I was seated in a pretty busy area for 20 mins. Nobody offered me a drink or to take my order and one employee did ask as i was leaving. I guess my party wasnt big enough. The manager didnt really care and this seems to be the culture here. I am not sure why i was treated so poorly. Very unfortunate and a waste of time.

My experience here was so bad I truly just walked out .it took us 20 minutes to just get our drink orders placed . We attempted to wait another 20 but gave up as we had not even gotten our water . Without any sight of our waiter, we had given up as 40 minutes have gone by, and we had yet to not only NOT order food, but we had not even RECEIVED a drink/water/utensils/further acknowledgment .. a waste of time coming here, truly. I waited over an hour for our food because the waitress forgot to press submit to our order (which is okay accidents happen) but the fact that the people who got seated half an hour after us got their food and finished their meals before we even received ours was ridiculous. She said our food would be made right away but we proceed to wait over 30 more minutes for our food to come. Didn t ask for a refill until we were already finished with our food and I didn t even get the chance to tell her yes because once my friend said she was fine she just walked away and didn t wait for my answer. I work in the food industry so I feel for others but I didn t get any compensation for the bad service. The best was $2 off but I didn t see any discount. Also cussing infront of us was very unprofessional. Avoid this location and go to the other one 5-10 mins away. You ll be in and out quicker and the service will be better.

Me an my family came here to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress Krystal Puebla. Was our server se brought out our drinks and never came back. Not to happy with my recent experience with Pluckers south Lamar. Ordered the 5 wing combo with the fries, when I received my fries they were cold, not even close to being warm. The waiter was too busy checking on his coworkers to swing by and offer a refill. To finish the night off as I was leaving I spotted a huge roach crawling around on the wall near the booths in the front of the restaurant. I normally have good experience at the other locations, but I was disappointed in the food, service and cleanliness of this location.

Had a lame experience here on 6/23 - after being seated and ignored for 15 minutes, had to ask for a server to come by. Once she took our order, it was another 35 minutes for 2 orders of wings and some chicken tenders. All food was lukewarm when it arrived and the sauce on my wings had dried out from sitting under the heatlamp too long. Server didn t check on us at all and had to flag her down for more water and some extra sauce. Tables around us had their food within 10 minutes so I guess she just didn t want to pay attention to us. Lots of flies in the restaurant, TVs were pretty loud for a soccer game. Plenty of employees standing around chatting so it was a bummer to feel so forgotten about. Won t be going back, even though I love the spicy garlic parm wings.

My son and I have come every Monday for the past month and occasional Thursday after his tutoring. We have always gotten and SHARED the all you can eat wings. It took the server at least 5 minutes to acknowledge we had sat down. She asked for our drink order, I ordered. I told her we were ready to order. Our waitress was really nice and personable. We ordered Wings, hamburger, and fries. When the dishes first came out, the fries were cold as ice. The lemon pepper wings was OK really tangy. The burger was the honey barbecue with onions. It was OK, but the bun was cold and stiff. I had to request fresh fries. When the french fries came out, they were OK. The ambience was less than desirable. The management needs to take more time floors tables are cleaned. We have not had good luck with our dining experiences in Austin this time around.

Like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since immediately after I ordered my patty melt. Anyways 100% yall are racist, i was 10x more sober than 90% of my friends but i was singled out (including the other guests) l Yall either thought i was black or mexican and decided to single me out. Once again check my spelling and grammar and check the video feed. I literally am more quite and calm than 95% of ur ppl. Either way this 20 year old manager ruined my burthday night. We had to wait 45 min to get a seat, so 2 drinks and a 45 min wait, not only am I 100% sober, but i was denied a drink on my birthday while i was sober and patiently waiting. I ve come here twice and I think I keep going back because of the location because it s definitely not for the food. The first time I got a Cheech and Chong sandwich that was all soggy with the bread and did not taste good at all so I decided to go back a second time, I ordered Korean barbecue chicken tenders. They tasted disgusting what a waste of a $16 plate I have spent over $100 each time I ve gone there and I do not believe I will be back again. The staff got my order wrong on something simple as drinks, and then they failed to keep checking on my families table. This is a good place to go. If you want to hear people talk really loud while they re getting drunk seeing if they know the same people from different neighborhoods in Austin and watch a game.

