I would highly advise NOT using this firm. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, but yet when I was scheduled to talk to the main attorney, Mr. Dunham, he said he was not going to be available for the 15 min consultation call after all that afternoon. He gave me a another attorneys number. I asked do you not want my case? he said I didnt say that. but no follow up to reschedule, nothing. Useless.. What I have since learned from another attorney that is AWESOME, representing me, is that they would have been able assist with a PR bond, as I have ZERO criminal background, and by all accounts, my charge is low priority in the court system. However, no mention of this from Dunham, though I had given a lot of details to them on the phone, and they knew I had no criminal background, and they told my friend to contact a bail bondsmen which cost me a lot of money that I wont get back. A PR bond, is Personal Recognizance, and you pay ZERO to be released. With my current attorney, I met with for a free consultation, for 1.5 hours! And a younger attorney sitting in too. They talked to me about me case, and I left feeling such relief. Thanks Mr. Dunham for blowing me off. I am glad you did!!!

Chris and Duane have helped so significantly through my case and continue to do so as it progresses. I felt as though I was losing faith in the legal system in Texas until these two came along. They restored my belief that there is good in this world. 10/10 firm. Their staff is incredibly helpful and they will treat you as though they re fighting for their family. I cannot be more happy and satisfied that I went here to find a lawyer. Not aren t money hungry sales men. They are here to help you. They will go over your options and tell you if a court appointed lawyer will benefit you, over them, based on the outcome you re looking for. I was arrested for assault and family violence, when I was actually the victim. They got all my charges dropped/rejected less than a month after being out of jail. All without even going to the court date. They even ended up gave me money back, and discontinued our future scheduled payments.. I was completely shocked and it made my heart really happy to know these guys really do care and want to better your situation. It s not about money for them. I think if I didn t get my own personal lawyer, the judge would have continued processing the charges. I think the judge may have recognized these guys, and figured it wasn t worth fighting with them. Also, thank you Jeff Casey for making me comfortable enough to even consider getting a lawyer. He made me feel valid and listened to me. It was my first time being arrested and lawyer and needing help. He made it so easy & the process was so clear.. After signing up, the de value your client phase seems to begin.. This firm took a shameful amount of time to secure discovery (evidence), and even more pitiful job fighting for their client once it was secured , would not recommend them to anyone.. They allowed for my rights to be infringed upon while pretending that the unprecedented restrictions being placed on me, were some how normal and acceptable. I found this play dead defense to be unacceptable, and had to hire a different firm that does a better job at fighting for their clients!

Worst place to spend money to get help. Took my money in 2016/17 didn t do a darn thing for me. Skipped out in meetings they arranged. Never knew where their lawyers were. Blocked my number. Wouldn t pay my money back. Incompetent, lazy, money hungry would do best to describe the horrid place they call a law firm. They have no business in trying to help anyone.

I recently got into some trouble with the law and didnt know where to go. After doing some research, Dunham&Jones seemed like the best choice. I got to sit down with an attorney in town and video call another attorney in Waco. They were very understanding and were straight to the point on how they could help. After a couple months my attorney left the firm and I was given another attorney (Scott S.). He went over my entire case again with me and told me exactly what was going to happen. He was correct about the entire process. I appreciate the honesty and straight forwardness of Scott. He is always able to get into contact with and if not he calls back the same day. Couldnt ask for better legal representation.

Back in 2020 I ran into a little bit of trouble with the law. I initially had Michael Parsons as my assigned attorney later on Michael had left the firm and I was contacted by Jorge Amador as he was designated to be my new representation. I really appreciate everything Jorge did for my case it was extremely helpful and I really felt like he was dedicated to getting the best possible result for my case. With Jorge I really felt like the law was working for me. Later on they were some interesting developments that made it ideal to proceed and negotiate the best possible outcome. I admire the passion perseverance and intellect that Jorge presented with my case I do not regret in anyway hiring him to be my representation. Thankful for the Law Offices of Dunham & Jones. They fulfilled their ened of the bargain with me and our contract even after a DWI misdemeanor case with Travis County took over THREE long Years to process and dimsiss (Thanks Covid! Smh). Once I met the payment criteria, there was no further payment necessary...even as the case drug on. I even unfortunately had to miss a date and any efforts to start a bench warrant were negotiated with by my lawyer to a cease. I will be honest, my presiding lawyer did fluctuate several times during all of this, but that was probably the one small drawback. But my case is now over and after the long wait, my DWI was dismissed in the interest of justice!

I was in a whirlwind of a mess. Never been in trouble before and didn t realize I created an addiction late in my life. Racked up 3 DWIs in 9 months. 2 in Harris County and 1 in Montgomery. The 2nd was DWI Felony with a child. Brett was amazing. He was very responsive and thorough with his plan. Which I needed desperately! They wanted me in state for 18 months and I ended up on probation and the other one was dismissed. Thank the Lord. I have a family with 5 kids and couldn t afford to do any time or much less have these on my record. Thank you Brett for everything you did to help me! Whatever you do, do not hire Ben Florey. He took my case with another attorney in 2016 and collected 10k with assurances that his representation of me would help. Instead, he gave the US Attorney every bit of information that they needed to proceed with charges. Offered advice that proved to be false. As soon as I was charged, I was never again able to get in contact with him. Not a reliable representative of your interests. STAY AWAY!

