Amazing spot to wind down at the end of a long day! Small bites are delicious (insider tip: burnt end lollipops), drinks are great, sunsets are amazing, but what will bring us back is truly the service. I love a good rooftop bar! Otopia gives you the views and vibes to relax after work. Open to the hotel guests before 5p but open to the public at 5pm! The ladies were very attentive and checked in on us multiple times. And i truly enjoyed my ahi tuna! Make sure you check in on yelp (if you have it) to get a free corn salsa (which was yummy!)

During my quick stay at the Otis, I decided to check out the rooftop lounge for some food and drinks as soon as I checked in. When I visited the lounge, I immediately was greeted by the staff and bartender Jake before the door closed, and the view was breathtaking! Tons of seating options from couches, chairs and bar seats, to loungers by the pool overlooking the city. Jake made the experience that much more enjoyable! One of the best bartenders I ve encountered. He was attentive to my drinks, recommended his favorite bites, asked about my stay and was so pleasant to talk with even sharing other city favorites. Definitely recommend the two frozen drinks poolside, the pulled pork sliders and the Korean BBQ chips because the dip that comes with them is delicious. I ve been to many rooftop lounges in my travels and I can say this one is at the top of my list.

The only concerned I didn t like it s that I payed and left all good but then they over charged me again I don t know why And it s just making me feel we can t trust the place with no card payment. I left tip on cash and they just added more on my card and they didn t respect how I didn t tip through the card and i signed and didn t respect no signature on the receipt .

Apart from place nothing is great here. Not much food on rooftop bad. Regular drinks. But there is this Mediterranean food truck right on the main road which is great. I usually have couple of drinks here and then eat out food there. Service staff could be little friendly.

Had the most foul experience with the bartender on the forth of July. He was there complaining how long he has worked and etc and got made because I mentioned I have been waiting long , while other people cut in line. As someone who started in the restaurant industry , working serving then hostessing, understand you do not take you re frustrations out on people. I probably waited 25 minutes for a drink . Rude.Then he had the audacity to be asking me what kinda of tequila , when I said just pick any . and say to guy beside of me you didn t pick a drink yet Do better.

I travel to Austin several times a year to meet with vendors I do business with. I only stay at The Otis in Austin, TX! The roof top pool and bar are a real treat! Had drinks at Otopia with @thomasleeclark last trip. Great service, drinks were , great conversation and even got me a reservation at the hottest new restaurant in Austin! Awesome rooftop bar! Great atmosphere and views of the city. Definitely ask for Jade - her service is amazing. Perfect spot for sunset and look for the golden hour specials Mon- Thur. Dani makes a mean drink

This was one of the Best places ! From the Food to the Bar. The bartender Jade was just awesome from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a very friendly welcome! Ms.Jade didn t just make us drinks but she put so much enthusiasm and passion into her job! This young lady was Very professional, helpful and went above and beyond the whole night! Kid-friendliness: They Don t just make the adults feel welcome but the Whole family even the kids ! Would definitely recommend this place !!

After a long day driving, we were too beat to leave the hotel looking for dinner, but saw it had a rooftop bar with light bites, which sounded perfect. The evening was lovely and the atmosphere was great. Jade and Dani were very welcoming and took care of our every need. The attentive service helped melt away the miles of driving and restored our energy. We probably stayed up later than we should have but the mixology was on point and the changing view of the city as the night came was captivating.
