Terrible portion sizes, even if you ask for more. I see multiple reviews complaining about this over the course of the past year and no fix. Salata is great, just don t go to this one.

Absolutely love Salata the staff is always very welcoming and greet you with a smile on their face, Joe is amazing, salads are always very fresh and the toppings are always presented great the Denton Army recruiting station absolutely loves and supports this establishment and staff would give 100 stars if I could do yourself a favor and check this place out.

For $12 (including tax) you get a regular salad with over 50 toppings to choose from. You can ask for a double scoop of regular ingredients at no extra charge. I never get the meat/fish/tofu. so I dont know about that Its enough to eat as a main course and then a side dish later on. Everything is fresh. There is lemonades and tea available besides the fountain soda. The employees are very polite and helpful. The Restaurant is clean. I think this is a MUST TRY if you love salad!

Better than flower mound in terms of politeness. But I ve been going to both locations for years and lately the South Loop one has started giving much smaller toppings portions to the point I must ask to add a bit more. Also, the now won t give both Pita chips and croissant. Must be a new rule just for this location. Never experienced it in all the years been coming here

This place is phenomenal. Everything was absolutely delicious. Particularly the tomato soup. The remodel looks so good and has such a fun vibe but most of all the staff is great too. Mirym Marym. I m really bad at remembering names but I know it ended in a yn or ym, anyway she gave the best service I ve had in a long time. At such a young age she should be proud of herself as well as Salata. I m sorry for not remembering your name but if you see this thank you so much!! You really are a rock star and thanks for letting me try the jicama!

Im completely thrilled to have a salata finally on loop 288, I know it s brining much business, their ingredients are fresh and don t get me started on the dressings. I wonder if their is a rewards program ? Would be great to get some discounts. Overall the experience and atmosphere is outstanding. Not the mention the staff is always welcoming and on days I m not sure of a dressing they always come up with a suggestion that s tasteful. i went in later to pick up a wrap for dinner. a young man who was working the counter was extremely nice. didn t catch his name, he didn t speak very good english. he might have even been new. but he served me with such kindness and you could tell he was trying his best! there was another man at the cash register to help cash me out. he was also outstanding. whoever runs the shift at night on a saturday, you have an amazing crew that deserve recognition. Incredibly clean and has a nice atmosphere. Huge menu, basically Subway but with twice as many salad options. I will warn everyone, if you are not a fan of salads, this place is probably not for you. But they give you an abundance of food, for a good price, the employees are friendly, and everything looked and tasted fresh. I would absolutely recommend for any dieters, Salata will be you best friend. Vegetarian options: Its a salad place. What more should I say?

I love the salads, but the service was horrible. I was helped by some lady named Laura and she made faces every time I asked to please add an extra spoonful of anything and the second spoon wasn t even full. I mentioned that if it had an extra charge I could pay for it but she said well we were train to just give 1 spoonful . I honestly love this place but I might need to go to the one at razor ranch once they open.

Small salad was $18! I added some chicken and avacado but it still seems wildly overpriced. There arent any prices posted so you dont realize until youre paying. Had visited this establishment once they opened a few times and they had always honored the teacher discount but have always had to ask for more on toppings. The amount of toppings they give you is very minimal. A LOT of greens and a small scoop of toppings. The last visit, about two weeks ago, was less than desirable. I ordered two salads, a regular and a small. The young guy put the same amount of protein on both salads. I asked for a little more meat on the larger salad, and he put ONE more cube of meat on. I decided not to even fight this battle but instead laughed it off. However, the TEACHER DISCOUNT was honored on this visit and all previous visits. I decided, after a long day of work, to stop by yesterday afternoon. Again, very minimal toppings having to ask for a bit more on just a couple. I arrive at the register and the man (Im guessing the manager) tells me they dont honor teacher discounts, only military. LOL... I asked when and why. He said THEY said they would only honor military and told me to get the app so that I could accumulate points for purchases. I pay, I leave and I call the other establishment in Flower Mound that I frequent. THEY DO HONOR THE TEACHER DISCOUNT. Even though its just ONE DOLLAR, its nice to be honored even just a little bit. Im assuming this is NOT a company policy but perhaps store policy. Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE BACK to this restaurant. I will continue grabbing salads elsewhere if Im not near Flower Mound. This store needs customer service training to say the least, and could be a little friendlier. And maybe bring back the TEACHER DISCOUNTS!

