Outstanding customer service It doesnt matter what time of the day you go by or what day it is. The staff at the Saratoga location is absolutely fantastic! Special shout out to the young man at the drive thru one night. He will remember ( I asked for 3 pkgs. of ketchup instead of 2) Thanks ! Also, Sabrina will always prepare fresh fried chicken without complaining its to late or they are out of Greatly, team work great food. Great job, guys!! See you soon !! Andrew, the cashier. Nerdy dude with glasses made my experience there aweful. I went there with my family i havent seen in awhile. He tried arguing with us that we only get 3 cups instead of 4. After breaking down the 4 combo burger meals on the receip he finally gave in. We also asked for napkins, came back with on 1 napkin per person. We asked for more, he completely ignored us and never came back. If i wanted bad customer service i wouldve gone to Dicks Restaurant, but they dont have that here in CC.

Great bacon cheese burger baskets. And their fried chicken basket with French fries are absolutely delicious. Delicious food, my husband and I absolutely enjoyed the delicious food and drinks at the Saratoga location. The fries are fresh and crispy. Not seasoned, just plain regular delicious fries. The customer service has always been outstanding. Whether we dine-in or drive up. Great job, everyone !! Thank you, We will be returning, !!

Awful hamburger and the absolute worst onion rings I ever ate! .Onion rings were more like over-breaded burnt flour rings. The meat patty was dried up and probably cooked at least an hour before going onto the bun. Never had been here before and I ll never be back!

I will not be returning back to Vick s after I got cheated out of a junior burger that was the size of a slider. The manager tried telling me it was the same size its just the buns got smaller. No I don t think so. My poor girl was still hungry asking for more. So you can t tell me it s the same amount of meat with a lot smaller bun. I should have taken a picture, but I was just in utter shock. On top of that they are now charging a 3% fee for using your credit card

This business used to have the best burgers, homemade onion rings, and okra in Corpus Christi until the owner decided to shrink all portions of fries, onion rings, fried okra, and burgers while simultaneously increasing the prices. Furthermore, if the customer chooses to pay with their credit/debit card, the customer is charged the fee that the card companies have always charged to the proprietor. Thats simply the cost of doing business as a business owner and has always been passed along to the customer through the costs of the products offered and sold. In addition, he lowered the quality of the food by switching to frozen onion rings from an outsourced vendor rather than continuing to make homemade onion rings as advertised without notifying the customer of the lower quality option. The same quality deterioration goes with the okra that is extremely stringy and/or tough skinned like cardboard. Absolutely disgusting and the owner has lost me as a customer from his obvious greed for himself and lack of respect for his customers and lack of his customers satisfaction. He is a typical corporate American proprietor in this day and age where results are all about investor profits at the expense of customer expectations. I suspect this business will be converting to lab created proteins as all corporations have gone with GMO produce and laboratory created meat products. These businesses care nothing about customers health whatsoever. He obviously believes the customers are insignificant to his corporate greed and profis.

I normally eat here. Came in with my insulated mug to get ice , since I work outside. Was ordering food for my brother and myself plus dessert. My brother asked if it was okay to fill the cups with ice. Manager proceeds to say no?! I was pulling my money out to pay. Soon as I heard that. I told cashier to cancel my order and traveled to a different place that allowed it. It s hot outside and for some places not allow an individual to get ice to stay hydrated is uncalled for. Will be posting in neighbors app. My f.b account and other platforms. I didn t have someone else s drink coming into this location. Was needing ice to stay hydrated after I would have eaten my meal that I purchased. (Which comes with a drink) I could have used that cup to fill my cup without touching it. Or give a plastic bag of ice. no contamination there. Be better for future customers that work outside. Never coming back since there are many other places to grab a burger at. Lost a customer because of this action.

We waited 30 mins for our food. When we finally got our food after we went up to the counter and let them know its been 26 mins already, we finally got our food. I ordered a chicken friend steak sandwich but I got a chicken burger. Our other burger was suppose to be dry but it was slathered with mustard. I also didnt get my okra that was suppose to come with my CFS sandwich. No 5.00 slice of apple pie. I went to the counter to get refunded the items we never got, the manager in charge, naturally was saying he knows they messed up, but cant refund anything, he can only issue brownies or cookies in exchange. I told him theres no way Im going to get any additional food from this place just refund me what I didnt eat. He canceled the entire ticket then entered what I did eat, I had to pay 2x just to get a refund. The 2nd amount was lessor than the 1st charge. He said management throw t Him to the wolves. I told him if he really cared he would of made a call and made it right. He lost us!! We ate there every Friday, 13.99 a plate x3. Now they will not get 1 penny, because they messed up and didnt make.it right. I hope this review gets read and management calls me to make it right. Dont be like me! Do eat at Vicks, they dont care about getting your ticket right!!!

