The arcade itself is fantastic. Before going to play games though we wanted to eat. The service was awful. The waiter was more interested in playing around and trying to make jokes than actually serving our table. Took almost an hour and a half to get our food and when our food did come our order was wrong and something was missing. Took another 20 minutes for the missing item to finally come out. The food was awful. Pizza was either burnt or undercooked and chicken strips werent cooked all the way. We will not be eating here again.

The BEST main event experience EVER! We usually go to the one in Dallas and it s the typical play games, eat and go This team was so hands on and showed us around the venue truly tailoring a unique experience. Jay was walking in, hadn t even clocked in yet and totally stopped to assist me at the kiosk and then again with the marvels Photo Booth. He was so selfless and helpful! JSTRO!!!!!!! Was absolutely AMAZING! He was so sweet to my family and truly made my lil man s day! He was so helpful and just showed the utmost kindness personality and hospitality! AND HIS MUSIC IS SICK!!!! I absolutely love this team! Thank y all.

We had an incredible time at main event! My son had a blast, and we also enjoyed a meal. Our wonderful waitress, Courtney, provided us with excellent customer service and she was very down to earth. I will definitely recommend this place if you need something to do in Beaumont!

Where do I begin...? A smile goes a long way. Dont expect one if you come here. My wife and I came to main event in beaumont, for the first time, with another couple for a double date. We eventually figured out how to begin, but there was no one to guide us when we arrived. We finally decided to rent a bowling lane for an hour and were placed on the waitlist. So, we went to check on our queue and we were about 4 names down. We decided to eat food while we waited for our turn for a bowling lane. There was a sign that said to wait at host stand to be seated and thats what we did. Waited... and waited... and 15 minutes later we were sat at a table. When we ordered our food my wife and my friends wife both ordered mac and cheese and it came out cold. Not once. Not twice. No sir. But THREE TIMES. And to make matters worse we were never greeted with a smile or anything related to hospitality. NOT ONCE. We were comped for the mac and cheese, but that not what we were after. We just wanted our mac and cheese to be HOT!!? Apart from this I highly recommend the sunny side up burger 10/10. Following cold dinner, we continued to our bowling lane. Customer service was much better here. However we ordered an oreo shake and they said it would be out soon. We had 45 minutes on our lane remaining. AND 45 MINUTES IT TOOK. We completed our hour of bowling and still had not received our oreo shake. Wanna guess what happened next? Ding. Ding. Ding. They kindly comped our oreo shake. Again... NOT WHAT WE WERE AFTER! They finally made our oreo shake.... to go. However, it was not a milkshake anymore... it was luke-warm oreo milk. But I wasnt going to make it a big deal because it wasnt worth it at this point. Finally, we went to play laser tag and that was the best experience we had the whole night. The man running the laser tag area was amazing! I dont want to say that you shouldnt come here, because maybe it was just an off night. I honestly dont know. Our first experience was not a good one, so dont expect much.

Yesterday we went for the first time for a party, our host and or the kitchen was very slow. When the food came out, the chicken was delicious, but the mac & cheese was not it. We sent it back immediately and the manager was very nice. The atmosphere looked clean and fun. We hope to have a better experience the next time we visit.

We were there for my sons 7th birthday last Saturday (July 20th). Our waiter - Julita - was very rude! She appeared annoyed that the manager accommodated my sons birthday to take place on the restaurant floor instead of one of the rooms dedicated to events. We had to cancel the room reservation at the last minute because all the people invited were no longer coming, so it was just 4 of us. Julita rushed us to order, and she rushed us to pay (about 8 minutes after the food was served, she brought us the ticket and kept on checking on it). I wish another staff member would have waited on us because they were all friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Julita, however, did not make us feel wanted there. Nevertheless, we tipped for the sake of the other staff. If we chose Main Event Beaumont again, I will make sure that Juilta is absolutely not the person taking care of us. She might need customer service re-training.