Its delish but protein (steak, chicken) is extra and I got a teeny tiny bit of steak for $5 extra. Chipotle is a better deal in terms of protein. I weighed my protein and it was 2 oz for $5. This is my go to salad spot but i have been disappointed the past few times. The spicy ranch is entirely too think. No dressing should be that think. When you ask for a little bit of an ingredient like red onions, they don t even listen to you. They just put the whole scoop on your salad. Im grateful I had a $10 birthday credit here to try something for the first time, because I would have been really disappointed had I paid full price :( There was a considerable amount of not-fresh lettuce in mine, and a lot of core. Very little toppings, and Im not sure if the steak is supposed to be that pink but it didnt look safe to me, especially when its cold that gave me the impression it wasnt worth the risk. Its not just pink its definitely not cooked. The dressing (southwest) was much spicier than expected and I do wish I knew that ahead of time. For the price it would normally cost, I find it laughable. Pita strips were good and the tea was just ok. Inside is lovely however and my order was done when it was supposed to be. Unfortunately thatll be the first and last visit for me though

Had not privilegedly been to a Salata restaurant and found this to be a really nice dining option. The staff is very friendly and does an excellent job mixing the salads. There are ample dressing options. The atmosphere is typical fast food but not unpleasant. It was an excellent meal! Parking: The restaurant was quite conveniently located with access to major highways within a mile. Kid-friendliness: Looks like an excellent place to bring kids.

The food here was excellent in the atmosphere was a very nice and pleasant. The manager there was very sweet, kind and caring. The staff, on the other hand, was very rude and disrespectful to my husband and I. Its a shame we go to a different location. And they treat us fantastic and dont give any excuses. The staff working there, needs a real judgment on their attitude. One thing I will say they dont show the prices of the selections of the wraps or the salad bowls or their soup choices, its a guessing game on the cost of what items cost.

Ordered 3 salads and received 2. I called and they knew right away that they forgot to give it to me. Now we have to drive back to get it. No apology, no offer for compensation, just an excuse that they were training someone and forgot to give us the second bag. For how much this place costs, you would hope they could at least figure out how to ensure your order is correct. First and last visit, Ill drive to flower mound next time for their rude service. Update: when I picked up my missing salad, I came home and realized that several ingredients and an extra dressing I paid for were missing. I called immediately and they did apologize as well as perform service recovery. The owners called me tonight as well and apologized. I appreciate their kindness and appropriate recovery to invite us back as customers. We will give them another shot. The restaurant is welcoming, the serving stations are clean, and the food is fresh and delicious (I definitely hope it stays this way). The freshness and quality of the food and the ability to customize your salad makes the price reasonable at $9 bowl for a small and $10 bowl for regular which DOES NOT include protein. Depending on what type of protein you add you will likely pay $13-$16 per salad with protein (taxes included). I would have given a 5 ..but I experienced a minor issue both times I visited. First time I visited I ordered a small, when I reviewed the receipt I saw that I was charged for a large, but I had already left the store so I didn t address the issue. The second time I actually ordered a large but I was given the portion size of a small. A customer in line next to me ordered a small and her serving portion was larger than mine. I did receive great customer service from Claudio who fixed the issue. They have a reward program that gives you 85 points for signing up so if you download the app and scan your receipt you ll like have a $7 reward on your next visit, sadly the employees don t inform you of the rewards program. Worth a try to support a new business, but make sure you are getting what you requested and what you are paying for!

OK, the bowls are a bit huge (a smaller option would really help), but the lettuce and the fixings were delicious, even the next day when we were finally able to finish it. I love this place and having one on campus makes it the best option for eating! Salads are always fresh and the atmosphere is always clean and inviting :))

It is a clean place to eat. They have a straight forward set up of basic ingredients that you can arrange in a salad or wrap form. I have no complaints other than I still prefer Snappy Salad, who adds flavor to ingredients and has a different curation of proteins.

Went for a late lunch, and was impressed by the selection, the helpful staff ( Ariel ) and the flavor of everything. Not a tomato soup fan, but, the tomato basil was very good. Bread was , as well. A place to visit often if I lived closer.

I dont know how I didnt know about this place until now! Amazing salad bar on fry street next to chipotle with gorgeous modern decor. The salad bar itself has anything you could possibly think to put in a salad, and you can even get it as a wrap, using various types of tortillas! Beverages are limited to tea and lemonade, however they have very unique flavors. For instance, the prickly pear lemonade was delicious. Service was friendly and overall I think its one of the best places to eat in Denton if youre trying to be healthy.

I wish there were made-for-you selections, but the food is very fresh and the fixins are delicious. The Vietnamese salad guy was very nice and helpful in building my salad. The ambiance is weird; sterile and corporate feeling and the music sucked-some crappy world music, but otherwise it was good.

Eating literally the best salad Ive ever stuffed into my face. I came in with a friend once before and met the owner. She was incredibly friendly and being entrepreneurial minded myself her and I had a great discussion about how she decided to open this location. All of the staff are very welcoming and offer outstanding customer service. If you havent been to Salata, that needs to change! Great job!
