I performed at the venue. It is a nice facility, but the biggest turn off is the sound system. The microphone was was too loud. I was booked to sing and do spoken word for an event. It was frustrating to have to be told to hold the mic down to your chest the whole time while youre singing and performing. It kept going in and out, as well as shutting off. It was a complete turn off. Of course, as a professional I kept pushing through the performance. But, the event host at least had to walk over to me about four or 5 times during my 10 minute performance to address microphone issues. For me, it it threw off the energy of my performance cause me to hold back a little bit on how much I moved around because I was worried about if it was going to stop working. Cherry Moon Grill needs to invest in a better sound system. Emcees, speakers and performers cannot navigate with fidelity when a sound system are mics are working effectively in an event space of that size. There was no way that I could have realistically performed without the mic since it was a type of event where vending was going on at the same time. I would have had to strain my voice to project over those who were shopping and selling and ordering food from the kitchen. For me, that was the biggest disappointment. The sound system is a definite deal-breaker. If you are looking for a venue to host events know I dont recommend using that facility unless you were able to bring your own quality sound equipment and you are able to negotiate with them that they reduce the the rate or fee because of their poor quality PA system.

Went Super Bowl Sunday 2024. Staff was up front with everyone about long waits for food which was appreciated. Manager was down to earth and explained to us the reasoning for long waits for food and Limited menu when asked.

Went Saturday night and while we didnt get to try the food, the atmosphere and service was excellent. As soon as we walked in the bartender was greeting us and the staff was great the whole time. This is a great spot to chill, dance and see at the icon himself, Prince, immortalized behind the bar.

This was my second time coming. The first time we thought it was karaoke night but it wasnt. Thats ok. We played a couple of games of pool. The second time we went it was karaoke night in fact but after an hour of waiting and playing pool we decided to leave. I was kinda disappointed. But my first time the drinks were good. And the second time the ladies that worked there were awesome but I wanted to sing a few notes. Hopefully next time they can make that happen for sure. Most definitely will be returning.

They are very disorganized and they steal. The bartenders will steal from you. I used my card and I tipped her but then she came back and retipped herself. I know this review is long but I wanted to be as thorough as possible in my review. On Oct 24th around 8:30, a few friends and I visited Cherry Moon Grill and Bar for after class drinks and diner. Our waitress was cheery when she greeted us. Duchess passed us a few menus and said she would be back shortly. We saw that Happy Hour would end at 9pm and when a few more ladies joined us, we let them know that. Those ladies went to the bar and ordered their drinks and food. My group of 5 ladies had already placed our drinks and food order prior to them arriving. Quite a bit of time had past and we noticed that we that we had not received our drinks nor food. This was odd because the ladies that placed their orders at the bar had already received their orders. Dutchess did come by and let us know that our food was coming soon. The first order (Nachos) came and it look good. The second order (wings) came and it look good to. While I am waiting on my order to come I snagged a fry from the wing basket and it was not hot nor warm. Ten minutes later, my cheeseburger and fries arrive. The bun felt cool to the touch, the fries was room temp, but I still wanted to give it a try. I took one bite of the burger and noticed the ketchup missing so I added a little but using a fry to spread. Took another bite and it tasted as if I bit on a salt lick. It was horrible to taste. I opened the burger to see if I could see where he salt was. I could not see it due to the cheese, mayo and tomato. I took another bite and the extreme taste of salt was not missed. I grabbed the plate and proceeded to the bar to ask for the manager. When Dutchess asked what happened, I ask her to get the manager because something was really wrong with the burger and I wanted to address it with her. The manager never came out to ask what the issue was. The waitress said that I could get a refund or could order something else. At this point I was done with the whole scene. The barmaid asked me what was wrong with the burger. I told her that it taste as if someone poured a bottle of salt on it. The I lifted the bun to show the barmaid and my waitress and you could see the salt on the burger and napkin I used to wipe my fingers. For a person who normally do not use salt, I had that taste in my mouth for a day and a headache that lated 2 days.