Its been a while since weve been to Main Event it was great. But then last weekend we brought the kids to have fun. My bf and I wanted just a quick slice of pizza, but there was no employees working in that area to where you buy ice cream, pizza and other food. The young lady said oh, youll have to go to the bar because we have no one working. Went to the bar Keaton or Keston was very helpful. He was wondering why theres no one on the other side working... like he had that look on his face. Its funny that when we order pizza from the bar side we saw so many employees just hanging out sitting in a booth table being on their phone and talking. I was like oh wow... Weve also ordered food for the kids at least theyve enjoyed it and had fun.

Order four simple meals , Loaded fries , fries looked and tasted old , cheese was nasty and was overbearing with a little bit of bacon bits,And that was it. Also we ordered macaroni and cheese it looked old and they served it in an extra small bowl. Also we ordered nachos that had a ton of chips and a spoon full of hamburger, cheese and green onions. Lastly we ordered chicken wings that where just ok but for the wait they where cold and I give four out of six to my kids because they didn t eat there food. PS all the food was cold and we waited 35 to 40 minutes for food. Never again. That we paid 75 dollars plus tip. F+

The friendly staff guided us through the various packages, helping us find the perfect fit for our group. We kicked off our visit with bowling, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The lanes are top-notch, and the ability to choose a theme (we went with disco) added an extra layer of fun. The vibrant atmosphere truly set the stage for an unforgettable experience. After bowling, we explored the arcade, trying out a few games before heading to the dining area. Heres where Main Event really shines - the food quality is exceptional, rivaling popular casual dining chains like Red Robin. My cheeseburger was out of this world, and my sister raved about her chicken strips. The mozzarella sticks we had as an appetizer were possibly the best Ive ever tasted. With reasonable prices and generous portions, the dining experience was a solid 11/10! Post-meal, we returned to the arcade for more gaming fun before checking out the prize counter. The selection was impressive, offering everything from candy to high-value items for those with more points. While our overall experience was fantastic, there are two minor areas for improvement: The lighting in the bowling area produces significant heat, which became uncomfortable during our second game. We encountered one less-than-friendly employee at the prize counter, who seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than assisting customers. Despite these small issues, the genuine smiles and helpfulness of every other staff member more than made up for it. Main Event Beaumont offers an excellent value for money, although arcade games are a bit pricey. Went here for a birthday party and it was overpriced and the food was horrible! The games are an absolute joke. Everything in there cost about nine tokens and you get 30 tokens on the card for the birthday parties. This place is overpriced and under service. The bartenders suck they don t know how to make drinks and completely rude.

Service has gotten progressively worse. Service at the restaurant was terrible. Waitress only came to take my order and to take my money. Had to go get my own silverware, never got a refill, ended up just sharing the rest of my daughters drink. They werent busy. Then later after spending a fortune on games I ordered a bowling lane. It said there was no wait. So we then proceeded to WAIT. There was NO ONE bowling at all except for a few staff members. We gave it 20 minutes or so before I asked for a refund on the bowling and left.