I had a charge a couple of years back that I knew I needed legal representation for. This charge (if convicted)potentially carried some time, fine, and a bad stigma that stayed with a person their entire life. I was truly worried and didn t know what to do. I sure called the right law firm! Dunham & Jones knew exactly what to do for this, and gave me a VERY AFFORDABLE price that i was able to pay off over time. From the beginning to the end, they handled my court dates and appearances like a personal assistant would handle your messages. They had good input about the matter the entire time, and after following the steps that D&J recommended, we were able to get the case dismissed!! The waiting game tactic worked because of the clever thinking and strategizing that my legal team.suggested Because of these tactics, by the time the court proceedings were upon us, the remaining witness was unresponsive and not interested in a case that was 2 years old, thus being unresponsive to the anyone including the prosecutor assigned to this particular case/charge. It was thrown out soon thereafter. I can t thank them enough for giving me peace of mind again. I would definitely recommend these guys for anyone else that is thinking about hiring legal representation for a criminal charge. They helped me beat a class A misdemeanor violent offense charge, they can help you too!

Met with Mr Dunham. Told me it would be 7.5k and he would negotiate my DWI down to nothing. I asked him if he could do 5k. No problem. For him. He sent one of his people to court instead. Guess 5k wasnt enough to get his attention. His person was fresh out of law school. Did nothing for me other than explain to me how court was going to go. In other words, I have no idea how Dunham and Jones are as DUI attorneys. I didnt pay what they asked so they sent me someone fresh out of law school instead. Nice fellow, but if I spend 5K I dont expect someone fresh out of college. I could have easily spent half the money and ended up with the same results.

I feel as though my case could have been dropped or a different tactic could have been used for better results... They managed the case, but it felt very don t worry about it, we know what we are doing, don t ask too many questions just let us decide what s best and we will tell you what the court decides. My case wasn t dropped, although many just like it are, and I didn t meet my actual lawyer until I got to the court room. I was just told to show up and that they would meet me. That wasn t very reassuring as a first/only time offender. They were professional and did everything legally, I just would have liked more communication, more reassurance, and the lawyers willingness to be more aggressively tactful.

UPDATE: I had previously given this law firm 3 stars along with my honest, accurate review below. However, I now downgrade it to 1 star, as since my review, Im constantly being harassed by this firm via email with threats of being sued for my Google review. Maybe if your firm put this amount of energy into your cases, your clients wouldnt have to wait months to resolve their DWI cases. I suggest you cease and desist with your bogus lawsuit against me before I countersue on grounds of stalking, harassment, and a violation of my freedom of speech (UDHR Article 19 and First Amendment to the United States Constitution). If you really want to play this game with me, we can do this. I have all day. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------- It took 15 MONTHS to get my DWI case resolved!!! That is excessively too long for a DWI case. In addition, based on feedback from my attorney, there were times for sure early on that we had the prosecution backed into a corner but the law firm did not take advantage of those opportunities. They pretty much let the prosecution run the show. The prosecution even made promises they d reduce my DWI to a lesser charge a few months back but they reneged and dragged this case out more, only to end with them reducing my DWI anyway. Felt like the firm should have gotten the prosecution to put their promise in writing the first time. That s just Negotiation 101 and this is essentially why I hired a law firm that specializes in DWI! I also feel the prosecution somewhat won anyway because they kept me coming to court for 15 months (which was like being on probation because I had to take off work and appear in court every month) and I still had to keep the breathalyzer device on my car for 6 more months which I felt was BS since I didn t get convicted of DWI. My lawyer said he would try to negotiate for me to receive time served since the device had been on my car throughout the 15-month case, but once again, the firm was not able to come through for me. In addition, I had to do 17 months of probation. All that said, the end result was still better than a 2nd DWI so overall I m happy. On the positive side, the law firm has relatively inexpensive rates and they offer payment plans. In summary, you get what you pay for.

Today was my court date. I can honestly say, I am more than pleased with the outcome. At the beginning I was skeptical due leak of communication. Luckily, Orenla Deseta came in like super attorney and negotiated an outstanding deal for me. This young lady is extremely informative. I am pleased with service. What I came to understand about this law firm. The attorneys are in court all morning, in different counties. Best time to reach them via phone call is in the afternoon. Also, not every case is the same. You might have different evidence against you, with different circumstances. Therefore, your outcome will be different than mine. Trust me when i tell you. I called seeking information and unfortunately received horrible service via receptionist and once I was transferred to the attorney he came off rude and arrogant. He stated since I wasnt willing to give him information on my juvenile little brother doesnt know what he can help me with, Although when I called I was very clear I did not want to give information on him until my 2 general questions were answered to be sure they would be a great fit for us . UPDATE: Case went from a DWI and a Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, to a simple traffic citation! Thats right! UCW was dropped, then with patience and sticking to my faith in my innocence, 16 months later, the prosecution wanted to avoid trial and offered me a class C misdemeanor traffic ticket! Also, currently using these guys again for a civil case that involves getting rear ended by a drunk driver. Hands down, great law firm! Old post from 2017: So far so good! License didnt get suspended. Great ALR attorney!

My Lawyer was Mr. Michael Parsons (sorry if spelled wrong) He was truly awesome. I loved the service. He was kind and answered all my questions. This was my first time ever being in Trouble I suppose is a good word, but he made it literally a calmer experience.
