I wanted a salad with extra flavor, and I was disappointed to find that Corner Bakery Cafe had permanently closed at the Arboretum. This was the nearest five star salad place on Google maps, and it did not disappoint. Quick service and a flavorful salad were pleasantly combined with the modern cafe atmosphere.

The manager (only person without a uniform on) needs some training in customer service. After waiting in a long line I get to her register to order. When I go to with cash she said oh we don t take cash at this register. And proceeds to say NOTHING. BLANK AWKWARD STARE AND STILL NOTHING. So I say So does the next register take cash?) she says yes. And that s it. No sorry. No sign to say no cash nothing. So while I waited for my food and sat at their sticky nasty tables get the mango chicken bowl and proceed outside to eat. M The mango was frozen. Shocked but not shocked.

Tried to call in order to save time and the girl had 754 questions and ultimately was at the light before the transaction could complete. I went into the restaurant to order my food. Waited at the register and waited and waited and waited. 3 associates were eating at a table in uniform and never bothered to say hello. Everyone is entitled to have breaks and eat, but please dont be in uniforma and ignore customers.

I ordered online and picked up my food To-go. The woman behind the counter avoided eye contact and didn t greet me, so I spoke first and said I was picking up, She pointed to the little rack and said oh it s probably down there and went about her day. I grabbed my food and left, the ahi tuna is my favorite but it felt like they barely sliced it and just threw a loaf on my Summer Salad secondly, my zucchini was soggy and the scallion ranch was watery instead of thick & creamy. Tbh I prefer the Westlake location this staff needs a better attitude.

I come to this place at least once, sometimes twice a month and have been doing so since it opened. The food is always great, and the service is fast and excellent while the staff is very helpful and friendly. The fish on top of my salad is always dry, so I have to get the chicken. The reason I m giving you a low rate is because the wooden tables in your restaurant are gross! They are always sticky and no matter what you wash them off with they still continue to be sticky making the whole place seem dirty. Apparently the chemical used to clean the tables reacts with the finish on them and has taken off all of the varnish, shellac or whatever was used to finish these wooden tables. My suggestion would be to refinish the wood surfaces with a clear epoxy coating, or maybe cover your with some kind of a washable tablecloth. These would even brighten the place up if they were a matching color to your corporate yellow..

Casual atmosphere (I ate inside, but there are chairs/tables on the outside walk also). Counter service was friendly and the order was fresh and fast. I think the menu has updated since my last visit, lots of good choices here. I had the chicken basil panini, and it was delicious. The lemonade is lit! You have to try the cucumber mint lemonade. Flavor explosion! I paired it with the green tea and loved the flavor and less sugar option. I enjoyed the organic grilled veggies. Tomatoe soup was hot. and fresh. They need a dehumifier in here. But they do have outside seating.

Modern Market is great for parents of young kids. Kids eat free Sunday (and I think Saturday) after 5pm. The salads were really spectacular. I had the jerk tuna salad - which came with avocado, mango, and a really good light dressing. I got extra protein which was an additional $6. Hubby got the Southwest Salad with double chicken. This came with pickled onions, blue corn tortilla chips and a light creamy dressing. I cant decide which salad was better - they were both extremely flavorful and the portions are huge. The kids got grilled cheese, no tomatoes. Its quite a small portion if youre kid is a pre-teen but good if theyre little kid or big kid. My kids love the grilled cheese - they get it almost every time. I highly recommend Modern Market if youre looking for easy, quick, low-key, and family-friendly. Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free Saturday and Sunday after 5pm!

My first time at this particular location. I am on spring break visiting family and decided to treat the kids to a plant based meal. My cousin ordered first and paid and while I was getting the Children s food choices the five year old in the group went and filled a cup with juice. Thinking nothing of it I continued selecting food. That s when I was approached and chastised by a young employee. Even when speaking with the manager about his approach I was told. You pay first here! Let s normalize having more empathy for mothers especially mothers who are with children who are not biologically theirs. Empathy and patience would have been great rather than being profiled and judged instantly. The meal was good despite the service and behaviors of employee. As a business owner there s no way this would be the representation of my company. Let s increase wages and etiquette.

But one thing that caught my eye was the extra $0.50 charge each for the mashed potato and vegetable sides I got with my bowl. It seems like a side so basic as these shouldn t cost extra, as there were really only two sides on the menu that didn t have a surcharge.

Cute place with a nice selection of salads, rice bowls and pizzas. I had the jerk salad with salmon. It wasnt unforgettable but it was good and filling, with a nice size of fish and half of a huge avocado. Everything was super easy, order in line, take a number and then get a table. One suggestion would be to have the BYO salad ingredients on the board or somewhere more visible. It was quite busy when I was there, and if folks had to look at the small-print list at the counter, it would probably hold the line up. A shout-out to the excellent staff. I was there during lunch on 11/10 and everyone from the counter person to the busser was polite, diligent, and had a smile on their face. Made for a really pleasant atmosphere :)

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan options, tasty, fresh, and well presented. The tofu bowl I got was very good and I look forward to having it again. Plenty of spots in a parking lot with lots of space. Service was quick and polite, order at the counter and its delivered to your table. The fresh fruit drinks/sodas had some unique and delicious flavors. Highly highly recommend! Not happy with their change in bread on the chicken banh mi sandwich. Which is almost half the size of their previous bread. The sandwich is significantly smaller which gives you about half the amount of topping/filling but the price is still almost $15. Ive attached a picture of the new whole size. You can look through the google photos and see the original size for comparison. Im going to find a chicken banh mi sandwich that I like somewhere else because this doesnt say much for their integrity as a company. When I called and asked if there was a change in size, I was given a $10 coupon. Which was nice. But doesnt make this sandwich worth $15.

