Been coming here since I was a kid with my family. Now I bring my growing boys to dine in and enjoy their fresh burgers and curly fries after football practice. They love grabbing a strawberry milkshake each, and yes, they are very good!! All of it!

The store need a Upgrade for the seating every one cant fit in those stationary chairs/table combinations thats 1970s style back when Ronald McDonald ran with a Crew nOw hes made changes he went solo . the burgers are always juicy ..the first bite make sure you check your shirt because juice will drip from the burger. Not good enough. The place is very old and dirty, which might appeal to people with nostalgia. Everything looks like it hasn t been renovated in a long time. The food is bad as well. I ordered a double meat burger with cheese, and it was disappointing. Compared to other places in this price range, it doesn t taste good. The service is also lacking. The lady at the counter wasn t friendly at all. I would recommend considering another option for dining. This place is not worth it.

Dans product is pretty consistent and I belive it to be the best burger in the Austin Metro. That being said, this particular Dans dining area is always kind of grubby / Dirty. This is why I gave them a 4 star. The burger was bang on that being said.

From the 1980 s to 2024 this place has been our go to Burger joint. It NEVER disappoints. No other place like it. The food, the service, the people. They always have the nicest people to make you feel at home. I grew up coming here on Wednesdays after my Dads softball games and to continue to keep coming here years later with my own kids. It s great, we highly recommend them.

Delicious local burgers at a great price. The curly fries large were HUGE! HIGHLY recommend when around the menchaca area. Also, I would like to point out that you should probably just go inside instead of the drive thru due to it being super long wait. Its definitely worth it, though.

The food was fine, the inside of the place is GROSS, ripped up booths, rusted A/C vents, peeling paint and cob webs from the ceiling, when I brought it up with the manager, he really couldnt have cared less. He told me, they are tearing the place down in a month to build a new building and that the health department has said its okay, so I guess its fine to have your dining room be DISGUSTING then, since your building a new place. Its almost as if the manager was offended or put off by me pointing out how much the place was neglected and how dirty and GROSS the ceiling and other things were.

Everyone is super friendly which is great! Would I crave a Dans hamburger? No, not really. Not at all. The flavor was bland. I wish I had pictures but oh well. Its been there since before dinosaurs, so you know its past its prime but it still stands on its branding. Sometimes you get really good fried foods and sometimes you get soggy, its like 50/50 but its generally good. Seating is small at all booths. For those that have never been you will like it but its not a fancy restraunt type place, just a good ol burger joint in austin.