It was our first time here and maybe this Tuesday isnt the norm. My wifes Sorority (Sigma Gamma Rho) had gathered at Cherry Moon recently and seemed to have a great time so we wanted to check it out as well. After her Linedance class here in Duncanville, I invited about 15 of her students to join us for food and drinks at this venue, and wow. The service was slow, everyones food was not good, it was either thrown away or taken back for corrections. I ordered a chilled Tequila that came almost an hour later and full of ice, the wings I ordered tasted like straight old cooking oil sprinkled with lemon pepper, the music was screaming loud and cuss layered, which made me feel awkward for inviting these Queens to such an environment. However, I do like how its set up and its potential to be great. Im not going to write this place completely off just yet because like I said it was our first time. Hopefully the second time is a charm. If so, Ill definitely update this review accordingly.

This was our first time checking Cherry Moon out. I heard about the Fish and Shrimp Cajun Pasta and had to try it. Me and the fam stopped by and it truly was what I expected. Very flavorful! Now, it did take a little bit of time to get our orders, but management took care of us, even w/o us complaining. I believe we were even treated to some watermelon lemonade (I hope I got that right and it s a must try too) as a sorry for the delay and thank you for choosing to dine with us. What an amazing location! Big enough for a large affair with multiple private areas for more intimate engagements all at the same time. Huge dance floor, and built in stage for performances to support an variety of personal and professional events. Now the food and drinks are simply fabulous! One of my favorites is the Catfish Nuggets crispy fried, perfectly seasoned--sauce not needed. Keep having a issue with quality of food, light skin tall guy in the kitchen don t know his name, I honestly feel he isn t qualified to be a cook in the kitchen not trying to be funny but some people just shouldn t do certain type of work if they can not provide quality service. Another thing that bothers me is the casual street wear no hair net no gloves including him coming in and out from kitchen going outside of the building then come back in and jump right back to handling people s food and going in and out the kitchen from outside, and doesn t appear to wash hands and he was taking too long to do a simple 8 piece wing basket and fries and it was literally nobody in Cherry Moon and I was the first order when I got there. Had to send food back chicken not properly cooked and after waiting over 30 min had to wait again for correction. It s too many people that doesn t work kitchen cooking dressed in basic street clothes coming straight from out side walking in the kitchen where our food is being prepared for me including the people cooking with no proper cooking attire no hair nets no gloves it s giving unsanitary and improper food handling.2 of my people got food poisoning from the pasta and ended up with messed up stomachs and on the toilet from eating here at cherry moon. The prices are way too high for the quality of food we get and the way it s handled with mediocre service. They want tips but I have to do 95 percent of the work to be served, like I have to go to the bar to order food and my drinks including come back from sitting at my table just to pick up my food including had to return back to the bar to ask again for my water that I asked for when I ordered my drink never got it and having to keep getting up to ask for stuff. Kitchen seems VERY unorganized. Price does not match quality. If I am paying upscale lounge prices the service should match cherrymoon has potential if the customer service is improved and the kitchen makes a few changes with time management and food quality and why is everything plastic and to go type dish products if we are dining in?????? Karaoke Dj Chief gets 5 stars he is awesome! Great Dj!!

