we went without an appointment but was seated immediately. They serve you the nachos immediately with a salsa and Bean dip which taste marvellous. We order just one main dish each directly and was quite filling. We tried beer IPA and then the Gloria Margherita and tasted amazing. The house Margherita is not that great so would suggest to order directly the Gloria Margherita of the table. Overall a good experience including the service, quite fast and responsive. Definitely recommend in the area.

This is one of the only chain restaurants I regularly go to. The food is fresh and tasty and great margs! And most of all I think they serve the best tortilla chips I ve ever had..light, crisp and the perfect amount of salt. Bean dip is certainly a huge plus!

I used to love this place. But sadly it s gotten really gross. The chicken fajitas that meat is like frozen pressed parts! My fajitas and rice were so salty I couldn t eat them, sent it back, second try still salty as hell- no rice. I ate maybe 2 strips and a few bites of rice. Literally felt sick during at the table and my stomach hurt all night. Paid 25.00 for tortias basically. Woke up this morning nauseous and puffy from the salt. Like what s going on in that kitchen? Yuck!

Love the restaurant/margaritas but don t like that prices have gone up and they don t have happy hour anymore. Staff hit or miss; can be unfriendly but might be a language barrier, lost in translation.

I still dont eat anything, I went alone during dance hours, it seemed like a great place to dance to Latin music, the atmosphere is very pleasant, its one of my favorites to dance to.

Gotta love a Texas longtime staple. Been coming to Gloria s for over 12 years. Great consistent food, margs are always on POINT. Service is typically great. The ONLY con, particularly for this Domain location, is cell service. One bar. The entire time. With NO WiFi offered. I typically come to Gloria s alone when running errands during the week. With no one to talk to. So when I m trying to navigate my phone and everything is loading like it s 1999 on 3G, I cry inside. @Glorias please take the little things in consideration. What could be 4 margs and a full course meal, is always only 2 and done, I m out. Bc I have no service / WiFi. You could even have it named something incognito and only offer to those who ask. Just thinking out loud. K thanks.

We went after the UT graduation. We were a large scheduled party. The staff was so kind! The food was really good. I had never been there before, but I will definitely go back. My enchiladas were delicious! That bean dip was SO GOOD. We also had the super margarita, REALLY GOOD. Im embarrassed to add, in my clumsiness I dropped a salsa dish and it broke on the floor. They were so quick, quiet, and fast at cleaning it up, my embarrassment was almost non-existent! I really appreciated that!

It was not a good experience. The host person was so rude and extremely sarcastic. My husband and I waited for over 50 minutes just to get a table. When we finally got a table, were told that the table wasnt going to be available after 10:30 because of salsa night. We understand the reason, we just didnt like the way that they came to us saying that we must leave before that. The food wasnt as good as people were saying. I had such a high expectation for this restaurant, but due to my experience, I dont think Im coming back any time soon or any time at all.

Nery, Rubi, Alejandro are at the bar. Mayra is the waitress that trains others. They are ALWAYS fun and in a great mood. We come to brunch most Saturdays and everything on the menu is fresh, cooked and prepared with greatness!! Our drinks at the bar never get empty and any time we need something out of the ordinary it is delivered with a smile and enthusiasm. This is the best brunch in town!!!

First time here, met friends for dinner around 6:30 on a Tuesday. Parked in the lot behind Glorias by Macys after circling for a little while. They dont like to seat incomplete parties, but thankfully did as we trickled in. Chips, salsa, and bean dip were brought to the table and was good. I dont drink, but no complaints from my friends about theirs. Our table had fajitas, chimichanga, quesadillas, enchiladas, and I think a chile relleno. Food arrived in a good amount of time given how packed it was. ALL the food was delicious! Im getting hungry just thinking about it! With tax and tip I spent about $20 for my food and tea, so not bad. Our only complaints: we were seated so close to the table behind us the server repeatedly and unapologetically bumped our chairs as she went by. Eventually our party moved the table forward a little, but then were nearly eating with the table in front of us. Its a spacious place, just weird configuration right there. Also, when she brought our food the server took the chips and salsa that were on the table, so we had to request and wait for more salsa to add to our food. Overall, a nice atmosphere, decent service, and delicious food. As an add they also have a sidewalk patio area that would be really nice in the evening.

I would have liked to give Glorias more stars as their food was pretty decent, however, their service sucked. The manager & one of the waitresses was very rude, they did not keep their word. If you plan on going as a large group please be careful. The managers say one thing and do another. We had one decent waitress that served us. I wish I would have gotten her name. Parking: The parking lot is shared with many of the other businesses surrounding the restaurant, so therefore it is busy. When you park you will have to walk about 3 to 4 minutes to get to the restaurant.

Latest review is accurate. Waitress was loud and clumsy, spilled a margarita on my dress and those in charge not only did not offer to pay for my dry cleaning (which I wouldve declined but that wouldve been the polite thing to do), they didnt bother to comp my meal (or drink) to compensate for the uncomfortable situation I was put in. Thankfully I had just done some shopping and was able to change right away. The bartender and waitress were sympathetic and apologetic but hostess and manager.... Ill let you guess based on the above.