DO NOT GET TAY AS A HOST FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY!! We celebrated my daughters birthday and Tay was our host. The party started at 230 and our guest started arriving. We didnt start bowling till almost 3. Waiting to see which lanes we were getting and getting shoes. As kids are bowling Im checking to make sure we good on pizza and even added 3 more pizzas. While at the table Tay comes and say they having a review contest and says can I leave a review and get my parents to do so as well. I tell him ok and keep entertaining. The pizza finally comes and we start serving pizza to the kids and getting them drinks. As Im doing that Tay comes and say dont forget to leave a review and get my parents to do so as well. I tell him ok while trying to get kids pizza and drinks out. I had a parent say they heard Tay talking to another employee stating how his party went from small to large. We had people wanting to purchase food and had to go find another employee or go to the bar just to order food. We had lots of gifts sitting on the table and I asked Tay can we move them to another table so we can have room and he said put them in lockers. I agree and then continue making sure everyone was good. Once kids finish eating they ready for cake and to play games. Tay comes to me and says of yall party end at 430 Im have to move yall to another table. I have your ticket here. The party didnt end till 530, we still havent cut the cake or song happy birthday, and still havent open present. I till him we still eating and we need to sing happy birthday. I gather the kids to sing happy birthday. Once we finish singing Tay comes to me asking Im I paying cash or card I tell him I dont know I havent looked at the ticket. Kids asking about the game cards and I still dont have them. I ask Tay about the gifts in the locker and he said oh you want me to help take them to the car. I tell him no we fixing to open them now. So he walked off we had to get our own gifts out the lockers. He ran over to another employee and started talking about our party. Then comes back and says Im fixing clean off this table. While Im opening gifts with my daughter I had parents moving the cake and treats to another table. At this point we still dont have game cards. Tay coming and still asking about a payment when we still have a whole hour left. I gave home money to take care of the tab, even though I still needed to order more food. I finally had to get a manger involved. The money I spent I, could have went elsewhere and been treated better. I went to a party there two months prior and the host was great! I will no longer ever have a party there. Ill come and play games but have a party no. Especially the way Tay hosted our party. Heres pictures of him following me to get a payment. Even walking up to my guest as soon as they got there till them to go online and do a review. If you dont like your job or didnt want to come to work, stay home. When you have a job to do you do it otherwise just stay home if you know you not going to do your job correct.

Decided to check this place out. Went with the wife to do a little bowling turns out that was a big mistake. As soon as we go in the place, it looks amazing. The atmosphere is great bells and noise, and you think to yourself Ive made a great choice. WRONG. The customer service people were horrible. Pointed me to a machine in the corner, and that was all the customer service I got, not here let me explain to you or let me show you how these machines work literally just pointed and that was it. Turns out they were too busy chatting about some rap video to care to help. Managed to get everything done in about 30 minutes at this machine. By now, Im fed up, ready to leave, but we play 1 game of bowling almost 100 bucks for me and my wife. This has now turned game night to cant wait to leave night. Oh, be for I forget they play with strings attached to the pins, so if you hit one pin down, the string catches the others and pulls them down as well. After one game, we left. I dont even think we finished the game. Customer service made this whole experience suck. I management can see this that would be great. If you work there, do your job and help the customer not stand around on your phone or talk about whatever nonsense is happening outside of work. But then what more can you expect with a bunch of kids working there. 1 out of 5 stars.

Very disorganized. You walk in and there are kiosks. So you basically have to figure out what you want from there. No employee to help you. We selected all day passes for 5 of us. Paid. No receipt came out. No wristbands. No confirmation. Took 10 minutes to find an employee, and it was the manager. He seemed uneager to help and said theres usually no one during the day so thats why there are few employees. Ok, I understand. We start bowling. In the middle of bowling, we spill a drink. Went to cafe area and again took 10 minutes to find an employee. Then the manager finally came from behind the cafe, and still talked to another employee for quite a while before coming to ask what i needed. The spilled drink never got cleaned up. So my son and his girlfriend went to play laser tag but there was no one there to let them in to play. We played pool in the bar which again had to wait for manager approval since we never got wristbands. The place was incredibly loud and smelled. $151 for 1 game of bowling for a family of 5 and 1 game of pool. Wont be coming back.

Some machines are broken, with no sign on them so you waste your money. They are good about refunds though. The prizes you get are pretty cheap. Bowling is fun with different bowling game modes to keep it interesting even for people who are not good at bowling. The pool tables are kind of hidden in the restaurant, but they were good tables.