I ordered food (CHICKEN PASTA HAPPY HOUR) IT took hours and I mean just that hours to get . My brother ordered after me and got his before me!! I spoke on it so many times!! Its wasnt the person who took my order fault she did her job right!! Music was on point, wings were fresh and hot. -Cons: pasta meal was cold (did not send back due to time it took to get it in first place), fries were barely warm, no one at our table received utensils nor condiments (had to go ask staff for it), EXTREMELY long time to get food (suggest eating before or after), staff members looked very overwhelmed throughout the evening and night on the floor and behind counter. Came here on a whim via recommendation, was told the food was really good. First impression was this place was HUGE and would be a great spot for hosting events or watch a game or fight; the place was filled with people dancing and having a great time which made the vibe awesome. Im service industry myself so I know that knowledgeable and attentive staff is important and the staff on duty was both I forgot the gentlemans name who took care of us but he was really cool. The food was amazing, I wanted the Lamb but it was sold out due to its popularity so I got the Soul Bowl and let me tell you it definitely had soul chicken was crispy yet tender, the yams were heavenly and mac cheese was creamy and smooth the greens were a little salty but cooked to perfection. The chef/owner came out and personally spoke and had laugh a with me and my day one and shared that this place will be the spot for the upcoming NBA and NFL seasons which is exciting. Overall I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was infectious. I will be stopping to get that lamb and for sure watching some games here.

This is a nice party spot. Very spacious. We were there for a birthday party and we were in a reserved area for that, looking down on the dance floor, pool tables, and the stage. Great DJ played music upon our arrival then a live band came on later. The music was on point all night. The french fries are to die for!!!! Updating review from 5 to 3 stars: Food quality inconsistent. We returned 2 weeks later. Waited 75 mins. Our fish and shrimp had no seasoning. The fries were oily and didnt even have salt. We didnt mind waiting because the food was so good the last time, but we wont be returning due to this experience. Original review: Let me tell you, this was the Best catfish/shrimp we have ever had in this area. Theyve gained a new regular and Im telling everyone I know. We set up to have a Bears watch party. We reserved tables and had set up to bring our own dj. We were notified 6 hours prior to the event that we would not be able to bring our dj. About 40.of us showed up and were advised that they were having karaoke and that we could still watch our game but would not be able to hear it. I mean who wants to watch football and be unable to hear it!! It appears that the cowboys game was able to be heard a few hours earlier. That is absurd and unfair. We subsequently had to go to.bombshells and missed kickoff...but we were able to hear our game and enjoyed ourselves as well. Needless to say we will not be recommending or going back to this establishment in the future. There was a meeting to secure the venue, management was sent the flyer that was created. Only to find out upon arrival that basically if the cowboys are not playing u can simply just watch the game. When support small businesses goes terribly wrong. So if u are not a cowboys fan and actually like to enjoy the game...DO NOT GO TO CHERRY MOON..

My new favorite spot! They hosted my birthday party and I couldnt be more pleased. The service and food were both great and the owners were very attentive to my requests. I cant wait for football season to start!

I have visited Cherry Moon at least 5 times and the warming smiles of the Staff permeat atmosphere, the food is always outstanding and my kids are always asking me to bring some wings back. I really do have a great time when I go to Cherry Moon and will certainly be back with more friends. A five star, much love and continued success!!!!

I been there twice and each time, I leave there with anticipation of bringing new friends to enjoy the fun food, atmosphere and the staff is amazing. The owners are friendly and inviting. They are open to reservations, parties and events. Please before you book your next event, night out on the town, try stopping by the Cherry Moon Grill and Bar, you wont be disappointed

The food was nasty . Wings was dry! Idk If It was the cooks but It looked nothing like advertised. My drinks was plain I got the flight .. it was 2 green and 2 red nothing fancy or decorated like advertised! Very disappointed will not be returning

8/16/22 Visited this establishment for the first time on a Tuesday and really liked the experience. I decided to get out the house and just go somewhere and Im glad I stopped here for the wings. I had the spicy ranch wings which had a touch of heat but still allows them to be enjoyable. The chef greeted me personally which was a plus and also explained his method behind the sauce! Im a foodie and cooking for others bring me joy and from our short conversation I can tell its the same for him. Stop by and enjoy! I will be back to try other things as well as the entertainment.

I m a visual person, so when I walked in Cherry Moon Grill for the first time I was highly pleased! Cherry Moon Grill atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. The food that my group and I tried was Deliciously good, the drinks were absolutely Superb! I must add that the bathrooms were spotless(something I appreciate in any establishment). I highly recommend Cherry Moon Grill.
