We ended up here by accident for my brother s birthday and glad we did. The food and margaritas were so good! Chad our waiter was great and we will definitely be back! Everyone was greeting us and asking about our visit. We couldn t believe how courteous everyone was and it was a great experience.

The place has a good vibe, but we couldnt shake the feeling that we were being overcharged for drinks. When we brought up the discrepancies on our bill, the waiter was evasive and interrupted us when we tried to address the issue with the manager. We never got a clear explanation about what was happening. As longtime regulars, its disappointing to say we wont be coming back due to these tactics. The waiters behavior completely spoiled our experience.

Terrible food delivery service restaurant did not package the whole meal entire items and 50% of another were completely missing. I had to request a refund from Grub Hub. No beans. Chips missing. What was left wasn t very good. Note: thanks for the reply, but I was visiting Austin and Im not likely to be going back to your business after this incident. I believe there are other reviews like mine for your business.

My family and I visited this establishment recently, the staff was very friendly, the food was good . There was just one thing that really bothered me , my teenage granddaughter was in the LADIES restroom stall and a cleaning guy walked in there to clean while she was actually using it! Went for Gospel Brunch and had an amazing time! The tables are set up family style, so you might have to sit with people you don t know. The service is a little slow, but given how busy they were, it made sense. And the fantastic live music more than made up for it. Stay as long as you can. It s worth it!

This is one of my favorite places for Tex-Mex due to the food, service, and nostalgia of how long it has been here. I came at an off time on April 22nd and when I walked in the bartender (white guy with gray hair) said what do you want? Odd thing to ask so I said I came to eat and was told to sit anywhere. Besides him, service has always been phenomenal. Food is delicious and never disappoints! There is ample parking and much of it is shaded.

Uggh. First we ordered a simple plate of cheese nachos . They obviously tossed a plate of chips in oven. When the cheese doesn t melt you know you have troubles. It was covered with something other than cheddar. Very bad. Other tex mex fare was below average at best. Ive had better Ortega tacos. And again they serve with a mini bowl of the thing they call queso. Queso coagulated with in minutes. It was a generic processed cheese. To make it worse it had no flavor. Why? If you plan on drinking. Stay with bottled beer. Margs on this day have much left to be desired. Austin has much much better. Rating : Muy mal.

I have come here for years with no issue, but will no longer be returning. It was a nightmare from the start tonight. Our waiter was clearly too impaired to function and it was evident from the moment he opened his mouth. He was new and I give that grace, but not when you being under the influence prevents you from performing your job. He didn t bring us waters (outside), and after 10+ minutes I went inside and asked for some. It then took an additional 5 to get it brought out to us. He brought out our drinks and mine was the wrong size. Then food came out and both of our orders were wrong and we had no utensils. We asked for utensils and no one brought them out, so we went inside to ask a second time. They brought our corrected food and the correct drink, but with zero apology or accountability. Don t worry, they still charged us for everything despite a poor performance by both our server and his manager. Don t waste your time or money.

The food was good, just not slap my mama good. I had the Chicken Soup. The soup lacked flavor but was very easy on my stomach so that was a plus.