The staff is wonderfully helpful, the kitchen and facility is super clean and organized. And the food is exceptional. The Angus beef is tender and flavorful, and the blackened chicken is excellent! I would say the only downside is that its a bit pricey....but you get what you pay for. Well definitely be back to try other protein bowls. ...oh the salted Nutella marshmallow treat is awesome. Im told that this restaurant is usually really good, but that definitely wasnt the case when I visited. I ordered a lemongrass tuna bowl, and I definitely would not order it again. The rice/quinoa mix was good, but the rest of the dish really wasnt. The tuna didnt taste fresh, as well as having the annoying silver skin chewy pieces through it. Just as annoyingly, there was absolutely no lemongrass anywhere in the dish, and also no chili/spice to the dish. I may have gotten really unlucky and had somebody that didnt know the ingredients for the dish, and got a really unlucky piece of tuna, but I wouldnt give this restaurant a second chance. Very disappointed with the quality of food I just picked up. The braised beef I received looks nothing like the tender braised beef shown in the image while ordering and upon trying it, its tough and does not seem braised at all. First time here. The best food weve had in a while. The braised angus beef is so tender, the mashed sweet potatoes are done to perfection, and the green salad is tops. The tables (at this location only, I hope) are so sticky, its like no one ever bothered to wipe them. We ask an employee if we could get a sanitizing rag so that we can wipe the table and bench clean before we sit down. The employee replies, thats the way they are. Nothing we can do about that. This is a good-sized corporation. You would think that they would come up with something other than sticky tables and benches for their customers. Apparently not. Modern Market never disappoints. Not only is the food healthy but it always tastes great and the customer service is excellent. I found the Bee Caves location during the pandemic. It was my go-to during a back injury when I couldn t cook and then weekly since then. I just moved North and I didn t know what to expect at Great Hills Trail. Today was my third visit. Amazing portions and my order was ready and waiting for pickup after work. With inflation, I only have enough to eat out once a week and this is my go-to. Hint: Try the chimichurri. You will love it! I always get the chef s bowls and put it on everything

I ordered for delivery. The food is just not good. The Mac n cheese looked like it was scraped from the last bits of the container and tasted sour. The pizza was gross and had no flavor. The soup tasted like chlorine or plastic was mixed into it.

I have mixed experiences. Sometimes it is really good here. Other times they run the vacuum cleaner and start breaking out the cleaning chemicals before 8pm and making dining in extremely loud and smelly as well as cold as the vacuum cleaner blows your napkins away. Vegan and gluten free options are good -- but they skimp on the cheese on the pizza, ask for extra if you want a normal pizza. Could be really good with a bit more polish and attention to customers.

I ordered on Uber eats and got an extremely disgusting order. I got a double portion of steak in my flatiron salad and the steak was pretty much all fat. I could barely finish the salad and still got a horrible stomach ache afterwards. The steak was also extremely cold for some reason, like it had just been taken out of the fridge.

First visit to Modern Market. Took a minute to adjust to what was on the menu. Salad was filling, although it had too much oil. To be fair, you wont cath me in an Italian restaurant dipping bread into oil. I had expected the steak to be a little more cooked. Overall, its not bad, but I will not rush to eat it again. The restaurant itself is between fast food and a sit down. Menus are on the wall, soda fountain has cane sugar soda. Points for old school. Once you order your food, have a seat, and they bring it to you. One of the bar style tables gave a great view of the outside tables and put you a glass pain away from someone else trying to eat.

So this is definitely where youre wanting to go if you are trying to be or already are someone who eats healthy. lots of greens and salads . Id say the only real appetizing thing ive tried so far is the pizza . Dining in isnt really anything to write home about , too far leaning into the mundane -lofty kind of warehouse vibe and its just filled up w ikea furniture. Feels weird having pricey , okayish tasting food in a cheap feeling place .

I placed a delivery order tonight thru DoorDash. About the time my delivery was to be expected, they called me to cancel it. Door dash wasn t helpful in anyway on keeping the order placed that I paid for so that I could go pick it up. I was frustrated. I called Modern Market directly. They were very pleasant and handled my situation with grace and dignity. I retrieved my order without having to go online and place again as door dash said I d have to do..Great service.

Plus...the ware & tare on the car; & it was weird because: The Big Fancy Neighborhoods were the worse tippers! I had the supremo pizza which at best was just ok. It was warm not hot and the toppings were a little skimpy. The others in my party commented that the salmon wasnt seasoned and that some of the food was cold. The best way I could describe it. The food was in prep containers like a Chipotle, and plates were built on an assembly line, which explains temperature issues. The resturant was clean, although it was pretty empty for a resturant on a Saturday night. At approximately $15.00 per person I think it was a little pricey for what was served. The atmosphere is pretty generic and had a fast food type of vibe. Not overly impressed, gave it a shot and it came up short.

Ok, so I had the steak bites with mashed potatoes, salad, and rice. Each bite melted in my mouth, giving me that home cooked feeling. If youre into keto, they even had a keto dish available. Also offering cauliflower rice as an option. The portions were decent, and I would say that it was just the right size and wont give you that I just over ate feeling. My picky little one was even impressed with the chicken.

After a medical emergency of three days in ICU while travelling thru Austin we ordered diinner because we were exhausted. After the 35 minutes I called back only to be told it would be another 20 minutes. (This restaurant was 5 minutes from the hotel) When that didnt happen, I called back again and was put on hold for 15 minutes until the restaurant closed and then I was disconnected. So at 9pm, I dragged myself out to find food for my husband and I. No food was ever delivered. I find this reaction dispicable.
