Someone smashed my car window in the parking lots 2 weeks ago. If you check the old review, looks like happens frequently. Looks like common plan for the theft. Watch out the culprit outside here. Stay safe if you plan to go there.

Easy greenbelt park to walk through the creek. The park has some grassy areas to hangout, picnic or play a game of volleyball.

This is one of Austins most scenic linear parks. The ancient tracks are some of several in central Texas parks. They are visible in all but the most flooded times and most visible when there hasnt been much rain. The space between the small trees and the light colored rocks can make this a hot walk during summer time. There are several small parking lots along the park, each of which can easily fill up on weekends. I recommend coming early in the day or planning for the option of walking along the river bed from up or down steam. Like most linear parks, its a long course to either end and back with interesting views either way.

Bull creek park was low, very green, filled with trash from people not cleaning up after themselves. It s pretty natural landscaping, many of the reviews left here are from link falls at bull creek which is a mile hike up stream or can be accessed via google maps. The current status of bull creek park are pictured. We visited from out of town and were disappointed but we found refuge at link falls at bull creek. I highly recommend water shoes or crocs the creek bed is rock

Great way to start the morning before all the people get there. If you pick up litter while you are there the spirit of the fish, turtles, and song birds will always invite you back for a relaxing day with nature where you will refresh that sense of wonder.

!! EYE!!! The place looks good but in reality it is dangerous, they broke the glass of our car and robbed us while we were having fun in the river and apparently that happens often, it seems like they are watching you and stealing from you carelessly.

Overall a very lovely park unfortunately during holidays can get a lot of trash by people who dont pick up after themselves. Make sure you dont leave anything in your car, broken windows present in the parking lot.

Great trail but the Spicewood Springs location has so many trees down. We need volunteers with chainsaws to please come out and cut trees and branches in the trails across the street from the parking lots.

Beautiful! Love the water fall. Kids love riding down it. Peaceful serene and very kid friendly since usually it s never more then about 4 feet deep with large areas around 2 feet so you can enjoy the water at peace .

I hiked the Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail and the hike to get to Link Falls is just over a mile from Bull Creek Park. Out and back was about 2.5 miles. Its a challenging hike: be prepared for mud, some light climbing of rocks, and water crossings. A small portion of the trail is very worn and smooth but majority of it is rocky and varying elevations. Its definitely worth the effort! Bull Creek Park itself is a lovely place for swimming and a picnic with the family. I also noticed a lot of people come here for pictures because the scenery is so gorgeous. There arent any park facilities (restrooms were closed on 3/27/22, port-a-potties only!) and very limited picnic tables.

Very cool area. Waterfalls are epic and there are so many rocks to climb on. A great place to bring your family especially if you have little kids. The only thing is the trails arent clearly marked but once youre on one, youre good to go. Would totally recommend to families although beware that most trails are not very accessible to people with disabilities. A very beautiful area even if you just pull into the parking lot to take a few photos or a short hike.

Cute little trail near water. It was a little muddy after some rain. Its about 1.5 miles round trip based on my tracker. Its not an easy paved path, but moderate with a small amount of navigating and climb. Its seems more like a local watering pole than anything.

This entrance is closed. A person sits at the entrance and the entrance is blocked off. We visited the trail through the other entrance down the street. Currently mostly dried up that you can walk the creek bed for a short distance.