Was super fun and definitely a great place to go and be a kid with the kids! A lot of the food is pretty pricey and I wouldnt dare go in the evening on a weekend when the tickets are most expensive and the crowd was so bad but there are days and times where the price is definitely worth the experience! I had my sons 12th bday there today and was treated very well. I am a hard working conservative American male , with that being said , i want to address the concierge, he was a very nice and helpful young man but when im spending money for my childs 12th bday and the young man hosting us has 2 flashy fingernails. Thats not what i want for my money. I dont care if someone is gay. I really could care less but my child and i dont want to see that when i pay for a service, it just made a good time weird. When the bowling and eating were over and we were wrapping up the food to take to the car , the server came up and asked for 2 of the birthday cupcakes for him and his coworker. Absolutely unprofessional. Im not mad or bothered at all , i just dont understand how people think these days. People are out here just not thinking or caring about others. I didnt bring cupcakes for the staff. Im old school and enjoy simplicity , manors and a wholesome family experience. I wouldnt even have left this review if it wasnt for him asking for the cupcakes.

It was my son and myself first time going here. My son has been looking forward to coming here since it was being built. There isn t much to to do here in Beaumont, So it was a nice change of scenery, without having to travel far out of Beaumont. Convenient, The staff was amazing and very Accommodating and they attended to every need. The facility itself very clean , restrooms very clean. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The money was worth it.

first time I went to main event, everything was great. however, the recent times I ve went it seems like the employees really don t want to be working there. the employees don t make eye contact, walk/move very slow, are inattentive, and don t appear to want to do anything that they don t absolutely have to do. I don t think I ll be back, but if I do, I wouldn t eat there given the poor service we ve experienced. it s sad for a place that should be entertaining and fun to be ran by the worst kind of customer service. that said, the kiddos love playing the games but are always disappointed by the forever broken (but never a sign saying out of order) rabbids virtual reality

We, a family of 4, went to this Main Event and purchased the all you can play pass (it is only bowling and Lazer tag). We chose to bowl first, there were plenty of staff but we couldnt get anyone to serve us so we walked across the building and ordered from the bartender who was kind and served us actually delivering the food and drinks, never once did any of the lane waitresses ask us for anything. Every single employee besides the bartender basically rolled their eyes if you asked for anything. We tried to play Lazer tag after a few minutes both my daughter and husband slipped and fell in a pile of something wet, it turned out to be actual vomit this was so sick. We left and tole the staff member there she basically rolled her eyes and turned to call for help not once asked if they were okay, needed anything to help clean themselves off or apologize. They left to get cleaned off (it was sooooo disgusting) and then straight to the car I went to the front to speak with a manager who took almost 15 minutes while they were filthy waiting in the car. I was just upset we pd over 100.00 for these passes and had to leave to get half of our party cleaned because throw up was covering a large portion of the Lazer tag (I feel like they should do a walk through after games) they gave us replacement bands that were signed, but I would have preferred a refund as I do t wantvyo go back there. They are VERY lucky neither person was seriously harmed running at full speed slipping like that. Shame on this company and their management. Was nice the first month now filled with super ghetto rude employees and very unclean.

Great selection of extremely modern and updated games you can t play in many other places, with this being said, it s still overpriced I paid $43 and only played about 15 games. I ordered the honey sriracha wing basket and it gave me food poisoning and have been throwing up for the past 3 hours. Great workers we were helped by Jalisa and Ruben and they both did fantastic. My main complaint is the lack of food handling skills.

Normally we go to Houston or Baton Rouge, La. Today we decided on Beaumont location and never again will be do that. Doesnt matter what you bring to this city the people here will always make it bad. This review is for the restaurant area. We have been there twice and it was absolutely awful service. Last night will be the last time we go. We waited for 40 minutes for our order to be taken because our waiter disappeared in order to attend a mandatory meeting. We could see all the employees in the room which ironically had a screen up that said something along the lines of Responsibility of a server. Which was pretty damn ironic. Here you leave a customer on the floor while having a meeting on how to be a good server. Nice. Well guess what? You FAILED. And considering management is probably the ones who held the meeting, they should be fired.
