Booked a karaoke room for my birthday (9/15). Got there and they were closed. Im not upset that they were closed. Im upset that their booking system allowed me to book and pay for a time on a day they were closed. I left my name and number with the food truck guy so they can have the owner get ahold of me.

They seemed short staffed and they still hold your card for a tab instead of swiping it. The box full of cards sits out in easy reach, so I dont recommend starting a tab. Just pay as you go... The ciders are still really good. Weve always enjoyed them.

Ultra-friendly, with far more ciders on tap than they have out on the market, and knowledgeable service that will happily walk you through them according to your tastes. The generous space is excellent in all weather, and the bike rack is quite nice - be sure to check for live music on the indoor stage, and book some time in their cozy karaoke room, too!

We love this place. No better stop to wet your whistle. If you didn t know The Beverage Palace is home to Austin s most elusive and exclusive karaoke rooms THE K HOLE. That s right go get blasted on ciders and spicy chicken then find yourself in THE K HOLE. But do make sure you close your tab because they hold on to your card. You re definitely gonna want that card once you finally crawl out of THE K HOLE all loosey juicy. Merch is also pretty cool.

It was HOT. They had the big doors open in front but no fans or back doors open for air circulation. Can order from Spicy boys food truck outside, which is good food but inconsistent. Lots of drink choices. We come here for the Geeks Who Drink Trivia Thursday nights, which is fun. The tables inside are all high tops, which can get uncomfortable after 2 hours. I like the place but wouldn t come if not for the trivia if I m being honest

Context: We are very familiar with breweries from years of road tripping to craft producers we love, but I have to qualify this by saying we are fairly new to the world of cider and cideries. A recently discovered gluten intolerance necessitated our transition to beverages sans wheat. And while we love wine, sometimes it can be a little heavy. Enter ciders. We had Fairweather Smell the Van at Pinthouse Pizza on South Lamar. As gin lovers, it hit a note we werent expecting. So when we looked up the Cidery and realized it was up by Q2 stadium, we knew we needed to go. We went on Sunday, October 1st. I have a friend who does not drink alcohol, and I was so happy when we walked in and there was a coffee bar apart from the bar bar. Chalk this up as an option for a double date with a sober friend. The menu at the bar bar also had NA options. Another point. I, however, am not alcohol free, so I opted for the Pineapple Dreams with Tajín. Yall. It was amazing. Cold, sweet, tart, it was perfect. We also got a michelada with the Tejano Dreams cider brewed with chiles. No longer able to drink beer, my husband has been missing a michelada in his life. No longer. The michelada at Fairweather renewed his hope that he might once again be able to craft his favorite beverage at home, when Tejano Dreams is canned and made available to go. The bartender was fantastic, I didnt catch her name but shes a Bears fan, so be nice to her. We sampled several of the on tap ciders, and while they were all unique and good in their own way, the Smell the Van and the Pineapple Dreams were so good, we didnt feel the need to venture further than the michelada before returning. I wholeheartedly recommend this place: the vibe was chill, the drinks were yummy (and the options plentiful), and theres a karaoke room you can rent and belt out your favorite tunes. We had fun listening to the ladies who came in and occupied it while we were there. 11/10, will be returning again. Also, Spicy Boys Chicken is in the parking lot, so I will be eating there next time.

The Fairweather Cider Co. offers several different hard ciders from strong to stronger. Parking is very limited. The brewery doesnt serve food. However, you can get food from the Spicy Boys food truck located in front. It serves chicken, with bone, without bone, and in sandwich form. The Spicy Boys had delicious food, and you wont be disappointed. Fairweather satisfies your thirst and provides a place to sit while Spicy Boys takes care of your hunger. They work well together.

Fairweather is a nice option in the north Austin brewery area. Offer an assortment of self-made ciders and a couple of guest brews as well. Food truck option on site is tasty. Only bad side is Fairweather clearly has gone for the new Austin-tech-bro crowd as prices are clearly include the new Austin tax as they are a little high.

Wow, floored with how good this cider is. I ve always been a fan of sweet and English style pub ciders, and my wife is the opposite - likes dryer ciders with more of a depth to them. Fairweather Cider was down the street for 4th Tap and we thought we d give it a shot. The ciders were a huge hit; Spanish style ciders with some great flavors, really enjoyed the tejano dreams. Inside is a large space, shared with Spokesman Metric, and had tons of tables. Also had a ping pong table inside if you feel like putting those ciders to good use. Spicy Boys food truck is in the parking lot as well if you want any other food not sold at either place inside. Fairweather is top notch cider with great atmosphere, other commenters said it wasn t worth the drive but i wholeheartedly disagree. Fairweather is 100% worth the drive, especially if you like cider options that aren t pure sugar (although they do have some frozen ciders that are sweet if that s your speed)

First time in this area...We started down the street at OB. Then we were headed to the brewery that is next door, but gps took us into wrong parking lot. Unknowingly we walked into Fairweather, and glad we did. As our out of town guest said, this is what I envisioned everything Austin to be. It was open concept, and odd collection of variety of people all enjoying drinks together, both wine and cider. They recommended the cider flights for newbies, and if you do 2 of them then are able to try all but 1 cider.... Ciders: I only remember by the number but the photo above corresponds. These are my thoughts, and a complete novice to ciders... #1 The dry one #2 Crisp, Clean #3 Anaheim Chiles, has a little kick, my wives fav #4 the slightly sweet, that I envision cider to be #5 Can have at breakfast, like juice #6 Not as sweet as #5, and easy drinking #7 Not overt on berry flavor, but smooth #9 traditional Again, I rarely drink ciders and do not have an array of developed tastebuds for these.

My wife and I stopped here on a weekend trip to Austin. Staff was friendly, as were the locals we chatted with. Place is a hole in the wall, but worth vising if youre in the neighborhood.

A nice little tasting room with good flights. Mostly dry ciders, not anything real sweet.

Great selection of dry and exotic ciders, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and its around the corner from an equally excellent brewery. If youre in Austin and want a real taste of the micro-brew scene definitely hit these guys up!

I discovered Fairweather about a year ago. It has become one of my favorite taprooms. The cider is dry and crisp. Tejano Dreams and Easy Tea are my favorites on hot summer evenings. The bartenders are friendly and will give you helpful advice if you re unsure what to order.

Fairweather is a nice cidery in austin with a number of cider choices to pick from. The staff is nice as well. I wished they distributed to San Antonio.