This was our first time visiting this location. We were there for about an hour and a half to two hours. A majority of that time was spent waiting at our table for the food, unfortunately. Maybe they were having an off day, but we put the kids meal order (corn dog with Mac and cheese) in with the app order so that it would be ready soon-ish for our hangry child. It took an hour for the corn dog to come out. It was a little disappointing considering there were empty tables around us, so they definitely weren t as busy as pluckers can usually get. The food was good when it ended up coming out, though! The lemon pepper is our favorite, but they ve added a lot of flavors! The gochujang is also really good if you like something a little more spicy. I would highly recommend joining the waitlist before you get there and just waiting in your car because there s no waiting area inside or outside of the building.

Last Saturday, I visited this location and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The food was served at room temperature, and the wings were embarrassingly dry. it was quite evident that the food had been sitting under a heating lamp for a long time before it was served to our table. To make matters worse, the rest of our meal, including the appetizers, were served at room temperature as well. On top of that, the service was terrible. Our server didnt even bother to check on us once our food was delivered. She only came back to ask if we were ready to check out. And when we were ready to pay, she stepped away for a good 15 minutes, we had somewhere to be afterwards. I strongly advise you to avoid this location and save your hard-earned money. Spending 30 bucks on a meal that was such a huge disappointment was a waste of time and money.

You were very attentive, and when you thought there were large gaps of time that you hadnt checked in on us you were fast to apologize. My first negative review for a pluckers location. The gentleman that greeted us was rude, he seemed bothered when we asked for inside seating instead of outside. The person that took us to our table didn t even bother saying hi, he had us waiting in the middle of the restaurant after he forgot to leave something behind (they have a new system and it seemed to be a card they all have to swipe to get into it). After 25 minutes of waiting we asked an employee if she knew who our waiter was, it turned out that there was no waiters assigned to that area. Our waitress was good, but we overheard her telling the table behind us (that got there after us) that they would be getting a discount (free appetizer) because of having the same issue as us, 2 managers came to their table and apologized for the inconvenience . We didn t get a discount or get approached by the managers. As we were leaving a family of 3 was experiencing that exact same thing, they asked an employee (waitress with butterfly clip) if she knew who their waiter was and she gave them attitude and told them it wasn t her assigned responsibility to know who their server was. I had never experienced anything like this at pluckers, hope the managers pay more attention to how long they have people waiting and get rid of the bad attitude the current employees have, they all seemed to be having a bad day.

I tried this place for the first. The staff were very friendly. I ordered wings & fries. The wings were delicious, but they still had feathers on some of them... the fries were cold & not too good. I feel like all locations have been sliding the past few years, in service and product, despite the ridiculous increase in cost of said product, with boneless wings getting tougher. But I guess its just me? Putting an online order in, walking in 10 mins after pick-up time, only to have to wait for 20 more mins to not have it ready or be updated by hostesses who are busy watching the TVs is ridiculous. Canceled my order. I thought Id give them a chance again after a year to see if any better organization had happened, but apparently not. Definitely will not be giving anymore chances. Sucks bc I loved the Dr. Pepper flavor. Kudos to the one hostess who seemed to be doing everything who wasnt watching TV and understands what initiative means. Pluckers - if you say estimated time is x, I shouldnt be showing up at x+10, with the order still not ready 30 mins after alleged pick-up time. Your kitchen should do better. My time is more valuable. Pretty surenot sitting in there and waiting 50 mins total for my food.

Don t know why they take forever sitting you down, there s plenty of tables available and still take 45 minutes or an hour even longer, when we all see A LOT of empty tables. Also, the hostesses up front need to have better training to welcome people. It s always better if you order to go but always double check your order.

Dinning in is always a mess and the wait times can be up to an hour long. Its easier to order on the app and take it to go. Do check your food items, because a few things will be missing. The service isnt bad, its always chaotic, but in a fun way. The food here is average and the wings have shrunk, but they do pack on the sauce. Whoever bathed my wings in all this sauce, thank you, it was sooo good!!!. The holy Mac is the best thing about pluckers.

If I could give them no stars I, they discriminate against deaf people my son went up there to apply for a job he has line cook experience and has been working in restaurants for many years ,the manager Danielle Espinosa told him that he could not work in the kitchen because it was unsafe for him and thats what the human resources at pluckers told her. How is it unsafe for him to cook how is it unsafe in any way shape or form for him to cook, was not quite sure about how to read into what she told him but she said that she could not do anything for him because it was unsafe and human resources told her to tell him that. So what are they saying all deaf people are stupid and they cant even cook so does that mean they cant drive they cant do their own clothes they cant function on a day-to-day basis thats what its telling me. For her to even say this is ridiculous on so many different levels, and if the human resources department in pluckers is telling her to tell deaf people they cant employ them because of that its too dangerous then there is something definitely wrong with pluckers.
