Vesper means an evening prayer or rest. In the hustle and bustle of Austin, we hope to create a space to slow down, chat with friends and neighbors, and create out of who we truly are. Vesper is a non-profit community space in East Austin. From group meetings to galleries, neighborhood gatherings to weddings, fundraisers to concerts, meditation sits to yoga classes - we want to offer space for shared community initiatives that bring Austinites together.

We rented the Vesper space for a welcome dinner for our wedding weekend and it was perfect! The point of contact, Weylin, was communicative and very helpful leading up, during and after the event. It s a beautiful space that feels part of the community and it was so wonderful to share this part of east Austin with our friends and family in town for our wedding. There was a number of helpful onsite amenities like a space that easily converted into a bar, a kitchen space, tables and chairs and easy audio capabilities. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host an event of any kind - it was affordable, convenient and easy to work with!

What a cool venue! We used Vesper Austin for a film shoot over 3 days. Perfect hosts, multiple spots to shoot even though we went with the library. Obviously our community means a lot to the owners and staff - plus, affordable!
