UPDATE: It s been 2 years since my first visit and review. My botox experience has been great. Stephanie is awesome, and I ve been extremely happy with the results! I would increase the stars to 4, but they changed their scheduling/customer support system a few months ago, and the new system is just awful. There is no way to chat with the office anymore. Don t even try to call and reach the local office. Everything gets routed to a generic line with a poor IVR experience. I was turned away last time, because I was 30 minutes late, which is understandable if I didn t have to wait 30 minutes or more every appointment just to be seen. I m still coming here, because the actual botox treatment is good and I don t want to risk trying another location. I have mixed feelings, and I m hoping my experience would go towards more positive in my future visits. The appointment scheduling and rescheduling process was very smooth and pleasant. The checkin process was also very pleasant, and everyone at the clinic was very friendly and helpful. I had a consultation appointment with Stephanie. She examined my face and determined how much botox I needed where. Even though she seemed to be in a rush to leave, she answered all my questions. Stephanie asked me think about it and make an appointment when I m ready. However, when I went to check out, I found out that I had to pay $150 for the consultation. This was news to me, and I wish I was informed about it at the time of making the appointment, as it is not a small amount of money to pay. When I communicated that with the staff member checking me out, she looked into trying to wave it for me, and through that conversation, I found out that the consultation fee would be a credit toward my treatment! Even though this was a relief, it also pressured me to make an appointment for my first treatment. This was still fine because I ve been wanting to get botox for a while now. But then I read through the patient handout. The majority of the content that is printed in there as being discussed with, was not discussed. I m guessing it s a template they print for all botox patients or maybe mine got mixed up with somebody else. But reading about how risks were communicated with me when they weren t made me a bit worried and scared. I m sure the process is super pleasant for people who are used to these procedures, but this was my very first experience considering and talking about botox, and I wish all the information was communicated with me more specifically and in a timely manner. In any case, I m hoping my treatment visit will be much more pleasant and I can increase my rating in this review :)

An amazing place to be seen, people face to face are fantastic. But if you need any follow-up, such as a medication question, which has been my case, it is impossible to reach anyone to assist. I have left two messages a week apart with no return phone calls. When you get someone on the phone they are out of state and cannot assist. Again, great service face to face but I cant keep paying co-pays to get questions answered which could be answered over the phone. Is that to much to ask? Time to find a new dermatologist. Be aware!!

I don t have an issue with the service, but don t make any other appointments or have a job if you go here. It takes about an hour of wait time or more to be seen for less than two minutes by a PA, and if the doc or PA leaves to get something expect to wait at least another half hour to hour until he or she comes back. Every time! They must fill all 8 rooms for the same time slot. It s ridiculous

While its service is decent this company is everything that wrong with medical billing today. Insurance or not (I tried both) this company will just flat out refuse to give pre-auths or estimates, including one for just a simple yearly checkup. Last year I had issues getting a pre-auth when I had insurance and now I dont have ins. I cant even get a ball park amount which is even more concerning. Having worked the finance side for medical offices (ophthalmology, derm, lab, etc) I can tell you that they do have estimated prices but choose to keep that private til after you are financially liable. Its a shady practice that too many medical businesses get away with.

For the longest time, my son and I have been searching the area for the best dermatologist. Luckily enough, we were thrilled to encounter TruSkin where we would meet the wonderful expert Dr. Stephanie Bui. Bui has been so caring, kind, and reliable since day one, and she continues to do so currently. Before my son had severe acne but after a few months, following the routine prescribed to him, he started to see positive changes of his skin clearing up. I went here for Skin issue and saw Dr.Robbins, Blake. He dint seem to be interested to check thoroughly in my skin issue and wanted to wrap up quickly. Max amount of amount he spoke was 2 MINUTES. On top of that they incorrectly overcharged me in my bill for Influenza immunization which i have never received from them and sent me a big bill by adding different thing which they never performed. I went here for skin issue which was never taken care of and trying to rob me for the things which was never trated. This is a SCAM OPERATION & CLINIC DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

Where do I start?? Went in for my annual check. Stephanie went crazy with the spray can freezing off spots that I never asked to be frozen & werent troublesome (only age spots), then billed for every little one PLUS some. I talked to my insurance and their office several times. Their office girl was horribly rude & immediately had an attitude. They eventually admitted to their error and adjusted the amount due. Never received another bill so assumed they finally took care of it with my insurance. Next thing I know I get a call from collections! I would give zero stars if I could. This wasnt my first visit. Not sure what changed in a year, but it is not good! I will add that I have never posted a review before on any company or place.

I ve seen a few of the doctors at Tru-skin, all of them have been fantastic. I initially saw Eden in Round Rock who went above and beyond to help me after a diagnosis I received. I then started seeing Dr. Robbins in Cedar Park as it s closer to my home, and he has also been incredibly helpful and very diligent. They are life savers. I would highly recommend them!!

Dr. Roberts was kind and cheerful, the office was clean, and the people were generally friendly. I knocked off a star because it took 40 minutes to be seen. I find it frustrating that we sign an agreement as patients that we owe $40 for a no show that applies once we are 15 minutes late, but the same respect does not transfer to the patients time. I would also comment that while it is clear that Dr. Roberts clearly knows his stuff and has good bedside manner, it would be helpful to have more laymans terms at the ready. He spoke so quickly and technically that I had to ask him to repeat and rephrase almost everything.

Everyone at the front was very pleasant and the process of paperwork was easy. But, I didn t even see the doctor at all. I sat in the room in a gown for 45 minutes and then left because I had to be at work in another 45 minutes with a 25 minute drive to downtown. The doctors ,nurses, and front desk staff were very sweet. They were fast with sending the drug to the pharmacy . I m normally a very shy person and the whole staff put me at ease by being very friendly. Try this place out you ll love it!

The whole team at Tru Skin were fantastic. I had never had a dermatology screening before and they walked me through, addressed things to keep an eye on. They were super considerate about the fact that I m squeamish about needles and blades (since I had to have something removed) and they let me know exactly what to expect and how the after care should be. I will absolutely be going back and I highly recommend working with this team!

Had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Robbins. He is kind and funny and listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend him. Front office staff was very welcoming also.
