Was supposed to meet some friends at a bar and came to this place as my wife said it was the correct spot. Turns out it wasnt. Had some excellent music though. We had a beer and talked a bit and had great service. Thank you Mike! Hated to leave the music but moved on to meet our friends at the correct bar. Probably will stop in again at some point.

I had my opinions about the Anderson Mill Pub, but the last few times Ive been there I have been quite pleased. Great drinks, great service, low-key atmosphere. Definitely a dive, but my kind of dive.

I attended a concert here. Can recommend this pub as a very cozy place with lots of beers and alcohols for good prices. There are chill zone and outdoor as well. Not sure about food, because ordered beers only. Yes, there are no waiters so you should order everything yourself. If you going to attend local band concert, keep in mind that they accept cash only for entrance. There is ATM but will fee (for $40 you will be charged additionally $3.25).

This establishment over served a man this afternoon between noon and 4pm. The staff/bartenders Taylor and Daisy rolled him for $2000 in tips when he was barely able to speak or walk and then just let him walk out the door not knowing if he would get in a vehicle and run down young children in our neighborhood. This is a neighborhood bar located right next door to an elementary school. I would expect our neighborhood bar and STAFF to take better care of OUR neighbors and OUR children. I will be reporting this over serving to the TABC and AIMS.

Best wine bar in Austin. If you love oak and cherries, youll love this place. Ask for the Steak Tartar and house wine. Out of this world. Biggest wine selection in the area. 1 million stars if possible. Vegetarian options: Eggs. Dietary restrictions: Im diabetic and they gave so many snickers. Kid-friendliness: So many toys. All the toys.

HEY! I just turned 21 on july 24th. and i came from out of town, (3 hours away) with my boyfriend, and she literally didn t wanna serve us, just because we looked young. we gave the bartender our IDs and she stared at them for a long time and said i m not gonna serve y all and just had us leave, this trip was for my birthday. and this lady, who was CLEARLY under the influence didn t wanna serve us just because of how young we looked. despite giving her our ids. terrible service.

What a joke of a place I came to see a friend of mine Shawn Austin, I ordered two drinks I tipped good..18 tip for 2 vodka soda lime. I was trying to buy a round for the band and friends and always tip 30-40%, stood at bar for 20 minutes and was passed up multiple times and had Shawn Austin and friends waiting for service. Girls behind bar just kept passing by and never even asked ,,,what a joke! If your bar staff doesnt like their job tell them to get an education!

The staff here is phenomenal! They are always on top of things, serving up fantastic drinks promptly, allowing you to fully enjoy the live music. You can also have a great time with pool tables and occasional karaoke nights. Its a fantastic local bar thats definitely worth a visit.

Dropped by Wednesday night, May 10, 2023 for the jam. Was hessitant to go because the band on Wednesday night is always too loud, like 130 DBs loud. BUT, LO AND BEHOLD, they had a different band this time and I swear it was only two-thirds as loud, and I could actually hear myself think. It was a nice comfortable volume. Stormy the bartender is AWESOME!! So FIVE STARS

What a gem of a bar! My buddy and I just randomly googled this place after looking for a place close to our lunch spot where we could grab a drink. Bar had some nice tunes playing, ample TVs to watch the Masters, and free pool and shuffleboard tables. There were several regulars sitting at the bar. Def had that friendly local hangout vibe where everyone is your friend. Bartender was attentive and had a laugh that brightened up the whole room. I hope to come back!

It smells bad in there. We went in and there was no bartender in sight. Waited for a while and nothing. There was a guy nervously pacing back and forth inside. Not sure what he was doing, but it didnt look right. The place was kind of depressing. Not going back.

I guess you could say it was not what we expected. Came in around 12:30am to end up seeing a talented live jazz band? Whaaaaat? So yeah, very cool. Looked like a handful of ways to entertain yourself with dart boards, pool tables, and more. Plenty of smiling folks around which is always a good sign. Bartenders were good at what they do and altogether it was a nice way to end a Friday night thanks AMP

This is a cool bar on Anderson Mill Rd in Austin. Its really big! I went for their open-mic that they have on Wednesdays. There were alot of talented people playing. One suggestion; If you want to play, get there early (like 7:30) because the list fills up quickly! All the musicians and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

If you re going to insist that you re a 21+ establishment, there should be signage on and in your store, security checking IDs, and that info should be stated on your website and your Google business page. The band we were going to see even checked ahead of time with this venue to make sure that everyone in our party could come. Not to mention the 20 year old that got hassled had her mother with her to see one of their favorite bands together and there was someone with an actual child sitting in the bar. I m very understanding to how rough being a bartender is and how strict bartenders need to be to cover themselves and the bar. However, there is absolutely no reason for the bartender to say I m not calling you a bad mother when no one has said anything about anyone being a bad mother, nor to be so condescending to our entire group. After she told us we could stay until a certain time and making the bad mother statement, the bartender then started berating our mother for not making eye contact with her and calling our mother rude for it, making sure to seriously anger all four of her kids. When people are anxious because you re causing a scene and insinuating that they re a bad mother in public in front of their kid s friends, they may not want to look at you in order to keep their composure. Maybe instead of being condescending and escalating the situation, you could just stop talking and instead end it at the resolution that we had already all agreed to? She wanted to have problems.

Bands! The stage here is HUUUUGE, sound guy is awesome and super friendly. Attractive bartenders, oversized Jenga, oversized Connect 4, sporty mcsportsball on multiple teeveeees, even some little gambling games too! Awesome place to hear live music. The interior feels like youre in your high school friends basement where everybody got together to jam and hangout, only way better lighted and designed. The staff gave you that true Austin way of bohemian nature that has always made this city great. Bonus, all the patrons were the same. You could tell there were a lot of regulars, which made for a great time all night. The sound system rocked, allowing the cover bands to sound pro. Goodtimes.