We drove by it every time and never realized it was a restaurant. Until my uncle told me that their burgers are really good so we decided to try out the burgers they were really really good they remind us of a burger place in Dallas called Griffins. The only thing I can see is a portion of the fries they could add just a little more fries. Other than that if you have a chance stop by and try it for yourself its a really good burger place the bathrooms are ready clean and the dining room is really clean I like all the logos of the hot rods on the wall. 3 thumbs up

Just went and tried this burger for the first time. I got the bacon burger and I was really excited because I m a big cheeseburger person. The service was fast and workers were nice but the food was not it. The burger tastes like a burger you get at a hospital cafeteria. There was no seasoning and nothing fresh about the burger, it tasted like a frozen patty and kraft slices. If you re calling yourself a burger place I expect a higher quality burger.

My family & I went yesterday for the first time while traveling back to San Antonio. The service was amazing ! They have a cute porch out front so my dog was able to dine with us. The amazing woman at the register was so sweet to him(my dog) & even brought him some burger patties so that he could eat with us. We got the cheeseburger with grilled onions, onion rings, fries & fried pickles. The customer service was so great! My first time at Vicks was a pleasant surprise. When I drove by, it looked like an outdoor-only place, but they had indoor seating too. Their menu had a bit of everything - chicken, fish, tacos, and tempting desserts. I went for the ultimate burger with fries and a drink, and my son got a burger as well. We really enjoyed our meals. The food was hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. We couldnt fit in dessert this time, but well definitely be back to try the shrimp and desserts. Thanks, Vicks, for being here on the south side!

I had the fish and shrimp combo. The shrimp which Im not sure that was shrimp was burnt to a crisp and you couldnt taste what that was supposed to be. The fish Im pretty sure was tilapia or cod. It didnt taste like flounder even deep fried flounder taste like flounder to an extent. The tea tastes like mold. I recommend cleaning the nozzle or just replacing it. Because she made fresh tea while I was there. My son got chicken strips they were also very cooked. The best thing was my moms burger but we couldnt locate a knife to cut it. And the fries. I dont normally complain, but... I have been a loyal Vicks customer since I was a kid. I normally order the fish . They have recently changed from their regular fish to flounder. Well, aside from the fish being overbattered and under seasoned, the flounder was very fishy smelling and didnt taste fresh at all even tho it was hot and made to order. So I am wondering why this would be a frozen flounder if we get fresh fish here locally??? Also, nothing about this fish made me feel it was flounder at all. Im not an expert, so it could have been the overbatteted flavor throwing the taste off . Fries were clearly cooked in old oil and over salted. The platter was missing lemons(might have helped hide the unfresh fishy smell and taste some) Overall just wasnt a pleasant experience and unfortunately this is the second time I had a similar experience just with different food ordered. That being said I will have to avoid Vicks awhile and check to see if any improvements made in a couple months . MakeVicksGreatAgain!

chicken there is horrible, i ordered a 2 piece when they first opened and the chicken tasted very old and had no flavor very bland more breading than chicken, so a few months down the line i thought i try it again i ordered a kids meal and no change, chicken is still the same. a waste of money. nothing like the vicks across town.

Anthony & David are always professional and polite. They pay attention to detail and dietary needs. Eat it fresh right off the grill, so good. These are the best fries in town! Reminds me of an old-fashioned diner burger and fries. Check them out on Saratoga Blvd! Tell them Terri sent you. =) Dietary restrictions: They tended to every detail needed. They did not make me feel uncomfortable, more like part of the family.

Tried Vicks for the first time. I wanted to like it - a more local place and not one of the big chains. We dined in - it was clean with plenty of room. My friend got a bacon burger with fries and an order of chalupas. I got steak fingers with fries. And we both got bread pudding for dessert. Ill start with the good - the fries were excellent. Five stars for the fries. My friends burger was alright. The toppings were very fresh, but there just wasnt a lot of meat. The chalupas were bad. Pretty much refried beans out of a can on a large tortilla chip with some lettuce, cheese, and tomato. My friend threw all three in the trash. I would have expected that from a ballpark concession stand, not a local staple. The steak fingers were just as bad. They looked kind of gross and manufactured. Identical fried rectangles with some burger meat in them. The bread pudding was... hot? Thats all I can really say about it. It was super bland. I didnt finish mine. I would possibly order the burger (but make it a double) and fries again, but probably not worth going back.

Ordered the Hamburger Combo, bun was smashed down, patty was average, could have used little more mustard. Fries were hot and tasty. Place was clean and plenty of seating. I would have like a couple of high top tables. Staff was friendly, stated the offer first responders a discount.

Friends and coworkers, all rave about Vicks and tell me its a Local favorite. I have gone twice and at my friends suggestion to try the Ultimate burger both times and they were 100% correct it is my new top favorite burger anywhere. I Love the staff (super nice and friendly) Prices are great for what you get. I will share our ordering suggestion. get the Ultimate double or triple if your starving, fried pickles with the double burger, oh and the onion rings are the real deal handmade delicious. First time at a Vicks. I had the bacon burger combo and my wife had shrimp with onion rings. The best part off there meal was the fries. They were hot and had a good flavor. The burger was run off the mill. Just enough bacon so they could call it a bacon burger, couldnt really taste the bacon. The shrimp was a little tough but eatable. The onion rings were awful and thats being kind. Im guessing that we will not be back. McDonalds is better.
