Terrible and glitchy speakers. When its crowded, its difficult to get to the bars, and the bathrooms are disgusting. Took forever to get a beer. I almost left the show to get a beer at Peche, thats how slow it was. Narrow and cramped, lost my friends. Have fun climbing through a window to get a drink or go to the bathroom.

Nice venue good for live music its indoor but outdoor too I thought that was cool I didnt feel too crowded but was in VIP section. The staff were very friendly. The only reason giving four stars is bc we kept getting told the doors werent opening till later and later not sure what the issue was but it didnt open at the said time the doors were supposed to open

Cedar Street Courtyard is easily of of downtown Austin s best outdoor music venues for dancing, being seen and Martinis. They have excellent Cover and Dance Bands with musical styles. Be warned - these bartenders will shake the hell out of your Martini unless otherwise specified. This is one swingin meet and greet, bachelorette party or after dinner dance until 2am on Friday and Saturday. You ll find plenty of locals and musicians here as well. September through October and March until July it s PERFECT weather to sit in the beautiful courtyard under the stars. Drinks are a bit higher than average but worth the dough-the Martni glasses are the 6 ounce large sized. Attire is casual to dressier like most Austin bars and restaurants.

Had reserved a table for birthday party. For a whole nothing done by staff was charge $400. That is no drinks. That is people walking up and taking chairs and sitting down at the table when we stood for a minute or went to the restroom. Do not bother thinking they will do anything but charge your credit card

Negative! I understand the metrics of everything, considering our current climate. However, the staff was very rude. Not even condescending or patronizing considering the price ONLY to see a DJ/Producer that would have been appalled at how the guests were treated. I got called out whilst putting my my mask on! Ooops! Caught me adhering to ALL policies! Left before even seeing what I paid to see. The price to attend didn t bother me as I do appreciate such fine artists. Definitely too pricey for such treatment of the guests that just wished to be polite and enjoy themselves. F**ck this place!

The management and front door staff are extremely rude. They advised me to arrive at their location early to purchase tickets to an event. Upon my arrival they inform me they are sold out and dismiss me with immense attitude. Furthermore the door guy comes over while Im waiting for uber to see if I want tickets on the side 50% more than the price online. I loved this place until tonight. Extremely unprofessional.

Its 4 stars because the sound could be better (add a pair of speakers to the back maybe? - i mean by the stairs as you enter the venue). The alcohol pour is pretty weak usually but the price per drink is high. Those are my only complains really

Great venue with an awesome vibe! Staff were very courteous, from the bouncers to the bartenders. Went to a show I ve been anticipating for quite some time and I m glad it was at Cedar Street, as it did not disappoint! Had easy access to bars, little to no wait for drinks, and ample seating to enjoy the show if you re wanting to take a break from all that dancing on their very roomy dance floors! Would highly recommend for a concert or just a nice night out.

Local favorite-Spazmatics on Wednesday night. Great band. Very diversely aged crowd. Everything from the Jitter Bug to YMCA to Jesses girl to 500 miles. Very funny presentation. The crowd was hopping all night. Bars on both sides of the courtyard with ppl walking through the full length windows lining the courtyard to get in and out. $10 cover, well worth it.

This place has potential. The reason for my 2-star rating is due to their sound system for electronic events and DJs. I saw J.Phlip, Tale of Us, and Maceo Plex there and each time the sound was very underwhelming and disappointing. With a genre like house/techno that relies heavily on the sonic experience, a solid sound system is paramount. I dont know if its because it is an open air venue, but I would suggest analyzing the acoustics of the place and investing in the appropriate equipment. This is just my two cents because I have specifically not gone to this venue when there is a DJ I like that is in town because of the system. Otherwise, everything else is great. I like the atmosphere and the aesthetic, but the only reason I go is to experience the music of which the sound is of utmost importance.

Such a great place! The bouncer Chris and bartender Kiki are such sweet and genuinely friendly people, they made the experience super cool. The DJ for the Pleasurekraft & Chris Malinchak concert (whichever one, I can t remember) was such a cool guy and the music was amazing. It s music you can dance to or just relax to, a staff that wants you to have an amazing time, and a positive atmosphere. It s a place I 100% want to come back to.
