Went during JimJam s burger popup. Burgers were delicious. It was their $1 beer Thursdays which is a steal. Service was great. I love the little outside area and with the weather getting cooler it ll be a great place to hang out at. Bartenders said they try to do food pop up s like that pretty often.

Super cute courtyard with a retro vibe and a pool. The bartenders take extra time with the drinks, which means they taste great but there can be a bit of a wait. They also serve some frozen drinks which are delicious! One con, and its a big one: the chairs outside are sooo uncomfortable if you have hips. The sides dig into your hip bones. This is true for bigger ladies (and probably men, too) or even average women with wide hips. We had to sit at an angle in the chair, and ended up moving to a bench as soon as a spot opened up.

This is a funky little place on the east side that has not quite a watering pool, but rather a fountain in their outdoor courtyard, and the inside bar is pretty funky as to be expected on the east side. I went during Hanukkah and it was such a relief to have a nice place, celebrate it for the community whoever wanted to join

My wife and I dropped by for drinks earlg on Fri. around 4pm...parking on the street was easy, and we really enjoyed the poolside vibe and umbrella atmosphere. We were unfortunate enough to have a gust of wind pull our umbrella down on top of us, but only drinks were lost, no injuries, and the bartenders wete quick to comp refills. we began w Aperol Spritzes, but loved our mezcal drinks even more. They had some hot dog booth setup by the pool which was cool, too. Honestly, this is simply a nice place to sit outside, enjoy sun and shade, and sip on nice drinks crafted by some people that know their craft. Dogs were welcome, too. Well be back. Happy Hour (3-6) was good, but we ordered off that menu for the mezcal and were happy.

Really cool east side bar. Their drinks are amazing. The patio Paloma is my favorite! Must try if you like mezcal cocktails. The vibe is really cool, they have a lot of outdoor seating as well as some indoor seating. It has a cool retro vibe to it. Fantastic date location as there s almost always a place to sit and it s quiet enough to have a conversation. Parking is also very easy! Hope this review helps you make the decision to go!

Really low key place we found open on Christmas Day late in the afternoon. Beautifully decorated. Inviting and friendly and they even had free cookies and donuts on the bar. We each had a hot toddy and it was delicious. Dog friendly establishment as well. Just a very cool place. They have a pool or a hot tub (?) outside. Not sure which. But I should have taken pictures. My bad.

I love this place and I love it even more because they are one of the few spots in town that celebrates Hanukkah. For the fifth year in a row, kitty Cohen had a bunch of inflatable Hanukkah related items like a menorah unicorn with Hanukkah candles, a dreidel, and what not and much of Austin s, 30 to 60 crowd who or Jewish attended. I attended with the Austin Jewish business network and, Shalom Austin was there. Jew Boy Burger gave out two cheeseburger sliders and two latkes per person for free to everybody in the place that would never happen in other big cities, and just goes to show how great a community we have in Austin and the fact that there were no shootings or pro Palestinian riots going on here made us all feel safe and welcome.

Chill spot to have drinks and talk with your friends. The only bar in town that I know of celebrates Hanukkah instead of Christmas. So if thats your thing or you just want to experience a different culture this place is cool. Several delicious cocktail options named for the holiday and a bunch of dreidels on the bar to keep you busy while you wait. This is also what I would call a Hidden Gem whiskey bar. If youre into high-end Bourbons for a decent price this is a good spot to go. They usually have a pretty nice top shelf selection.

Yes its a cute place with a pool tucked in a cozy patio and decent drinks. However I got overcharged by the business. Its not a big amount and usually I dont even check my credit card statements. I just happened to save a copy of my receipt that day and saw a couple days later the amount appeared on my statement was higher than what I signed on the receipt. I dont know what happened but probably will not visit the place in the future.

I was looking forward to checking this place out, especially since we live on East. Sadly it was pretty disappointing. The patio is cool especially on a nice night, but upon entering I was told I couldn t come in with my temporary paper ID. They claimed they don t accept them, which is absolutely ridiculous considering that s the only government issued form of ID I have at the moment since I moved recently. We ve gone to many bars with my temporary ID including several higher end bars and never had an issue. Luckily my boyfriend had a picture of my no longer valid ID that the department of transportation requires you surrender and they let me in based on that - the irony! Drinks were just okay, we ve had better for the high price point.

Took the founder and owner of our company, Texas Classic Custom Homes here for a celebratory cocktail on a Monday evening. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating and the prices are extremely fair in comparison to the rest of Austin. She s 67 and still thought the prices were fair. Unfortunately... The pregnant woman who worked in the front of Kitty Cohen this evening on Friday, August 5th made one of my friends feel extremely uncomfortable and we cant help but think it was due to his race. We had our 1 MOCKTAIL AND 2 WATERS (both NON-ALCOHOLIC) inside and left it on our tables - then went outside to get more water due to the hot Texas weather and was on our way out when she stopped us, saying we couldnt leave with the water (and was quite firm with it). We are currently here at Kinda tropical where I asked the bartenders if there was a policy and there is none...and would never do that at their establishment. Please follow up with this colleague of yours. I really like Kitty Cohen and was extremely disappointed to show my friends first time here but now its his last due to this discrimination. We also both work in the restaurant industry for 5+ years and I have never asked anyone to throw away their water cup away at our establishment on their way out. My opinion, she just paid special attention to us...and it is absolutely unacceptable.

They have massive fans on the patio too to help keep cool in the summer and of course the center attraction is the water feature where you can dip your legs in to cool off. Not a 5 star because the water is stagnant and for hygiene purposes was a little cloudy. Other than that if you dont mind the water you are all set for a beautiful local hangout

This bar reminds me of Las Vegas, not in a good way, complete with $14 Frozen Ros served in a plastic cup! The pool is small and mostly a fountain.

Been twice the passed two weeks and the bartenders were great and friendly. The drinks have always been on point with a great selection. Patio is chill even when its full.
